PLEASE DO NOT USE. 28health is a SCAM! They will charge you and your insurance company without your consent for prescription that you do not need nor did you authorize. Impossible to cancel or speak to a representative as you can only email and text. They will never respond. Do not waste your time on this scamming company.

Hi there, My name is Kelsey and I'm a member of our Escalations Department here at Twentyeight Health. I want to first truly apologize for this delayed response. We're currently reviewing our external customer reviews and were not aware many of our customers were using this platform to share their experiences. We're committed to responding to all reviews, positive and negative, and thoughtfully considering feedback from our customers. With this in mind, I'm sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with incorrect billing to your insurance as we're committed to accurate billing. That's definitely not the experience we hoped you would have and I'd be grateful for the opportunity to review this case. Regarding response time, our service did experience an unprecedented increase in volume in 2023 when we provided continuity of care for thousands of patients from SimpleHealth and The Pill Club when they wound down their services. We've since taken steps to add additional associates to our Care Team and have adjusted many of our processes to ensure we're providing the highest level of prompt, efficient, and seamless support. Our Care Team now aims to respond to all incoming chats, texts, and emails within 1 business day. However, the issues you experienced are definitely not up to our standards, and I’ve reached out to you privately through Reviews.io in the hopes of ensuring your concern was fully resolved. Sincerely, Kelsey (she/her)

I signed up, seemed easy enough. Gave them my insurance info- got my medication mailed to me...no cost because it was completely covered by my insurance. They gave me 3 months at a time. Well not here I am on month 3 1/2 with no birth control and my period is starting very heavily again due to no medication. They are blaming this on my insurance information not being correct. THE INFORMATION IS THE SAME AS THE FIRST TIME THEY FILLED IT AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I look onto my insurance online portal- they APPROVED THIS REFILL OVER A WEEK AGO. Twentyeight health is STILL saying that they don't have my correct insurance information and will not dispense my birth control- even when I have proof that they have billed and charged my insurance company for the medication.

With this in mind, I'm so sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with our service due to this frustrating insurance issue and apologize for any inconvenience or undue stress caused. Should be zero stars. I was transferred from Simple Health to Twentyeight and god how i miss simple health. Everything was so easy and 'simple' at Simple Health. they would charge me $45 for 3 packs of Mylan Norethindrone while Twentyeight charges for $25 for one packs. meaning i'd have to spend $75 for 3 packs. I also asked for my prescription (that I had paid for) in printable form THREE TIMES so i can submit it to a different online clinic but they kept ignoring me. the customer help chat responds so slow, and if you send a complain through email, they'd just send you another pack and charge you $25 more as if that fixes everything. Horrible experience, do not recommend.

With this in mind, I'm so sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with our service during your transition of care from SimpleHealth. We've since taken steps to add additional associates to our Care Team and have adjusted many of our processes to ensure we're providing the highest level of prompt, efficient, and seamless support. I can clarify that while we are unable to provide copies of prescriptions written by a provider through our service, we can always transfer a prescription to a local pharmacy or mail delivery service of your preference! Regarding pricing, our pharmacy partners have increased medication prices several times in the last few years, and we’ve had to adjust our out-of-pocket pricing to continue to make sure we can serve our customers. Although we were not able to offer the price that you had previously with SimpleHealth, we do have a number of lower cost options starting at $18/month, similar to our competitors. I truly apologize for any disappointment as that's not the experience we hoped you would have with our service. I’ve reached out to you privately through Reviews.io in the hopes of ensuring your concern was fully resolved. Sincerely,
 Kelsey (she/her)

While customer service is good and responsive, shipping and delivery seems to be incredibly slow. I was moved to twenty eight health from simple health which was much better. I sent in an order for a bc ring in august and still haven’t gotten any delivery or tracking info in december. Normally I wouldn’t mind as I understand they’re busy but i think that birth control and sexual health meds are important to have on time or at least let users now that wait times can take more than half a year to process

While do accept Medicaid, each policy is different and it's possible that some policies are not in-network with our service or there is another insurance-related issue that needs to be troubleshooted. I would truly appreciate the opportunity to further review this! Regarding the delays experienced, I can clarify that in 2023 we provided continuity of care for thousands of folks from SimpleHealth and The Pill Club when they unexpectedly wound down their operations. Twentyeight health is not be the best option. They gave me an RX at the start of November. I still don’t have the prescription. It was supposed to be delivered by December 8th. Now, they won’t even transfer it to my pharmacy. It’s taken over a week to get them to reply to my message, asking again for info on the pharmacy. This was after a month long debate about my insurance not covering the doctors visit that they boast as being free. They didn’t charge my insurance for the “visit” by the way. She read over what I had typed and gave me the prescription. I was with the pill club, loved them. But they shut down and transferred everyone. This is such a chaotic mess. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

