I bought GHD straighteners in Sept 2016, they stopped working in Feb 2017. Tried to use on line customer service several times but mostly unavailable due to high demand. When i eventually got an advisor, they assured me they would email me my proof of purchase for the manufacturer. 4 days later and still no sign, tried again and again was assured it would be sent. Manged to get through to speak to customer service and the first time, after explaining my story was cut off. I called back and was told by the advisor that the email hadnt even been sent, despite being told twice it had. Was again assured it would be sent but still nothing. So far, have spent over 3 hours on this simple request. ABSOLUTELY LIVID

I ORDERED TWO SETTEES FROM VERY.THEY DELIVERED ONE ON THE DUE DATE BUT THE DELIVERY MAN HADNT LOADED THE ONE. THEY GAVE ME A DELIVERY DATE BUT ON THAT MORNING THEY PHONED ME TO SAY THEY HAD RIPPED IT AND TO REORDER ANOTHER ONE. A MONTH LATER I HAD A DELIVERY DATE AND ONCE AGAIN THEY PHONED TO SAY IT WAS DAMAGED. I PHONED VERY AND WAS SPOKKEN TO BY A VERY RUDE ADVISOR WHO SAID NO ONE SAID IT WOULD BE DELIVERED TODAY AS THE SETTEE WAS OUT OF STOCK. I REPLIED THAT IT WAS STRANGE BECAUSE I HAD JUST SPOKE TO THE DELIVERY MAN WHO SAID IT WAS ON HIS VAN. TO THIS SHE SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN ON ME. I PHONED AGAIN ONLY TO HAVE THE PHONE SLAMMED DOWN AGAIN. I PHONED AGAIN AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR . NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS PUT ON HOLD AND THEN CUT OFF. I HAVE NEVER KNOWN SUCH RUDE UNHELPFUL ADVISORS.THE MANAGEMENT OF VERY WOULD DO WELL TO GET RID OF THIS USELESS STAFF AND EMPLOY SOME DECENT PEOPL WITH MANNERS..

I order a cot, but it didn't seem very solid, so I rang very got a date for a pick up, stayed in all day didn't pick it up, so back on phone rebooked, took a day off work, still didn't come, back on phone, in the end had to leave it outside. I phone them about five times, they still was charging me late fees, interest. and so on. I would not recommend Very, as soon as this is sorted I'm cancelling it.

This is the worst company ever! Very should have a warning sign!!! Do not buy anything from them they lie and deceive people!!! You have been warned!! Rather more tether never phone you back

FFreezer delivered late, with only 3 hours notice from the carrier. Customer Service staff were the most inept I have ever dealt with. I complained & have been passed from pillar to post, with the wrong updates (one related to Apple Airpods!!) to be passed back to the carrier. Please do not do any business with Very as the customer service is a joke.

Absolute crap company. Customer services keep you on the line for ages looking into what should be a simple query. Laughing and talking amongst themselves whilst on the line. I spent £16 on my phone bill just trying to clarify what I owed them!! Several calls to resolve it, and even then it was me who had worked it out! All I wanted was to pay what I owed! They kept asking for proof of returns which I kept giving and they even acknowledged they could see it recruited back on their system!? Pathetic and useless.

Ordered an item of furniture that was faulted, Customer services ignore emails or reply with unhelpful replies that doesn't resolve the issue. Vey poor.

A refund I have been chasing for 3 months. You have had my money for more the 3 years! The matter is still not resolved. Your customer service team say all the right things but nothing is done.

Impossible to get an answer as to where my item is. I ordered 3 weeks ago and I have tried every available way to contact them to find out where my item is. I believe they did not have it in stock and sold it to me anyway, why not just tell me this rather than ignore me completely! Such time-wasters, if my item ever does arrive I will be deleting my acc ASAP.

This company is terrible. We bought a fridge/freezer last Friday. We opened it, followed all instructions on waiting until turning it on and so on only to find that it is not working at all. We contacted Very on Saturday and were given the number for Swan repairs. We explained the item has not been used and wish to return for replacement. Given a number for electrical aftercare team on premium rate number. Eventually got a landline number from "say no to 0870" and rang Shop Direct to be put through to Very and eventually the After Care team. Very seem to think this item should be repaired. Have explained item not used, have original packaging but they are not interested. All they want to do is fob you off. Still pursuing the matter.

Very is an absolute joke of a company. Brought something in December 2016 never received in time for Christmas like it stated so cancelled order and was told I would receive a full refund. Well it's mid February 2017 and I'm still waiting for my refund. About 15 emails and 3 phone calls and still nothing. Barely get an email reply and not one of the divs I've spoken to have been able to resolve. Never will I buy anything from the useless website every again!

