1. They cancelled my arranged appointment as they didn't have the tyres I had paid for. 2. Contacted me by telephone to arrange fitting and offered me an appointment on 5th January, I was unable to make that appointment due to my Mother's 80th birthday so agreed on 6th January...and as a good will gesture (expecting a voucher) they offered me a confirmed time of 10:00! 3. Got an email on 5th January to say the tyres would be fitted that day...I emailed them as per instructions in their email to say I couldn't make it and that I'd already booked the slot for 6th January! Tyre fitter turned up on 5th January but no one home as we were at my Mum's 80th birthday! 4. Spent an hour trying to get through to the call centre on the 6th of January to confirm my tyres are being fitted today. They didn't know and I had to hold on the phone while someone else was contacted. 5. I'm now waiting for an email that should arrive by the end of today...still no tyres though! 6. I thought using an established company like Halfords would make this an easy transaction...I was wrong!

Absolutely terrible service. Wrong battery fitting which could have caused me an accident on the road before it stopped working all together. Canceled their scheduled appointment to repair the problem, with 10 minuted before the appointment and re-scheduled after 3 days.

Awful service. Couldn't get a wheel nut off as he didn't have the tools!!! Then didn't process my refund, I've had to ring 3 times to chase the refund. Utterly horrendous service. Avoid

We booked for tyre repair and locking wheel lock removal, needed to wait 5 days but was over Xmas so fair enough. On 27th we recieved email saying it was cancelled, after 50 minutes in total on hold to the number to contact, were told technician was ill, next one could cone 2 days later! Waited as no other choice, manager supposed to be calling.... 4 days later still no call, when guy did turn up he sheared tool used to try and remove locking wheel nut and said we would have to take it to an auto centre as he only had the one tool in the van!!! So two more days later, which was soonest we could get it in, halfords autocentre northampton sorted it all out in 30 minutes.... save your time, money and stress levels and go straight to the garage, they were great at the work needed and very helpful in sorting out an issue which was not really their problem.

Absolutely unacceptable service. I am giving one star, only because I cannot give zero. I paid two days in advance, I paid extra for a specific time slot and the driver told me that he would not be able to fit the rear tyres and that I needed to reschedule. I called their number and they offered me a time slot two days later that was not convenient at all as I had to travel the next day. I had to cancel two business trips and they resulted in losing a huge amount of money. I requested a refund and they told me that it would take five working days to get the money back, so I could get the tired from another company.

Absolute shambles of a company that shouldn’t be trading. Booked them to come out and fit two tyres for Sunday, didn’t show up and then had a call to tell me the technician had called in sick??? Re booked for the Friday with a time slot between 8am and 10am (they had the cheek to charge me for the time slot!!) this time they turned up 45 minutes after the time slot. To top it off both tyres they fitted were under inflated, basic stuff they can’t get right. No call/text/email to inform me they were going to be late and no apology.

Awful service both times. I make arrangements to work from home or in the second case, take a day off. 1st order the chap rang once, not sure why as i was at home but he never called back and never showed. I chased and eventually he showed up at 5pm. I booked an AM 2 hours slot. Second order ( figured i'd give them another chance) , booked a day off and around midday got a call to say van broken down and cant attend. I was advised a manager would call, which they did not. I called up and cancelled and paid for another service. Then the chap shows up at 5:30 totally oblivious that i had cancelled. just take your car to a garage, much less hassle

The whole process of buying tyres on line has gone awful u have to go too Ur bank to verify its u but once this is complete u don't get taken back to Halfords website and order fails the process is terribly bad I believe this company must be loosing customers in droves

Booked and paid for time slot - bloke turns up 40 mins early. Wanted diagnostics done. When I told him the problems he said “I won’t be able to fix that” and with that said “I won’t plug anything in and cancel this so you will get your money back”. Fantastic I thought and very honest of him. That was 13 days ago. I have since heard nothing and have emailed twice asking for a full refund of nearly £70 - they haven’t even bothered answering the emails. Disgusting service and would not use again It asks further down how long it takes for them to get back to you and so far have heard nothing 😡

The guy put the tyres on the wrong around and argued that was how they were supposed to be. Only when I showed him the ROTATION arrow on the tyre going the wrong way he agreed to change them. This would have impacted my SAFETY! Not ok and in fact would have been a case for the lawyers had I not spotted it.

Do not use !!!! Damaged my car and waited over a month for a response,to which I was told the damage was already there ! Disgusting service .

Absolutely shocking service, first of all the technician was due out Friday just gone. Calls me 10 minutes before my time slot to tell me they have the wrong tyre for my vehicle, re book for Sunday (2days later) for a 12-2pm slot. No call of technician or message to let me know he was on the way, so I called them myself. Only to be told that the tyre hadn’t been delivered today so unable to attend once again. Ordered them to refund me to be told I have to wait another 5 days for the money. Will be using another company in the future as Halfords/Tyre on the drive are useless.

An oil service was carried out on my car at the start of February 2022. They put the incorrect mileage on the reciept. Many phone calls and emails later (2 months+) I still have not received an updated reciept. This will effect the resale value of my car if I do not have proof of the oil change for this year and nothing is being done to correct this error.

Rubbish Service Absolutely Rubbish service. First they ordered the wrong size and called me 10 minutes before the appointment. Then they gave me another date and did not turn up at all without no notice no calls or emails. When my partner called. They said they emailed and tried to contact me. This is a lie as i didn't receive any emails about the change or any missed calls or voice mails . Absolutely dreadful .. avoid at all costs!!

I placed an order on 1st April for 9th April 4-8pm. Paid for the slot. I recieved text and email confirmations the night before and the morning of the tyre replacement. At 7:53pm i called to chase my order and was told my tyre hadnt been delivered and i could be rebooked for Tuesday. I was due to travel the Sunday morning, was left with no car, and left to find an emergency solution. Eventually the depot called me as they had obtained a tyre which I was grateful for, however, the experience was not necessary. If i had been informed the tyre was not available i could have arranged an alternative or not travelled 95miles to get to my cars location. This was poor.

Booked a 6pm-8pm slot and the tyre fitting engineer never turned up. Phoned up to see what the delay was and apparently he was still on another job. Booking system says he is on job 3 and mine is number 12. Despite that my job is noted as "completed" the next day. What??? My guess is the engineer didn't want to do overtime so just left my order open and the next day Halfords put it down as "completed" without even checking with myself. Requested a refund and still waiting. Very poor service and booking system. Ashame as they were apparently good before Halfords took them over. AVOID!

Operative never turned up or informed me that he wouldn't be attending. I had to ring up for a refund, which after 10 days was still not processed. I have rang up again and await a refund. very poor customer service and communication
