i put an order in on Sunday for 2 sets of bedding that the value had come to £64.50 i had an email confirming my order would arrive at Asda on 08/06/15 my order never arrived I called at 4pm on Tuesday 09/06/15 don't know who i spoke to as she never gave her name. She said normally i would advise you to re-order as these are sale items nut you don't have enough credit so you can't do that!!! Then she argued with me that Monday was only a scheduled delivery however Very have all over the television and website if you use collect+ and order before 9pm its free next day delivery your staff need training on this!! the adviser than passed me through to someone else never had her name again who advised me track and trace had finished for the day and someone would call me back the following day. This never happened so I then called again at 12:40 on the 10/06/15 i was then passed through to track and trace to be told "i don't know why this as happened it may be a label has come off of something wrong with the bag i really don't know" So now i am wondering why am i calling an 0844 number on my mobile and not getting anywhere. I told the guy on the phone i want to register a complaint he said someone will call me back within 4 hours yep you guessed it i never got a call. on the 11/06/15 i called at 9.05am and said i wanted to speak to a customer relations department i was put on hold then the lad come back and said they haven't started work yet someone will call me back i replied with i'm already waiting for someone to call me back i said its 9.10 why are they not in work? Then i was put through to Shanti well what can i say about her?? I don't know if she was sleeping or stoned!! not at any time did she apologise she just sat there repeating and repeating herself after i told her she clearly cant help me and i want to speak to a manager in the end i was telling her what she should be doing in her job please someone listen to the call this person is supposed to resolve a complaint not make it worse right??? in the end i put the phone down and called the 0844 number off my mobile again spoke to a really nice girl and good at her job she put me through to kyle who was very nice and sympathetic who advised me i would have a call back and he would send me a confirmation email of my complaint THIS DID NOT HAPPEN AGAIN after an hour on the phone this morning i still haven't got anywhere.

Customer service at very is a joke, I ordered 3 pairs of tracksuit bottoms, had 7 phone calls, with 7 different advisors to get these delivered. The order was cancelled twice, then one of the items was sold to someone else. I was told a different story by each advisor, not a single person knew what they were talking about. I asked to be put through to a manager, they said one would call back, didn't get a call back. I've just cancelled the order now because I'm not going to spend any more time chasing tracksuit bottoms. Would highly recommend not ordering from them as you'll end up losing money from the amount of calls you'll make chasing up the items.

Ordered furniture nearly 3 months ago and still waiting for it to arrive. I have received items in dribs and drabs: 2 boxes of 3 on one occasion for a wardrobe, and a chest of draws and no side tables after 6 weeks of waiting! The customer service are rude and not empathetic. They state in stock online but when the order is placed its another story - waiting months for parts to arrive. They are a joke.

Very (company registered as part of Shop Direct Group and formerly known as Littlewoods Direct (headquarters in Liverpool) SALES and OFFERS are absolute CON… This is a method this company uses to get customer to buy product making them think they on for a bargain. It’s all just a con. Please DO NOT make any purchase whatsoever, trust me, if you have not experience their before I can guarantee it will happen and it not a nice experience especially the company customer service. Products are advertised as bargains only to get customer to place orders and not receive the complete product ordered. Murad product for men was advertised which was advertised to have free gifts, even stated on the receipt that I have to show proof of purchase. Product was ordered and delivered but without free gifts… Made a phone to customer services (Very customer service is the worst ever) asking why this the case.. Then I was told offer code is not included in the detail I provided when my order was place. This is absolute LIE. After I have proved that was not the case, the discount code is clearly shown on my receipt. After I have proving that is not the case, customer services representative I spoke to changed their story to be that the free gift is finished.. WHAT A CON…….I was so angry and disappointed. I should have known as similar issue has happened to me before with this same so called company called Very. Then, I bought a Lenovo Laptop costing about £400, again that has an offer of a discount amount of the cost refund to you buy the product, I ordered the laptop, get it delivered but Very refused to refund me discounted amount as advertised, yet another CON….. After endless and series of phones and a huge cost on my side and taking almost a years, I got discount amount refunded back to me from this useless so call company called Very.

Ordered an item for my daughter on the basis that next day delivery was advertised. I was trying to pay from Australia where I live. The payment was accepted, showed on my credit card statement, and the order to her in the UK placed. She then found an email saying they could not process the order. She contacted them, told all was fine, then again message saying could not be processed. I contacted Very, initially helpful chat person, but the second person would not talk to me as the order was in her name not mine. They would not release the order to her as it was paid for in my name. Numerous attempts to email and talk to people, but just blocked all the time with the same arguments. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BOTHER USING THIS COMPANY

Awful! Waited in all day for 2 bedside tables which did not turn up, when I called, the adviser was useless. One of them arrived 2 days later which was left on my door step. 2 weeks later and I am still waiting on the other one and not one person at very can give me any answers! I will not be ordering again

Awful. I ordered a set of dining chairs and a table. The table was correct but the chairs were the wrong colour. As I had already opened the table I was told that I could not return the item. The chairs remain boxed and all I wanted to do was exchange them. Very.co.uk have appalling customer service, their call centres are noisy with one person complaining that I had to speak louder as her colleagues were messing around in the background. I got passed between departments, some of whom could see the stupidity of the position and said it was fine to exchange just the chairs. Still no, I have to accept what I was sent. Utterly appalling.

