“Absolutely the worst insurance company I've ever had the displeasure to speak with. I bought the insurance through top cash back. But after buying and receiving a cleverly worded email giving them permission to add charges for every little discrepancy, I read the reviews. They tried to add £125 of charges for having the date of a non fault crash wrong by a single day. I bought the insurance on Saturday, tried to cancel first thing Sunday morning but was told not to and to wait for the total fee before deciding, they gaurenteed I would be given this within 90 minutes. They called the next day to say if I now cancel I will also have to pay the admin costs for the changes plus the cancellation fee as they had changed the policy already. I advised I would take this to the financial ombudsmen. They redcuded the fee to £75. STILL FEEL ROBBED BY THESE CON ARTISTS. I asked them why they have such bad reviews all saying the same thing and they advised these are just unhappy customers.”

“Awful experience the lady on the phone was extremely rude to the point I cancelled the insurance. I would rather loose my deposit and pay a fee than be a customer to a company like this. Definitely avoid. They take your money and then demand more after the agreement, then tell you your not actually insured. I was driving around all weekend with children unaware that they stoped insurance until I paid more. I was left with no insurance and needed to take my children to school the next day. complete disgrace and Im still waiting for a refund for some of the money back. I had to pay to cancel even though it was in the 14 day cooling off”

“Changed my address and they would not give me a reviewed quote on my policy so i found a cheaper one and now they want over 700 pounds for the cancellation. I'm gonna have to take them to court on this. STAY AWAY”

“Worse company ever. You first accept a policy and pay online thinking that's it but nope, they then go through your details to then artificially "score" you (no idea what rating system they use) to tell you, you can no longer take the policy unless you pay X amount more. I decided to in fact just go ahead (the rush tactic) but later wanted to cancel during the cool off period. I was then charged £75 fee for this cancellation and didn't get my money back until over 30 days had passed (so they hold onto your money!). Avoid. Even if it means paying a little more for your policy elsewhere.”

“Just had exactly the same scam pulled on me which made me question if it is a scam company. They give you a price through comparison then call you back with a different price. But before doing so take the original amount from your account. I refused the increased offer but found they have debited my account. Then its a 7 to 10 wait for a refund minus their costs? What costs, no agreement was made. Be very careful with this company that's all I can say I'll come back and add more when I see how much they scam off me”

“Someone should call the police on these people they steal your money deposits by increasing the premium after you have paid in the full knowledge 9 out of 10 people will refuse to pay the extortionate re evaluated price and then charge you £75 to try and get your money back, whist everyone's deposit money is held in their account for 30 days to earn interest. Hence they tell you 30 working days for refund less £75.”

“Appalling customer service it took 4 calls to resurrect my issue as your call handlers kept disconnecting the call with no explanation so after going through the same information 4 times in 10minutes I was finally fobbed off yet again I will never use this company again in future and will highly recommend my friends and family to avoid aswell I hope all future conversations do not turn out to be the same And the matter of my having my car taken due to you error will be corrected and I won’t be out of pocket a further £200+ which I am currently”

“Unfortunately as a existing customer I can't get quotation for my recently purchased vehicle because of some technical problems, for me it's affecting my job, family finances as well because have to buy short term insurance every day because been promised multiple times buy customer service that it will be sorted within few hours.”

“Spoke to Alex from U Drive Cover. Approx 15:25 - 15:30 Literally rang up to ask for a quote. Was dealt with a rude and arrogant customer service advisor. Asking questions is important however he was very unprofessional and rude, talked over me. Stay away from this company unless you want your time wasted.”

“If I could give this company 0 stars I would absoloutly usless i really wouldn't waste your money with them customer service is non existent they have little care for their paying customers ... avoid like the plague CONFUSED .COM you should be embarrassed to have them on their list of trusted providers its totally beguiling as we only find out of their terrible record after we've been had CONFUSED. COM with all of their money and advertisements you are really letting your costumers down and I will be following this up with yourselves”
