Very wasn’t helpful at all on the line they don’t listen to their customer it’s like they ignored what I said and have manual almost robotic answers that didn’t answer the question very angry and unsatisfied with the lack of knowledge of these people might as well been talking to a brick wall

If you ever decide to open a account with Very then I advise you to steer CLEAR from this company and looking at the reviews I can see i'm not the only one who has experienced similar issues. I brought some headphones and a watch from Very, within a few months the headphones stopped working in a few months. I had a warranty so they advised me to contact Apple to get a replacement due to them being a manufacture default, within 1 month they broke again with the same fault. For this reason I decided to get a refund on the order as its proven it's not a reliable product. I was advised by Very via phonecall that I have to get them replaced with Apple again and then i can chose to either keep them or refund them but she made it clear that is the procedure and rules of their company to take. After I got the replacement from Apple I went to call Very and I sent them back but was sent back to me because apparently there was a missing item. Of course i was confused as to why this was the case so I called very and they said the serial code didn't match. I was even more confused and explained of course it didn't because they were replaced so the serial code wouldn't match the original one. well long story short after talking to numerous of their customer service representative (probably more than 30 odd people) some of which were promised I would get a call back regarding the situation but never did even after going through the complaints team no one ever got back to me with a resolution. It was just round and round in circles explaining my situation over and over again. I ended up getting a £50 voucher which is unacceptable because I couldn't return a product due to a caller advising me the wrong thing. This has been months of aggravation and stress and I cannot stress how bad this company is. I really wish for people to read these reviews first before joining very. I would be sure to post this comment everywhere

Do not use this company. Their business practises border on the absolute fraudulent! Complaints in progress with the Financial Conduct Authority etc. Also never give out personal information if you have the misfortune of dealing with one of their dogs that work in the South African call centre they are all scammers and fraudsters be warned!

This Company has gone from bad to worst. I had my account with these Jokers. rude, unhelpful and plain don't care about their loyal customers for over 9 years. Direct debit was always setup but 1 month last year for some reason the direct debit payed but returned, phoned my Bank to find out why, Bank told me Very returned the payment. I phoned very after speaking to Bank and made the first ever debit card payment because direct debit was always how I paid. Little did I know, Very have now put a one day late payment charge on my credit file in March 2018 I have several credit agreements spanning 16 years and never paid late or missed a payment yet they refuse to remove this negative mark. I have now paid my balance in full and closed my account. (Good Riddance)

Cannot be trusted. I selected NO marketing, they sent marketing by email and text. I contacted them to close account immediately (I was within the 14 days cooling off period). had to tell them 3 times to close my account and delete all my details. They have finally said they have closed my account BUT I can still log into whenever I need to. And the credit agreement is still open! So they have not deleted my details at all.After several complaints I have now reported them to the Data Protection Officer and Trading Standards.

Faulty Apple MacBook purchased. Seemed irreparable by Apple Technician. Refund was due to be given as advised by Very agent. 14 days period came and went which was when they should have issued refund. One week later the faulty MacBook is posted back to me. Horrendous service which feels deliberate attempt at delaying refund process on a high value item which has left me out of pocket. Would never buy an electrical them again and would advise others who do to beware. Best to go straight to manufacturer in my opinion.

Terrible customer service most of the idiot staff South Africa rude no manager in office rude cut me off 5 hours never once spotted that i have insurance so kept saying would not replace if I could would give minus 5 star don’t ever use them as the staff are not trained well i have disabilities and the company do not care please go elsewhere

This company does not deserve even one star. They took 3 months to follow up a complaint. They have ZERO respect for their customers. VERY high interest Cheaper to shop elsewhere AVOID AVOID AVOID

I would seriously rate this company as a zero if I could. It’s the first time I’ve used the company and will definitely be the last. I have never had so many problems when using a company. I made an order the end of December. When due to be delivered they were unable to due to the truck being unable to get down the lane which was Colearly on the delivery instructions. I then chased up when delivery would be for almost a week to be told it would be another week before they could deliver. I then cancelled my order and asked for a full refund. 5 working days later no refund so contacted customer services again to be told it would be 10 days. 10 working days and still hadn’t got a refund. Contacted customer services again who said that the request for a refund had only just gone in and would take a further 10 days. Asked to speak to a manager who was in a meeting and told they would call me back. This never happened. Finally got my refund but was without a lot of chasing, stress and frustration. Will never use this company again.

