What a disgrace. Floor covered in mud when they left, brick dust not vacuumed up and boiler not working properly. Electrician didn't turn up to fit a thermostat and I have rung five times and despite them saying somebody would ring back no such luck. Avoid

Update to last post. Received the call from the supervisor they said they would make within the hour (will done again VHS, communication has improved) and he assured me the flow problem with the shower was not the boiler but the 'old' shower and that would be sorted out when we had the property upgraded, but couldn't advise as to what to do in the meantime. So it looks like upgrading to a new boiler can cause unforeseen problems to us, the consumer. So why didn't VHS mention this or indicate replacing the boiler could lead to these problems, information is key to helping us make choices and prepare for potential problems. Please take note VHS! What to do now though?

Update from my previous post. Had a call from VHS, (didn't get the name of the young lady unfortunately as she was extremely helpful) about setting up a time for the electrician to install the internet thermostat so I mentioned the problems I was having with the poor flow in the shower. She was genuinely concerned and immediately sent an email to their installation supervisor who she said would contact me today, so waiting for the call. As I said in the last post, it's about how problems and concerns are dealt with, so will update this post later.

So far, not too pleased. Minor communication problems, like saying they will phone back and don't. Now that the boiler has been fitted (all done when stated so well done) workmen left finger marks all over one wall and now the shower water flow is extremely poor. VHS guy said I needed to change the shower head. Can't really see how this would help, especially as the salesman was confident that the water flow would be perfect in our property. The text now is to see how VHS services deal with this problem. Will be back to this site to post further reviews. Problems occur but it's all about how they are dealt with!

Salesman was very quick to give me a quote and promised as I had no heating or hot water, that said boiler would be 'installed within a week'. I waited in for a whole day for a surveyor to come and survey - this was a no-show. Numerous telephone calls got me nowhere. This was rebooked for a week later with no explanation. By now I had been without heating or hot water for two weeks. I waited in another full day - finally after half a dozen telephone calls to the office with frequent apologies that someone was 'on their way', someone finally turned up at 7.30 pm that night - but only after I had threatened to take my business elsewhere. My boiler was finally installed later that week. The installers did a good job - within a day. However, they had to return three days later (after the weekend) to fit a magnafilter which was not on the van... I am waiting again for somebody to come from this completely inept company to 'assess' the boiler and finish off the electrics. DO NOT USE THIS INEPT COMPANY. I have never dealt with a company so inept in my life. The office does not seem to have a clue what is happening on the ground. AVOID

If i could leave a minus points score i would. Shocking company and shocking service. Bunch of incompetent fools and cowboys. Stay well clear and save yourself heartache.

When I had to change my boiler, it's a major decision my wife and I had to make, not just the cost, but disturbance and running cost. I contacted Valley Heating Services and discussed our options over the phone. Then a nice man visited at the time we specified and talked both of us through the whole process. What we did like was the Vaillant Boiler which we think is the best type and they rinse the radiators, fit a filter and do water samples to make sure our system is clean. The fitters turned up at the time they said and changed the boiler within the day with no mess. Thanks Valley heating services, we would strongly recommend your services.