Upon ordering on 21/12/16 i still to this day 11/02/17 have not received my order from them, despite 3 seperate phone calls which ended on 'please call in a weeks time to find out if we have it in stock', despite the website saying they have it in stock. when asking to speak to a manager i was left on hold for 30 minutes and still didnt get through to one because during my time on hold i was hung up on. im shocked! utterly terrible service

Tried to return a faulty Apple Watch within their 30 days policy - given the run around by the call centre before I highlighted to their overseas call centre the Sales of Goods act and highlighted my rights. Promised an unconditional refund on 6th Feb by the next working day - nothing received. Tried to phone their call centre holding for 30 minutes every time I try and can never get through whatever the time of day. Really rated Very until now - which may be due to not having anything faulty before - but the call centre clearly haven't got a clue when things go wrong.

I can not believe this company is even running!!!!! Still awaiting a call back! I opted for pay in full 4 weeks later I had a payment due so i rang customer services who are rude and have no clue what they are talking about!! 4 months on they have added interest and late payment fees to my account and will not respond to my emails or letters!! They have incorrectly affected my credit file! Absolutely discussed !!! They rang me a week ago asking for a payment I explained my complaint and that I want a call back! I was promised a call back that day still nothing! I will be contacting the ombudsman!!!!! Do not use VERY!

This has to be the worst company ever- I've had to pay 3 times for the same item because they took the payment incorrectly. I've waited over 2 weeks to finally receive anything, but they sent the wrong item - a much cheaper version of what I ordered. So dishonest. Advisers hang up on you if you ask to speak to a Team Manager, team managers say they will look into the issue and call you back but never do. I regret so much ordering anything from this company. I raised a complaint 8 days ago - no response even though they say they 'will always respond within 24hrs. Just the worst ever. Just spoke to a member of their customer services team who left me on hold for almost 10mins in silence then the line went dead.

Ordered a sofa changed the address on delivery to receive a call saying they were outside house of original place I had booked delivery for even tho we had changed it.. I had changed it to be sent to a storage place while we sorted out problems with house we was moving into..I changed it bk from stOrange unit to be told it hadn't been changed by very in the first place.. I'm. 7 and half month pregnant today I waused in all day for.it just rang them complaining as I have had nothing to sit on all day as we have literally just had keys to be told it isn't coming.. the person at very hadn't rearranged the delivery total waste of a day all the staff are route and all. Foreign u can't understand them. Won't order from.these again just hoping they actually send my sofa out this weekend like promised

I ordered items on Friday and realised the address was wrong for delivery. I contacted Very on their chat service on Saturday morning to change the address. I was told by the agent on chat that I could change my delivery address as it had not yet left the warehouse. I got this changed and the agent said this was all sorted and would be delivered to the new address I chose. I received an email and a slip today to say I'd missed my delivery at my HOME address and was left with my neighbour. I did not give permission for my item to be left with me neighbour and we have an ongoing issue with my neighbour. So I contacted Very to find out why it was delivered to my home address. I was told they had no idea and there was nothing I can do. Normally this is not an issue, however this neighbour has caused no end of problems as I'm sure people can relate to and I know I will NOT get that delivery and Very will do absolutely nothing to help me. Complete waste of time and their service is crap!! Steer clear of Very!!

Unhelpful 'customer service' if thats what you could call it. On phone and internet for over two hours to obtain 'proof of purchase' to be sent to supplier to enable replacement part to be sent urgently. Placed on hold twice for over half an hour and then they hung up, No direct route to make complaint, and the most unhelpful representatives ever. They happy to take your money but once they have they totally not interested. Never deal with this company again.

I bought an Ipad on 3 Decmber 2016 on the strength of their promotion- 10%off electrical goods on first order. I ommitted to put in the promotion code when I ordered ( I admit this was an error on my part) and so rang customer service. The guy on the phone told me he had sorted it out and I would receive my discount in January. No such discount was received. I emailed them...no reply...I rang them and was promised a call back......no reply...I went on online chat she told me to ring their accounts department because it was them who ajusted accounts. The accounts deparment told me it was nothing to do with them and put me back through to customer service....she hung up on me... I rang customer services again myself. This guy seemed really helpful and said he had sent a request form through to accounts who should apply this discount to my account in the next 3-7 days. It remains to be senn whether this actually happens as I have been told this before. All of the people I spoke to wanted me to give them the promotion code. Don't they know their own promotion codes? I hadn't made a note of it since I was told in December it was sorted out so I gave the one that exists on their site now. It seems pretty ludicrus that they don't know themselves. Customer service is pretty poor and I will be closing my Very account.
