"I placed an order through Uber Eats ( Big Mistake) When I pressed submit, I immediately saw that my deliver to address was a hotel I stayed at a couple months back in LA. I live in Georgia. I immediately pressed cancel. According to \"Uber Eats\" in 20 seconds, I thought it was faster. But nevertheless, let's go with 20 seconds. Uber as proxy to Philipos state and claim the order had been started already and therefore charged me the full $76.09 cost of the order. This is theft, in it's most pure form. I would and will never recommend Philipos nor Uber Eats for any consumer. What a carnival racket. Zero attempts to reconcile. Just condescending excuses about how an order cancelled within \"By Ubers count 20 seconds\" had already been started and now had to be fully paid. My money was stolen, no goods or services received."

"No one offers quality customer service any more and as long as companies are making money no one cares. My food was left in a public area, I work at a hospital and gave instructions on where the delivery should be left. It was left on a bench in front of an area of the hospital that isn't even open today. I refuse to eat food left unattended in a public area. I filed a complaint and expect a full refund, as I paid $30 for this meal. In the photo you can see the order was left sitting on the bench because the doors are locked and this is on the opposite side of the building as to where I am working."

"Two customers made an order and total was $21 and later one of the customer refused to pay me and backoff from payment and uber says the customers have the right. I gave them the food. Did not delay or worse eat or decided to run away with it. This is the reason some drivers steal people\u2019s food. And they only talk about drivers stealing food what of customers refusing to pay? And asked customer service for help and they say I have no right to know the base pay of my pay! Really?! I wasted 1.5hours of my time that will never get back and burnt 30miles but only paid for one order which was only $5 from a whole $21? Please make it make sense!!!"

"I\u2019m very upset bc I ordered it when I did so my kids wouldn\u2019t see the driver at the door! He was at the store \u201cshopping\u201d for 10 extra minutes at least, than needed, I know bc he called me asking for replacements, I told him what to get and at least 10min later he\u2019s finally checking out! He comes to my door with my kids right there and can\u2019t even get a pic of my id, he tried at least 5 times and my kids r right there! I\u2019m VERY DISAPPOINTED!!"

“I placed an order to be delivered by uber eats. And can I say Absolutely what disgusting customer service from that company I ordered food for me and my son it came missing my son's burger and milkshake so only got the chips the meal cost £9.49 and they refunded me £5.69 I've rang up twice now and this apparently is the correct amount for the steak stack and large milkshake so I paid £3.80 for a portion of cold chips! I've spent 30 min on the phone. I've spoken to two customer service staff then asked to speak with a manager and got absolutely no satisfaction out of them all. My order has gone in the bin as it was all cold when it arrived because the courier sat at the restaurant with my order waiting for another two orders. (I watched this on the app as I got notification she had picked it up and was still sitting in the restaurant for 10 min) She Dropped one off on the way and gave me the other order by mistake and came back to swap it. And Uber eats don't care that my whole order costing me £20 half wasn't delivered and half went in the bin!! I swear I will never order from Uber again!!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.”

“I ordered 100$ worth of Food. Uber eats driver did not deliver to the right address. I receive the delivered notification and look at the photo. Its not my door. They delivered to the wrong address. The driver is not picking up the phone. So i have no food. And i asked customer service for help and they refuse to refund even tho you can clearly see its their mistake and wrong door. Avoid uber eats at all cost.”

“Had an issue with their website. Freezing/crashing, which resulted in a double order/Double charge to my credit card. Uber Eats would not do anything other than offer A $25 credit credit towards future orders. I would warn everybody about using this company. If you have an issue, they will keep your money. Try doordash instead.”

“They took 100 dollars out of my account and have yet to put it back in. The support rep stated they took a double payment to make sure I had money in my account ? That’s never happened and I am fumming! Don’t use this app honestly and customer service isn’t even here to help with anything .”

“I really wanted to like this app. I even have the subscription since I use uber on a regular to travel to work. Both apps are getting worse by the minute . I am unable to get a refund/compensation on my uber eats orders when the driver or the restaurant messes up on my order. At times they didn't give what I ordered or my order is damaged due to something spilling. How am I not eligible to get some sort of compensation when it wasn't my fault ? This is a multi millionaire company who does not take this into consideration. Horrible business , horrible app, horrible customer service. Don't use this app you are better off using the other delivery apps or just calling the restaurant. Good luck to those who continue to use this app. I know I won't after 5 years”

“Placed a 1 item order and the driver who decided to pick it up took his sweet ass time. Sat in his car for 30 minutes didn’t move. Then my phone popped up a message to review my tip to them. I never tip at the beginning, only when I receive my order. At the last minute he decided not to pick up my order and cancelled his pick up, I waited an hour already and now I’m with costumer service complaining about this driver they employ. Zero ethics or morals. Drivers name is Jashanpreet. Car: Honda Fit Plate # : VB611R You see this guy accept your order. Juts cancel it because you won’t get good or any service from this little POS.”

“Uber Eats in Santa Rosa Beach FL does not deserve a 1 star. I had to make a selection to leave a review. I spoke with 3 agents and was told they would not give me a refund. Their policy is to comment within 48 hours and mine was less than 24 hours. I provided a copy of the charge and they still would not give me a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and was ignored. I will be contacting my bank on 12/26 and filing a fraudulent charge.”

