Ordered two items. One item was returned by Very, but I wasn't informed and another item apparently there was a fire in a warehouse so that wouldn't be delivered. No one from Very contacted me to let me know. I had contacted Very and their courier on numerous occasions to be told different stories every time. If you ask for a manager apparently they are in the meeting or they are no managers on their floor. When you ask for the complaints department you are giving an email address request information. This is becoming a nightmare.

Awful company. Avoid. Terrible customer service and flatpack with wrong parts. Getting new parts was a nightmare and involved waiting, chasing and messing around. The site also is a pain to use at they try and sell you needless add-ons at every juncture.

Do not bother! Even if they are the cheapest, pay more elsewhere! Ordered a pair of GHD straighteners and they were supposed to come with a FREE GHD heat mat, lone behold straighteners arrive minus the heat mat. I called the 'customer service' department and I would call them that loosely. Long story short 30 mins later after talking to an overseas representative who could barely understand me or what I was saying I was told that they could not send me the item that was missing and that I would have to contact GHD myself about this?!? Sorry no, I ordered the item from Very not GHD Shocking! I was then told to submit an account query with a copy of the order email, so I did this and it took them 24 hours to respond, I then responded to that and have heard nothing since. If you want what you actually pay for and would like any issues resolved by somebody competent to do so then do not use Very ever!

Absolutely disgusted. Waited in for sofas too arrive today after getting rid of my old sofas. Rang at 6 and was told my order has been cancelled. Though the payment went on my account before it arrived. Can't believe I wasn't informed as ordered it over 3 weeks ago. Will be stopping my account with them

Terrible customer service.Cut off each time I rang about being charged for collecting an old freezer when they delivered new one.The courier did not collect anything & I signed to say that.Very still keep billing me £14.99 for this "service" Each time I have rung ,4 times so far,I am assured someone will ring back-this never happens.I have never used Very before & will certainly never use them again.

Everything. From the delivery of the faulty item to handling of the problem. 3-4 hours on the phone trying to sort this problem out and all I can say is Disaster from start to finish! Never want to shop from this website again.

Rude and terrible. I was called a liar for stating that the tv I wanted was cheaper the night before. Their payment methods and website is a joke. My delivery time for my tv is 3 weeks away! I also had to pay £7 for that delivery lol. The item is in stock but a 3 weeks wait This company is a joke, rude and hard to understand

WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Received incorrect order THREE times. Upon each contact with Very they said they were resolving the issue and they would contact me- was never contacted. One advisor refused to raise a complaint for me, one wouldn't let me speak to a manager and hung up on me and they were ALL rude and entirely useless at their job. DO NOT ORDER FROM VERY

I would also give a minus for the useless customer service this company offers. Excellent service when arranging for the delivery of a large item, but try to arrange for a return and it all goes wrong. Promises of contact to arrange this don't come to fruition, leaving the customer having to make contact either by online chat, secure message or a phone call. Each time when you think someone has solved the issue, you find out that you've just been fobbed off and they've not done what they promised. It doesn't help that the customer service agents speak with very strong accents and are very abrupt. They all read from a script telling us how sorry they are and that you have got the right person to help you.

Back in January 2017, we ordered a freezer, as it was advertised as being frost free on the website. However, upon receipt we discovered it was not and in fact an error on their website. The freezer was collected from our property and as we didn't receive a refund or any acknowledgement, decided to chase it up. We were informed that they had no record of the item being returned and the company they sent to collect the freezer was not a part of Very?! After countless emails and telephone calls, we were eventually advised that our item had been located and our account credited. We were very grateful that was the end of this dreadful saga. We have today received a letter from Very asking for payment of the freezer??!! We are now in communication with them again to try and find out what is happening. We didn't think of checking previous customer reviews, as we believed Very to be a reputable company. How very wrong we were. We have told all our family and friends of our ordeal and urge anyone and everyone NEVER to order anything from Very. We will certainly never order anything from them ever again!!

Bad customer service, they just don't want to speak or help!! You phone, they hang up ( after waiting ages to speak to someone) , you do the online chat and they tell you utter rubbish !! Don't waste your time with them, do your self a favour and shop elsewhere

I have learnt the hard way! I write this so no one else has too! I had to get a TV from very as mines had broken and I liked the fact I could pay it up ingest free! No! This did not happen! I am currently paying off my bill monthly and on time but yet getting charged £90+ a month and not one person from very can tell me why! Please do not use as it's a terrible terrible service!

By far the worst experience of customer 'service' I have ever had. There are genuinely no words to describe how bad this company is and I would strongly advise you never to order anything from here! I ordered two items of furniture which were meant to be assembled on the same day (as confirmed by customer service prior to ordering) however when they arrived I was told this was not the case. Therefore I requested a refund - this took over 3 hours worth of pay per minute phone calls to the call centre in South Africa over two days (8 calls in total), at one point I was left on hold for 55 minutes - I called from a different phone and was told "they are leaving you on hold until you give up". They will not let you speak to a manager, no matter how many times you ask, what is the point of a manager if not to deal with issues such as this? Every person you speak to in the call centre will tell you something completely different to simply get you off the phone as quick as possible, they honestly are making it up as they go along and I don't believe they can even see your account as they seem to have no idea what you have ordered etc.. I have been promised countless emails and calls back, and received nothing. I have also tried the online 'chat' on the website, the online 'queries' service on my account, Facebook messaging, and emailing the team in South Wales all with absolutely no success. Although the items have now been collected, they are denying all knowledge of this, and I am convinced I will never receive a refund - this is for over £500.00. The worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I didn't think to check reviews beforehand an they are such a well known company but I can see my experience is not uncommon so I wish I had! Please avoid at all costs.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have lied to me a several times. Had a horrible experience with this website. I have never had a terrible customer service like this before. Won't be shopping with them ever again!!!!

Ordered a new shed from Very three weeks ago and even up until today, their site said the order would be with me today but no notification of tracking and the order did not arrive. Contacted customer services but they are not interested at all. I have dealt with Very for a few years now and have had several order problems during this time. Their customer service department is particularly poor and never really deals with complaints. If you are lucky, you will receive a stock reply which is completely insincere. Have now cancelled the order and will seek to place elsewhere. As a final kick in the teeth, I noticed on their website they are showing the item as in stock and can be delivered within 10 days. I've been waiting three weeks and still haven't got one.

Was ment to receive an order today after waiting till 3.15 decided to log on and track to see that the order was sent back after having been attempted to be delivered on the 15th and not today, phoned them only to be given 3 different stories then told wait 7 day before you reorder.
