“I bought a Vax Blade 4 pet cordless vacuum just over a year ago, with three year warranty. The brush head failed recently and I contacted Vax. They said the brush wasn't covered by the warranty. When I explained the brush wasn't the problem, the motor was, they said I was pressing the wrong buttons. I purchased a replacement head as I couldn't afford to be without a working cleaner whilst i argued the toss. It all works well now. They should have replaced this under warranty but their after sales service is disgraceful. I will never but another Vax product although when it is working the cleaner is effective.”
“Bought Vax platinum carpet cleaner. It seems to have a design fault. The float in the dirty water tank is too light; it stops the suction with no water in the tank. I needed to add extra weight to it to stop it being sucked up to the closed position with just the sir flow through the tank. Otherwise it's a good machine. Get this right Vax and you have a winner.”

You then know straight away they are looking for a get out
5 year warranty is worthless with with lots of clauses to stop them having to honour claims
And the reason I bought the cleaner was the 5 year warranty
Standard answer ware and tare after 2 years
And that’s not even inspecting it
Do yourselves a favour but from another company
