Bought Vax pace pet cordless vacuum 3 months ago, and the corrugated tube on the end tool part just split in half. Bizarre! Possibly it was a faulty dry plastic because wasn't much flexible, but now I don't trust Vax anymore. Unfortunately, it was a very bad purchase. Disappointed , Will search for help now

Although carpet cleaner itself was ok when it went wrong out of warranty I was unable to get it repaired as the part that went wrong was apparently not repairable I hadn't used the item more than 6 times. Definitely would not buy a Vax carpet cleaner again.

Vax Airstretch Max. Was working really well until one of the small front rollers shed its rubber sleeve. No problem I thought.....ring them up and order a spare part. System says 'No'. I'll have to take it to an approved repairer and leave it there for two weeks.

I bought a VAXONEPWR in November 2022. 13 months later the battery is dead. Tried customer support chat and was told battery only guaranteed for one year, and given the link - £80 for a new battery. What a rip off, I may as well buy a new vacuum and guaranteed it won’t be a VAX

I have tried to talk to a person not a machine, I have tried several times and just get an annoying message or cut off. All I need is to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about ref your machine. Not very happy with your customer service. What is the point of recording all phone calls

The product in my view is really badly designed and doesn't do what it needs to do. Have contacted them for a refund because with a design problem it's not something that can be repaired unless the machine were stripped right down and rebuilt with different design parts. Like a previous poster I've received the "as it has been more than 21 days since receipt" it can't be refunded nonsense. Anything to avoid giving a refund I feel. Looks as if there must be a lot of people wanting to return goods if this is how defensive they are. Nonsense answers. For ample the hose which is really hard to fit - they say will get easier with repeated fitting. But there won't be repeated fitting if it won't go on in the first place and the machine just rolls away backwards. The "quick clean" mode only delivers water to half the width of the rollers. It doesn't spread across. So you need to go over the carpet twice as many times as you should. Vax seem to think this is a benefit. Can't see them saying that if their lawnmower mowed half-stripes, half cut half not. I used to have a Bissell which gave many years good service till it eventually wore out. I'd give Vax a berth that's a lot wider than the half-stripe washed by their machine if I were looking to buy again. Can't think why the mags that gave good reviews did so.

Unlike many I'm actually quite pleased with my Vax - it's a corded version. I ordered an extension flexible hose so I could vacuum right up the stairs, but they sent me the wrong one which wouldn't fit my machine - despite their website saying the one I ordered was compatible with my machine's model. I waited like so many to speak to someone, who told me she didn't think accessories could be returned, then I was cut off halfway through a sentence. I tried again, long wait again, but eventually spoke to someone more helpful who emailed me a form to fill in and a freepost address. I wrote the freepost number on the parcel but the post office said they couldn't process it without some sort of a bar code to scan. I tried phoning again but kept being cut off. Tried emailing several times, just got a general fob-off email asking all sorts of details I'd already given (do you see a pattern here?) but not getting back to me. I've decided to pay the postage myself for the wrong item and have asked them to refund my postage, but I'm not holding my breath.

Pretty long winded but I purchased a vax rapid carpet washer about the end of November last year and it was great . However just before the year was up it started leaking badly . I contacted vax who requested proof of purchase . As it was over a year since then I had to contact very where I bought it from and they were very helpful ,sending me my proof of purchase within 5 days . I forwarded this to vax on 3rd December . I received reply 2 days later saying they would send me a returns label and asked me to return the vax in the original box if possible . Like I kept the box for a year . While waiting for the returns label we unscrewed the bottom ,found the faulty part and purchased replacement on e Bay as the part wasn't on the vax website . Part arrived put in place cleaner works fine . Advised vax and asked if they would reimburse cost of part . They replied that they had no record of me buying the part to which I said that's because you don't sell them so I bought it from eBay . No response after 2 weeks so I e mailed again saying I was disappointed not to get a reply . I then got a reply saying sorry you have not received a returns label I will send another . I said I don't want to return it because I fixed it . I just want to know if you will pay for the part . Reply received after 5 days 4 of which were bank Holidays . Sorry we can't reimburse you because you didn't buy the part from us . Complete waste of money time . P.s. the part cost £14.99. Would have cost more to have it sent back to them ,repaired and then returned to me

I have a serious operational problem with my Vax vacuum cleaner. I contacted the company as instructed by the retailer argos. Vax requested the model number and serial number. I provided these details. Vax then asked about the fault. I emailed them with the information. I've heard nothing more from them, despite emailing them for an update upon several occasions, still no reply. :-(( Not good customer service on returns, only when taking your money!

Sad to write a review about the Vax steam fresh plus s84-w7-p steam mop I upgraded from the vax steam fresh combi after having it for less than 24 hours bought from Curry’s. Both machine are useless the first machine doesn’t steam the floor it soaks the floor, you might as well use a mop n bucket. The second machine comes with only two tools nd the detachable hand held unit is very heavy and bulky to hold, difficult to change tools over for different use, no attachment for window or blinds you have to buy as extra I wouldn’t buy again or recommend to anyone as it would be a serious waste of money to purchase this item. It claims to come with a wall bracket but it is only a support bracket that you can rest the steamer in as it doesn’t grasp the machine at all. Also the steamer falls over it has no locking mechanism to make it stand up on its own so all you can do is prop it up against something or lay it on the floor very poorly made for a hundred pound seriously save your money and invest in something less frustrating than a vax steam fresh plus

I'm not entirely happy with my Blade 2. Doesn't pick up bits, I dislike using it on my staircase because the head's unstable and moves from side to side. Dissatisfied 2/10

Had my blade 2 for less than a year and lucky to get 10 minutes out of it on a full charge. Rubbish vacuum wish I'd bought a dyson. Also forever taking the roller out to remove hairs. Cannot recommend this at all

On first use it picked up cat hairs; not since. Dust container emptying is a messy business as dust flies everywhere, you have to poke out compacted dust, and the container remains dusty with dffcult to access corners. The charge isn’t holdng for 45 minutes anymore. It’s hard work and I think I refer my old, more traditional cleaner
