“Where do I start?
The clothes/photos are heavily filtered and so the colour is sooo different from the actual garment in real life and it's sooooo frustrating.
I ordered from them several years ago as I was a local and like to support local businesses. The customer service is a Joke! I really wanted a sold out blouse and CU said that I could buy the one the model Bee wore on the photo-shoot at a small discount and so I said yes! it had stains, it smelt like straight up mould ( no exaggeration) it was putrid! I contacted them and they were so rude and after they FINALLY agreed that I could send it back they refused to pay for the $30ish postage and of course they do not offer refunds . This was one of many issues I had with them so I stopped buying CU ( Like many other ladies I know).
So recently I gave them another go as I love some of their pieces and assumed that the customer service would now be good. It's NOT, it's just as bad!! Rude, dismissive, they LIED even though I had the evidence/proof. I ordered a black ,sheer silk blouse and received a blue NON SHEER blouse that was COMPLETELY different to the photos shown!!!!! after waiting MANY weeks for it and it was not the same I was so upset and contacted them immediately and they denied it all, said it was the same and made me pay once again for return postage only to receive a credit note and not a refund.
This is just a couple of examples, I've had several negative incidences with Chasing Unicorns. I can't believe they are still in business !!!!!!!!!!!”
“Beware of this dodgy business..
I ordered the Fly like an eagle blouse but what arrived was different to what they advertise.
They will not issue a refund and it will only cost me more to send back the item and then pick something else, although who knows what will arrive as they clearly have no problem misleading their customers.
The lace is completely different and the silk body is not a chiffon as advertised so it sits and hangs differently.
Buy at your own risk!

“WARNING...........Chasing Unicorns now have a policy, if they are forced to give you a full refund, they will ask you to repay the money to them even after Fair Trading, Paypal, and Afterpay, have made a decision to award in your favour. If you do not give her CU your credit card details or pay an invoice for zero product then you can not buy from them ever again as they cannot afford to do refunds NOTE: This is not my problem if you sell faulty false products. This will occur even years after your refund. It is highly illegal and been watched so do report it.........How and why should a business ask you to return the refund that was awarded to you and leave you out of pocket, the morals of this Sarah woman, her product is very hit and miss now so it did not concern me as there are so many other bands out there that make a similar product. “I would give no stars at all for their Customer service however you need to choose one. If you ordered from Chasing Unicorns and have revived your items that’s awesome! However, I’ve not been so lucky. Like so many I keep emailing asking where my item is only to get told it will ship by the end of the week. This has continued for weeks and the item still hasn’t been shipped. It was for a birthday gift and it’s pointless now. My experience has not been a good one.”

“What an experience, this started with a jacket that was sized incorrectly but they refused to refund and issued a credit note, with the credit I purchased a blouse, I waited months for this blouse and once it arrived it was also sized incorrectly ( for example, the sizing matched an XS on the website and I ordered a LARGE. The hem was also uneven and the quality was simply terrible ( given its $ 250+ price tag ) so again it was sent back and I was issued ANOTHER credit note. I had to take them to fair trading as this was only a snippet into the ongpong issues i had with this company but if i went through everything i would be typing all day! Unfortunately there's not a lot fair trading could do ( due to the terms and conditions) basically if it's faulty they won't refund you unless they run out of material etc etc and they can only educate them. They ( fair trading)advised to take it further ( legal aid ) but by this point I had lost my energy. Coming from a customer service background and managing clothing stores myself I am beyond mortified, the way i was treated, the lies and the condescending emails and the fact after SO many mistakes they refused to take accountability for any of it. I am gobsmacked in all honesty. Please please be warned. I am shocked they are affiliated with Spell as they are always amazing to deal with.”

“Need Advise! This company sent me a jacket and the sizing was faulty but they wouldn’t admit to it so I told me my only option was a credit note. I reluctantly used it hoping nothing bad would happen again. It wasn’t listed as a pre sale item so I wasn’t expecting a long wait. After a couple of weeks in , I emailed asking for an update - they said it will start shipping next week. Then another week went by , nothing - emailed again - the same generic response. Here i am since February with nothing and down $300! How do I get my money back ? Can anyone help?”