“Lifelong customer. Spent thousands and thousands on them over years. Uber One member for 2+ years. After sending me many promos, I decided to use one... They SNATCHED it away from me as I clicked "Place Order" and FORCED me to pay FULL price. Contacted immediately, on hold for over an hour. Told to wait. WEEKS later I'm told that due to technical issues they will close the ticket with absolutely NO help or solution. After I reached back out, I was lied to. Told that the promo did not apply to THAT restaurant. Except... I used the SAME promo at the SAME restaurant just THREE days prior. After THAT, he got back to me saying. "Yeah, you're right, I was misinformed"... Then proceeded to say Oh well, too bad. You get nothing. Our mistake is YOUR cost. Cancelled Uber One and will permanently boycott the company. They've devolved into a scam corporation with NO customer service.... They were not this way before COVID. If they ever reach back out and make it right, I'll go back to them and remove the bad review... In the meantime... I would remind people that they can dispute a charge through their credit card company and their bank.”

The driver picked order never delivered order say he was on property I walked the property an text back and forth for 35 minutes timer even lapsed he never show while texting I was outside waiting in middle of conversation he say he can’t find gps and then put delivered. I call them they never try for me only conclusion no refund. I cancel there service immediately an I had just signed up two days ago”

“We ordered food and the UberEATS driver picked up our order…there was a long delay and the app showed the driver not moving, not leaving the restaurant. Shortly after the ETA had passed I get an alert that my order had been CANCELLED. I had to call the restaurant to figure out what happened. The workers told me the driver picked up our order and then got in the car and cancelled our order (the restaurant got the same cancel message). The worker said it’s happened to them 3 times by UberEATS drivers. The restaurant was willing to offer a free pizza and wings even though it was not their fault at all. When I finally got ahold of UberEATS customer service through the App (no doubt AI, not any kind of actual intelligent human) they told me they were willing to give a $10 credit. $10 for me having to order food from a different place and then go out and get it (much later than we expected or wanted to eat) because UberEATS cancelled out order. I called customer service and explained the whole situation, to a real human being this time, after quite a lengthy conversation they were unwilling to give any more than the $10 credit. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.”

“Most disgusting company I've ever had to deal with. I am part of Uber one, on two occasions now you've credited my account due to mistakes made by yourself (as your promise to your Uber one customers). The first £5 was credited because items were out of stock and my order was cancelled and the second time was due to the order taking too long so I had £10 in my Uber cash pot. I placed an order and used £5 of this cash towards the order but upon looking at the invoice the £5 wasn't actually credited to the order it was just stolen from my cash pot. I messaged you about it and you relied you have 'decided not to give me the £5 anymore'!!!!!! I've then been to check my account today and it appears the other £5 has now been taken as well. You make promises to your customers when part or Uber one but then decide afterwards you don't want to give them the credit promised? If you didn't want to give it dont make the promise and don't give it. But the fact you've put it into my account and then stolen it back is absolutely disgusting. This will be going to consumer rights and I'll be contacting citizens advice of where I stand with this as in my eyes it's theft of my money you had already given me then decided to take back for no apparent reason or explanation from yourselves. I will be boycotting everything to do with Uber and will not stop until resolved. I've emailed them directly and as you can see from pictures they just ask me the same question on repeat, almost like tbere laughing at me!!!!”

“Do not use this company, well known thieving gets, ordered food, the driver took photo of there dashboard and said food was on the step. Uber support say not entitled to a refund and no replacement food to be sent. Uber support staff were horrendously rude, mcdonalds staff say uber drivers have been stealing a lot and once orders have left the restaurant its down to uber.”

“Do not even consider to use Uber eats!!! They are always late and all you might eventually expect is cold food delivered late. The drivers never respond calls or chat. Uber eats can sometimes assign 3 or 4 drivers to your order but each of them may cancel the delivery after 10-20 minutes. Stay away from the cheats!”

“Zero stars if possible. Ordered a cake from Dairy Queen, cake was not even an item they offered. Manager called and told me to cancel through the app. I did that immediately. Uber Eats still kept my $30 claiming to be fair to the merchant who started to prepare my order. Which is BS, no order was able to even be prepared per their manager who I spoke with. Dairy Queen didn't get paid, I got robbed $30 and Uber kept the $$. Scam scam scam. Then they start telling you on the phone, and the app, that they won't discuss your order anymore, you have reached the maximum attempts. I obviously will never use them again, and let anyone who I see attempting to use them, to be ware of their scamming nature.”

“Absolutely not recommend this company. They legally rob people. I ordered food through grocery Asda shop for £58.77.My address was incomplete as there was no house number. Still, the driver was posted to a street name with no house number 😂. Understandably, the driver could not find me and canceled my order. Uber eats WON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY. Totally scrap compan. One can understand that they charge for delivery and packing, but incredibly they charge for the entire purchase that was not delivered. “I was watching the map with the driver delivering (8 mins away), he then seemed to be going the wrong way (became 12 mins), then went back to the outlet (still 12 mins), then suddenly Uber Eats cancel the order and have refused to refund me. Absolute theives. STAY AWAY, unless you are OK losing your money.”
