Need to change the location of the customer service from south africa, i could not collect an item bc it got mixed up with another item so the store would not give me it . I went on the chat line 40 minutes so slow to reply put on to the tracking team told me to phone click and collect i phoned that number but its a dead line. Next day I phoned customer service talked to Wanda who said i would have to go to the store and wait for her to ring me ?! I wasn’t happy about i asked her if i could speak to a manager but she said this was verys policy as I couldn’t understand why very couldn’t ring the store and ask what happened? So again the next day she phoned me at my home i went to the store waited for her to phone shephoned told me to hold theline as she was phoning the tracking team thy could not get through to the store twice but eventually did only to tell me that the item wasnt there . In the name of god its crazy im standing in a packed spar looking at the assistant who served me that day and wanda tells me to get s seat when i complained about the wait ?? Get in line or get a seat madam such empathy its beyond disrespectful . So next day I phoned customer service another rude assistant i told her i wanted to make a complaint so i told her that very should have phoned the store beforehand as i had to wait in that store on a phone for 15 mins no sympathy whatsoever she told me what do you expect madam the driver to wait for you to come to get your collection in a thick south african accent she must think its the last store in the world that o need to buy from?! Then she told me to complain on line which i did only fr them to apologise and give me the dud click and collect number so as i could make a complaint to them when very should have been doing this because thy are the sellers and should take responsibility. I have now written to their complaints dept mayb i will get some where but customers should never be treated this way under any circumstances. So thy need to change the click Nd collect service because i wont be using it or very again and i have been a customer for a few years. And im still getting messages that the parcel is ready to be collected with no explanation to what happened so it was there all along so i hD to do all this for nothing and received this terrible customer service. Dont use very until thy improve all their services

Dont even want to give VERY 1 star! Do not order anything from them. I ordered Black Ops 4 game for my son for Christmas. Had an email & a text from Yodel to say it had been delivered. Well I had been up for 2 hours and no one had come to my door. No note to say where it had been left or with a neighbour as it requires a signature. Phone Yodel, they said they had to wait 24hrs to INTERVEIW the driver before they could tell me where it was. I then phoned VERY who said they will refund me and then take payment to buy again there and then....um, no I dont think so. So now I have to wait until I receive the money back from VERY before I can go and buy it myself. STAY AWAY!!

Shocking company. Had a Shop Direct account with Very and Littlewoods and have never been so disappointed and unsatisfied with the service from both companies. There's far too much to write but this company will take your money but not allow you to purchase any more items due to money not showing in account. My money got taken from my bank account and went to Very's account but they could not locate it. Over 24 hours later and the money is still not on my account. I trued to buy an Xbox for my 6 year old but can't because Very does not know where my money went. They then reduce my credit limit for no reason making it even more difficuilt to buy anuything. I have spoken to over 6 different advisors and been hung up over 3 times. Not one advisor has a clue and they all give you conflicting information. Company rips you off and expects weekly payments even though most customers are salaried and get paid monthly. Just a con to charge customers even more due to late payments and interest comes off just when ever suits without any prior notification, again, to get more money out of customers. Company is shocking and anyone with sense will boycott this mickey mouse organisation.

If I could put 0 stars I would. website let me buy a washing machine 3 times and the 3 times that it didn’t come on 3 on going weeks I phoned up and they told me it had went out of stock. they then told me to order another so I did and that’s where the other 2 come from on the 3 on going weeks. Never Again will I use this site !!!!

I thought I had paid the amount in full, then had to pay ridiculous interest. Customer service unhelpful. Tried to pay the new full amount again, system faltered which is why I thought it had been paid in the first place. Teach me to check my bank statement and not to use interest free sites. Sick of them sending emails and encouraging me to take out credit. All sympathy that people get tied into payment interest they have no hope of paying.

Ordered item and paid for next day delivery. 3 days later still hasn't arrived. Phoned them and they said it will be back in stock on Tuesday and delivery on Wednesday. On Friday evening phoned them again and NO, still not send. I wasted almost 2 weeks and they kept my £200 for 2 weeks.

Buy now pay later is an absolute joke. I will never recommend very. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Absolute jokers! I have wasted so much time with Very, my account was frozen online and was told to call customer service,. When I called customer service they said they couldn't find an account so to open a new one. I said I was in my account and just needed help - there was no help (they just hung up!) So I did open a new account, applied for the credit, got approved, placed an order on the Take 3 method. I paid in 1/3 and a day later they cancelled the order and froze the account again. When I called they said they had no further details and I could not use the credit facility. END OF! The customer service is non-existent! AVOID

I have had the account for a year now and about 6/7 times out of the 12 months they have taken my payment and it leaves my bank then something happens their end and the money comes back in my account but I don’t get notified and I get charged for interest and a mark on my name for late payment. This week I made sure I made the payment 5 days early and because we really want the account closed both me and my partner made separate payments. We got emails accepting payment but neither payments came off our account even though the money has left my bank. I phoned up they told me to try paying again I questioned this as I had already paid but they said I would get it back. I made another payment it still hasn’t come off my account. The final payment date was yesterday and in total I made payments of £90 and none of them have come off my very account and they have now charges me interest for no payment even though I have made 4 separate payments. I tried speaking to someone again and they hung up on me. I spoke to someone on live chat and they said it’s being investigated but they can’t take the late payment charge off. So even though I’ve done my part and they have made a huge mistake they charge me. I have reported them to my solicitor and going to speak to the financial ombudsman as I’m sure what they are doing is illegal. Please never shop with very

I ordered a Xbox One X and it was great to start with it was delivered the following day and looked in immaculate condition, not only to turn it on and begin my experience with a system error...turned it off and then I was logged in to a complete strangers profile, downloading their previous games and so on. Got on the phone to Very just to hear a guy say erm about 20 times and just being totally unhelpful. I’ve returned it and will not be paying the amount they are asking off me. They clearly don’t check what they are sending out as they had brand new accessories with the Xbox. Totally not worth the risk and will not be using this company again.

