Ok. I have an electrical business and spend £20,000+ per year on supplies. I Found this company online, never used them before, so placed a small order. If a company will help a customer with a small purchase, you know they’ll help with your £4000 order. Ordered an hour before cutoff, for next day delivery. Got the order email, but no shipping email. I emailed them in the evening, waiting for a reply next morning….nothing. So called them to confirm my order was coming today. Hayley answered the phone and lied straight off the bat. She obviously misunderstood my query and went on to tell me “we don’t send order confirmation emails”. Yes you do Hayley, I got that one. I’ve just not received my shipping email. She went off to check what was happening, and came back stating “we didn’t get around to sending it yesterday, so it’s being sent today, for delivery tomorrow”. Oh is it Hayley? Just like that? Not even bothering to inform me? She said she could send it for am delivery, but I’d have to speak to Mel the manager. Mel was too busy to come to the phone, and I was told I be called soon. 10 minutes later, I was called by the most rude, arrogant person, I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking too. Of course, it was manager Mel. I was simply told “it’s coming tomorrow or you can have your money back”. As simple as that. She confirmed it was coming by DHL for an am slot. She added “it’s not guaranteed to be am though”. Really Mel? It’s a guaranteed am service. 5 minutes later, shipping confirmation comes through stating a standard all day delivery. To sum up, new customer, first order, lies, arrogance, rudeness, the most shocking customer service I’ve ever experienced. They must be such a well off company, that they don’t want or need new customers. I’ll just take my £20,000-£30,000 a year back to the likes of Screwfix then, shall I?

Good morning - we have identified that the goods were damaged in transit and returned to the carriers hub, unfortunately we were not advised of this. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have actioned a full refund today.

Appalling customer service, order placed 18th March for an item quoted as being available from stock, just (17th June) rec’d 50% of order. Constant failure to answer emails for update, and still have not been given a reason for the delay.

Hi,My name is Juan carlos my costumer number USC- 22250 I have ordered 3 items from your website, the order was accepted from you so it means that you have the 3 items in stock. When I place the order the money was taking from my account straight away the amount of £ 34.21. 3 days later received an invoice With 2 items on it the invoice amount was £ 17.78 , the day I received the invoice on my email, I have replied to the email reporting that my order was 3 items, I have mentioned that it was an item missing, I have sent 3 or 4 emails with no reply, week later still not reply from you or any information that the item was out of stock, I don’t know why Univar specialty consumables didn’t inform me that it was an item missing instead you took the money from my account , i found a contact number , so I have call them to find out what happened with the order , i guy called Steve told me that the item was out of stock And will take a week before they get back in stock. So I don’t know why I have to be the one to contact you to find out what happened with the order also why are you taking my money if you don’t have it in stock. Steven contact me on the phone asking me if I want to wait or I want the refund for the item, so I said I want the refund for the items. He said that he will process the refund for me but I still haven’t received the refund. This is my first time ordering from your website and surely my last time . I know probably you won’t care about this issue, you can continue doing this with other people if you want but not with me .all I need is my refund. Thank you

We are disappointed to learn that you are unsatisfied with the service you received. I believe one of our Customer Service Team has communicated with you on 30/03 and 31/03 regarding the item. We are currently experiencing Supplier delays and unfortunately a system issue indicated we had stock of the product which was in fact not available. We do care about every one of our Customers and can assure you that the refund is being actioned today. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

After checking all stock levels before placing my order it arrived short of two of the main items required. The rest of the order was useless with out the missing items and instead of contacting me to inform me of the missing items the rest of the order was sent! Shocked and disappointed

As I am still awaiting delivery of my order only 2 of the 5 items ordered arrived to date. I tried to call the customer service number but was instantly disconnected and then tried to email customer service but my email was turned round.

Hello, to be honest my experience has been to date very bad. I placed my order and my mistake ordered the wrong brush heads. I made a phone call immediately to customer service. I was advised to reorder and a refund will be put in place for wrong order. This did not happen. I was sent out one brush heads,the wrong one, and charged for it. I'm still waiting on my correct order,after three phone calls and a number of emails.

There has been a lack of communication and confusion from first to last. If you check the email trail between me and Rebecca Harris you will see what the problems were. I have asked for a refund on the part of the order that was not delivered. To date I have not received any refund. My experience in dealing with your company has been the worst ever in 15 plus years trading on line.

Incorrect, subpar item sent. Originally arranged with cust service to keep the product in exchange for a refund of the price difference. Now I am having to ask PayPal to investigate as customer service seem to be unable to provide any immediate support and keep advising their "managers" are not proceeding. 0 star experience