With this in mind, I'm so sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with our service. That's definitely not the experience we hoped you would have. I'd be grateful for the opportunity to review this case and ensure our team learns from this moving forward, to ensure more seamless experiences for our customers. I can clarify that our previous annual evaluation fee model was not free or covered by insurance. Up until April of this year, our annual evaluation fee was $26 out of pocket. This covered the provider's time to review your medical history and prescribe medication. I truly apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding! Regarding the delays experienced, I can clarify that in 2023 we provided continuity of care for thousands of folks from SimpleHealth and The Pill Club when they unexpectedly wound down their operations. After getting transferred from the pill club I was sent the wrong prescription. After several emails because you can't call and talk to a real person I got it corrected to the birth control I was on through the pill club. Asked for a refill of the correct perception and was sent yet another wrong prescription. It's been less than a week since I had to fight to get it fixed and they sent the wrong thing again. Seems like the keep sending me a more expensive script. Awful experience. Do not recommend

Same experience as most people here. Was charged $158 for medication and it was never sent. I reached out over and over and have now had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Terrible customer service, a scam in general.

Charged me over $100.00 for a prescription that I did not order... Can't get a hold of anyone to help me. They only respond via email or text... I have gotten one email without resolution and my 3 texts have been completely ignored. Do not give them any bank or cc info to keep on file!!

Terrible company. They are stealing your money, $25 per pack of birth control is RIDICULOUS. Especially when they don’t even send you your brand of birth control and sub it out for generic brands that “are the same”. If they are the same, then why do they give me a bad reaction? Why are my symptoms different? And they still charge you the full cost. I asked for a refund and they refused.

With this in mind, I'm so sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience our service. It's our mission to provide affordable and convenient access to reproductive and sexual healthcare for underserved communities. Driven by this mission, we’ve done our best over the last 4+ years to absorb all of the rising costs without passing them on to you. With that said, our pharmacy partners have increased medication prices several times in the last few years, and we’ve had to adjust our out-of-pocket pricing to continue to make sure we can serve you. Our lowest cost medications start at $18, which is comparable to many of our competitors. However, I truly apologize for any disappointment or frustration. Regarding generics, our providers prescribe medically equivalent generics, meaning they have the same exact hormones and doses. Pharmacies are legally able (and in some states, required) to fill generic equivalents. However, if you're interested in receiving only a specific brand we can always accommodate this. I’ve reached out to you privately through Reviews.io in the hopes of ensuring your concerns have been fully resolved since sharing this review! Sincerely,
 Kelsey (she/her)

I was referred to Twentyeight Health after the Pill Club/Favor (which was so efficient and had great customer service) closed. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but a difficult experience with Twentyeight Health. My initial intake paperwork was sent to me in July and I immediately filled out all of the information. I was told my information was received and that I was supposed to get my medication from them at the end of August/start of September. On September 3rd (2 months later) I received an email letting me know that there was an error and they were missing information (however I had already input that same exact information). I immediately fixed it and the shipment date for my pills was set for September 8th. On September 13th I was sent two different and contradictory messages (one by email, one on my account) and new issues. I responded within a few hours asking for clarification about what the issue actually was and now 6 days later after contacting them 5 more times by email, messages, and text I have not heard anything and I have run out of medication. Unfortunately, they are one of the few places that accept Medicaid otherwise I would find a different provider immediately. I am sure that they are overwhelmed by the sudden influx of new patients but it seems that they need more customer service support in order to actually be able to serve their customers. Also, I was supposed to get the annual fee waived as a former Pill Club member but my credit card was charged $26 dollars anyway.

do not, i repeat, DO NOT sign up for this service. They bill your insurance without your consent sending things such as internal condoms (costing close to $300) even though you never opted for it as well as sending birth control that you usually do not take. customer service is unreachable responding at a rate of one message per 3-4 days and refuse to cancel or stop sending these items even though they have been bombarded with emails asking them to stop

It should be 0 stars. This company forgot to notify me to renew my prescription like they're supposed to, strung me along for weeks while I didn't have birth control, then cancelled my 1 year prescription after only 3 months. After that, things got bad. I was without birth control AGAIN and they started charging my bank account for the annual $26 fee (which I had just paid three months ago) multiple times a day. I had to cancel my card to get them to stop, because of course there's no one in billing you can speak to. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced and response time is a joke. They steal from you and all you can do is send them a text they'll ignore for days. No one to speak to on the phone in an emergency. They don't care about your reproductive health and are happy to outright rob you. Avoid this company at all costs.

Worse experience on Earth. I've been waiting over FOUR MONTHS for my birth control pills and they still have not arrived, even though I was told they'd be filled MULTIPLE times, they still have not been processed and NO ONE will respond to my emails.

Since Simple Health (who I never had the slightest issue with) has been taken over by Twenty-Eight Health, I have stopped receiving my prescription. I am also unable to reach ANYONE. You can only reach them by text or email, and they don’t respond. Maybe their brand name stands for the days they wait to reply to your messages? They’re horrible.