Poor experience from purchase to delivery. Arrived late disappointing my 9 year old boy on his birthday. Customer service VERY rude & unhelpful. Customer complaints promise gesture of good will by way of apology which is not honoured. I have wasted enough of my life dealing with this company. Will not use again. VERY VERY POOR

I will never shop with Very again and advise anyone else to avoid this company at all costs. The customer service team is based in South Africa. Whilst they are polite on the phone they do not do what they say. They have charged me for one fridge twice and despite evidence that I do not owe them money they refuse to accept the evidence they are presented with, insisting that Mastercard will reveal something different about my account than what I can see. They waste everyone's time except their own because clearly they do not care about the customer. It is the worst website and customer service I have ever come across. They make the customer run round in circles and continuously ask the same questions, despite having the answers. Basically they are useless and would advise everyone to steer clear of this company.

Who all this people who gives 5 star score to Very???Really , the company is awful , don't understand how they do profit , been sold twice sport watch and twice couldn't get product to be delivered , twice they told me that its been lost ( Karl, twice been lost!!!@)most funny thing that I made another order for same product and guess what, same tracking number , same problem))) great job

Bought Tv which turned out to be faulty, contacted very who passed me over to the manufacture of the TV to deal with it? told they would send out a repair engineer who arrived to be told it needed a new part and he would have to take the TV away. Informed it be away for 5 days. 5 days pass still no TV called repair company to be fobbed off with poor excuses ie: part not in stock to part getting shipped, to courier has the part? then contacted very to inform them after all I bought TV direct from them to be told by an online agent that it takes 14 to 21 days to do a repair, them he tells me the parts with the repair company and tv would be out to my address in the next 48 hours as they just called the repair company which was another lie as he didnt have me on hold long enough o speak to them. nearly 4 weeks have pasted and no one from verys complaint department has called me to resolve the matter told lie after lie from this company, customer service is a disgrace. they have a cheek to say I'm a VIP customer but they treat me like this. hate to see how the treat there none VIP customers? Have now spoken to trading standards and watchdog regarding the matter and now gong to seek legal advise as this company dont care they get your money and that's it. if I dont pay they contact me in a second I bet. Told they call me still no one calls. liars liars liars.

If I could score nil I would do, tried to buy a couple of small items with a visa debit card which would have meant a cash sale,however it kept pushing me to a credit agreement and asked the most intrusive questions which I was not willing to answer. So won't be using them again. BEWARE!!!! Even writing this review can't be done without them being able to trace it.

As with most of the 11,000+ reviews here I can honestly say Very/Littlewoods/shopdirect are without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. Customer service here is more like customer contempt. I wish I had never purchased anything from these clowns, as a result my impeccable credit rating has been seriously impacted. I bought a dishwasher from Very.co.uk. Was the cheapest price I could find and they offered by now pay later. Why not I thought, that was my first mistake. In the first month I received a letter saying that a payment was due on my account, strange I thought - BNPL shouldn't have meant a payment was due. Anyway, made a payment. Next month, same again. Called Very and asked the adviser why I was being asked for payment on a BNPL purchase, no idea said the adviser, you shouldn't have been asked for a payment. Next month, same again. Made another payment. Next month I got a letter saying a charge had been applied. Called again, got bounced around, no one could explain why. Adviser lodged a complaint on my behalf. Next day a rude, abrupt woman calls me and said I didn't make a payment to the right 'part' of the account, I'd made a payment to the BNPL part of the account and not to the part where the delivery charge had been applied. So despite having one a account, one account number and having made payment to BNPL as that was the terms on which i had made the purchase I was supposed to know there were 'sub accounts' within my account. The UX of the website is unclear, none of the letters outlined this and none of the advisors could explain it to me. Even though I had inadvertently paid £40 to non-interest bearing parts of the account the rude woman thought I was dodging the £7 that did incur interest. Her advice was contact the financial ombudsman. This tail goes on and on, numerous calls. Refusal to close my account when I fully paid it up. 57 day response times to complaints that are never resolved anyway. It's a long boring tale but the upshot is my previously very good credit score has been ruined and they don't care. I could not discribe accurately what a shower of excrement this company is. Best thing is they have a 'Customer Excellence' team. Jokers. What an oxymoron that is. It is my opinion that they deliberately obscure this BNPL / delivery charge thing to enable them to charge customers as a racket to make more money and they think nothing of wrecking people's credit rating. Any complaints result in their advice being to take it to the Ombudsman. They don't care about customers and need investigation by Trading Standards, Watchdog and The Hague
