It's possible that the vehicle may not have been running at its best previously, and with the new parts, you're now experiencing the performance it's capable of. If the vehicle is tuned, in terms of fuel consumption, a clean and efficient burn should be expected with these upgrades under regular operation/driving conditions. To optimize performance, we recommend replacing the spark plugs as well, as they work hand-in-hand with the system to provide the best efficiency. “Ordered Eventuri Cold Air Intake for MK8 Golf R, received MK8 GTI instead. After two weeks of email communication, a replacement or refund was offered. No matter the choice, I would need to cover shipping (Hawai’i) Not only do I have to pay for the shipping to return the wrong product I received, I will also need to pay for the shipping of the “correct” product also. Then the replacement product that is said to be sent to me is a Eventuri Cold Air Intake for MK7.5 GTI after stating from the beginning that I ordered, as my order number details indicated, is for a MK8 Golf R. At the time of writing this, I am waiting for a response.”