Disgusting customer service, spoke to no less than 8 people this morning to be cut off each time I said I wanted to speak to a manger then finally someone went to get manager and came back with the usual rubbish of they all in a meeting, think people are stupid insulting my Intelligence. I have now spent around 2 hours on the phone in 2 of my days off trying to sort a delivery, I have been a customer for years but will never spend another penny and will be closing my account. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM VERY IS MY ADVICE!!

Truly the worst customer service i have ever had to deal with and send you round in circles never actually dealing with your complaint. I placed an order and it gave delivery dates, these dates came and no delivery on checking the order it said processing still. Contacted customer service and was told it marked the order as a credit thing but had to be incorrect as I had plenty of credit. He went off to another department returned saying items were out of stock so I just had to wait. Odd as I could still order the items but i agreed and waited. Another week past so I contacted again. This time through to another department and was told the order had not processed correctly and I had to try again by this time some of my items had sold out so could not get them. On explaining my frustration at this I was basically made to feel like I was wrong for questioning the last customer service agent and he probably just didn't know the system as well as this one did. How is that my problem and he shouldn't just fob me off with an in correct answer making me wait and obviously just did not want to deal with me. Have made a complaint since and still going round in circles even giving the order reference number they talk about the wrong order and say somehow with me going through the complaints section I am in the spring department when trying to make a complaint. Truly awful they have no clue about their jobs or systems

Terrible service, placed an order of a wardrobe that was listed in stock & was informed of delivery date on placing order. No show of item on day of delivery, contacted VERY only to be told the item was out of stock, told delivery would take additional 7-14 days , I checked website & item still shown as in stock, decided to cancel my order. I was told I would receive a refund in 24-36 hours, refund did not arrive, contacted again, was told refund would be 3-5 days, again no refund, contacted again, was told refund would take 7-10 days, & yip, still no refund, I’m at day 14 now & still awaiting a refund. Completely unacceptable, contacted to discuss with customer servises & was told I could only complain in writing via the website which I did & no response to date. Avoid this company, false advertising of availability of stock & if you do require a refund or cancel your order it’s a struggle to get your money back.

After being a long standing customer with Very for over 8 years, I have experienced the worst customer services in my life. An issue which is still ongoing if anyone from Very can be bothered to get back to me. I've raised numerous complaints online, with the offshore call centre and I have now written a letter. I'm yet to receive a reply. Faulty laptop was supposed to be collected and repaired or refunded. They haven't done either! After too many failed attempts to collect it was eventually collected and returned to me still faulty!!! I've never been so angry with a company! I will be paying the balance and closing my account. I don't know what happened but they used to be great. Very, very disappointing.

I ordered last week a stroller Oyster its on sale £65 and received just some parts like a cushion a cover its a bag with only bits I called to make it clear as I know what I order for sure of course she only helped to do a return but waste my time and money as I am not buying again fron your place. I have no stroller at all so now have to order again wait again a week perhaps, its a nightmare. I DONT RECOMMEND VERY AT ALL!!!

I brought a psvr for £161.99 for my kids for Christmas thinking i can pay it of with take 3 but because i didn't understand take 3 i paid £50 on the 5th of jan 2019 thinking i would only have to pay the extra for that month but im being told because i paid it before my statement ive got to pay another £40 of my bill because i paid early now i thought because i paid early was a good thing but the company is punishing me for paying my bill early by charging me another £40 of my bill the customer service people are very rude and act like they got better things to do then talk to customers and mangers put you on hold without telling you while your talking to them it really feels like the company are doing it to get you into debut so they can make more money of you with interested i would not recommend this company AVIOD at all cost because they will get you in debut on purpose DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AVOID THEM

Not even worth the one star what a disgraceful company stay well clear of this horrible theifing scumbags never dealt with a company that has such bad customer service and are not willing to help with account discrepancys close your accounts down asap

I ordered a Samsung fridge freezer from Very that had a cash back offer from Samsung. You needed to send the serial number of the fridge 60 days after purchase. Needless to say Very couldn't make the 60 day delivery period and wouldn't cover the £300 Samsung offer. They also cancelled my order without any reason or notification. Customer services varies and be prepared for some very thick accents that make communication, at times, very difficult. The last person that I spoke didn't seem to think that very needed to contact me about cancelling my order and seemed very demanding and rude.
