“This is my second review, as 6 months later I gave still not received my item. Every week, they update the delivery to next week. And I gave accepted the fact I will never receive the top I purchased with my hard earned money. It's been a very sad experience and whoever runs this business should hang their head in shame. At the end of the day you have to believe what goes around comes around. Another point to those of you who are debating whether to buy from this fraudulent company, why do you think they gave stopped all comments to posts on instagram. They are disguising the truth from all their followers. Please do not not buy and make the same mistake so many of us have made. I hope this review stops just one person purchasing from this store.”
“I have had serious issues with CHASING UNICORNS BYRON BAY what they do is send you items different to the pictures in size colour an design you are at fault for buying from them in their eyes order a particular size they will give you the opposite once you ask a question regarding the problem they block your email and phone number.....Fair Trading and Afterpay are not impressed with this brand as there has been too many complaints I received a call form Fair Trading I will receive a refund I replied I don't care abut the refund anymore it is the principal of stopping this brand from continuing to do this anymore!!! we need to stick together its the only brand I have ever had serious issues with. Mez at CU is a handful of nasty laughter in her emails like we got another sucker......”
“I bought from them a few years ago. I bought a silk dress and I tried it on and it ripped. I am a small size 8. When I went to return it (I sent it back at my own expense) they said that it was because I was overweight and that they were not at fault. They then sent it back. I then reported the cause to fair trading and they took over the case. The company came to an agreement that they would refund me upon me sending it back again (at my own expense). They then did not uphold their agreement with fair trading and blocked my email etc. and sent the garment back. I would not recommend buying from this company. Fair Trading to everything they could and suggested to me not to buy anything else from Chasing Unicorns in the future.”
“It has been 9 months since I ordered and for at least three months I have been told next week is the week. It seems very poor business practice to give a date of two months from when I order and then keep saying next week when I ask and have this go on for literally months with no end in sight. All while the business keeps my money.”
“I pre-ordered a sequin jacket. The delivery time frame was given 1-3 months. It is now 6 months later. When I contacted the office to ask about delivery, I was given (what I am sure is a well rehearsed) excuse about being ethical with workmanship, having a quality service... all excuses to line their pockets. When I questioned if I was to ever receive the jacket, I was given (not asked for) a store credit.
This is fraud! Please do not buy from this company! I wish I had read the reviews first.”

“I am writing this review to warn other customers to not make the same mistake I have and purchase anything from Chasing Unicorns. All of their items are pre-ordered, and the dates provided for the pre-orders are not accurate. You could be waiting months, if not years, for your items to ship, the issue I am now facing. But that's o.k., according to Mez, it's stated in their T&Cs. So make sure you read them so you don't end in the same situation as me and countless other customers before me. Please read these reviews, it's so important that businesses like this are called out, and brought to justice. From what I understand, this has been going on for a very long time, and they are continuing to get away with it. I have taken advice and I will now be reporting the company to Fair Trade NSW. This company is fraudulent, and taking people's hard earned money. It's sad that people like this exist in the world and can sleep at night. I have emailed them at least 20 times, and I get the same automated, scripted response, 'our terms and conditions...' Please listen to our reviews. “Would give them no stars if possible. Poor business model, poor customer service, a complete lack of accountability. I have purchased from other “slow fashion” retailers who don’t seem to have any of the issues this company does. As in, they can actually deliver a product within reasonable timeframes, charge reasonable prices, and not make constant excuses as to why they cannot deliver the product. Not to mention the dodgy refund policy that forces people into store credit. Please report to NSW Fair or ACCC if you have ever tried to get a refund from this company. “I truly love Chasing Unicorns their clothing is amazing, funky, hippie, exotic and one of a kind. Don’t expect delivery overnight is not going to happen because everything is handmade in Bali.. There’s no one so far that can dress me like Sarah does period.”

The Customer Service is terrible and they refuse to assist or take responsibility for extremely expensive clothing that doesn't last. They are worse than the fast-fashion clothes they say that they're not.”

Customer service Mez will only offer a credit note even though they haven’t provided you with what you ordered. I send monthly emails asking for updates and they always respond with one excuse and then another and another. They must enjoy taking advantage of people.”

As a long time supporter of Chasing Unicorns I know that the items are pre order and that the delivery times can change. “They're a scam. I was happy to wait 3 or even 4 months for a pre-order but it's now 6 months and counting and they refuse a refund. I implore anyone in the same boat to take it up with Fair Trade NSW complaints. It's a quick and easy process and I know there are quite a few of us so please add your voice. All I'm asking for is fairness - the goods weren't delivered in a reasonable time frame so a refund should be given.
You have every right for a refund as their descriptions are false. Unless they specifically write "You may not get this garment within 8 months of purchase" - it's a lie. Well, April has nearly gone, and still no dress. And then I find out that the quality of the clothes is also an issue. So I asked for a refund. Surprise, surprise, they don’t refund! How can people sleep at night, running a business this way. So…I am going to complain to the NSW Dept of Fair Trading, and you should too…..”

Wish I had read these reviews prior to going anywhere near them. The only thing they are good at is promoting their clothes with beautiful models. CUSTOMERS BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.