Having been a customer of very for quite some time I placed an order for a wardrobe and chest of drawers on buy now pay later to the value of £552.99. After loggin in a few days later, I found that the prices had dropped and the order value would be £445.39. On calling to have the price adjusted, I was told that i would have to cancel the order and replace. When I tried to reorder as instructed, a message showed that my order had been declined. When I called to speak to very, a lady called Denise informed me that because I had only cancelled my order to get the lower price, that I was now not allowed buy now pay later. When I then asked to speak to a manager, Denise passed on a message to me that they could not do anything and that the manager would not speak to me. When I asked for his name, she would only tell me that it was Ryan. She would not give me surnames when I requested them. Overall, the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a company. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Worst company ever! A month ago I placed an order on-line, few hours later it had been reduced so I contacted them to cancel my order. I was told there would be too much paperwork involved cancelling it but if I kept the order they would refund me the price difference. Despite numerous phone calls, emails and on-line chats chasing my refund, I still have not received it. Last week I sent another email in a final attempt to get my refund and was yet again promised it by a certain date - needless to say, the deadline has passed and still no refund! I doubt I ever will get it and have realised they never had any intention of refunding me the difference. This was the first time I used them and it is my last. Very awful, Very bad, Very frustrating!

Absolute disgusting service. My delivery should have came yesterday but was delayed until today. I tracked the delivery for the second day and it wasn't until 4.05pm that they decided to ring the delivery company and request my packages be sent BACK TO Them because they changed their mind about my account balance on this time. They did not inform me of this at all,it was the courier that advised me. I rang them and they were so rude I swear they must get training in how to be obnoxious.

Worst customer service I have ever had, ordered 2 bedroom packages one was out of stock was informed this would be delivered when back in stock....fair enough that's fine, first bedroom package delivered no problems, I then receive a text a week later to ring and arrange delivery for second package as back in stock, ring and get the rudest member of staff telling me to pay another delivery charge or I don't receive my delivery, pointed out I had already paid delivery and was asked "do you want it or not?" Needless to say emailed very.co.uk demanding my delivery charge back and about the rudeness they apologised for the rude staff member but never even mentioned the refund, terrible company avoid if you can!

i barely know where to begin. Avoid VERY.CO.UK A friend recommended them but oh how wrong she was. Customer service team tell you want you want to hear but no follow up. They promise a collection but do not turn up. They promise to call back but they do not call. All I want is for someone to call me and take back their goods and return my money. HELP!!!!!! Oh did I mention that this has been going on since December 2014. So Mr Stuart Johnson CEO of VERY.CO.UK prove me wrong and contact me. Help me to resolve the collection of table and chairs. Refund the £34 I paid for packaging, the numerous phone calls made to your organisation, the time I have wasted staying at home awaiting collection and the general distress caused by your organisation all need to be compensated.

Basically arranged a delivery slot for which I paid extra for. The delivery was never made, the delivery company they use claimed to have put a card through the door, which they did not. Spoke to Customer Services (for what good it did) they promised that they would call me back to arrange a delivery time convenient to myself. This never happened (didn't really expect it to) and delivery has been attempted 2 times since without prior arrangement and I have been at work now they expect me to do a 70 mile round trip to collect the goods. I don't think so! Appalling communication from Very, basically calling me a liar! There are other catalog companies out there. Stay away from Very unless you like to me messed about and accused of lying!

I ordered a pushchair and paid a little bit more to have It delivered on a particular day as I had taken the day off work so I could stay in a wait for it, delivery times are between 7am and 9pm so when it got to 9pm there was still no delivery, it's terrible that they offer this service and don't deliver it on the day you choose even with a huge 14hour delivery gap! I now have to wait until they investigate where the pushchair has gone before I can cancel the order (as I need to get a pushchair ASAP) and close my account. This was my first and last purchase from very. So disappointed!

I ordered a pair of Converse, at the very reasonable price of £28, to be delivered to a collect+ store. They were due to be delivered on a Friday but I never received a message to say they had arrived. So I rang Very on Saturday and they told me that my parcel had been returned but they couldn't tell me why. I asked them to resend it but they said they couldn't and that I'd have to reorder. And wait 28 days for a refund. I explained that they were no longer on offer and had gone back up to £46. They said I'd still have to reorder them, then ring them back up after placing the order and they would refund me the difference so that they still cost £28. Terrible customer service, the person I talked to kept huffing. There's no way I was going to reorder with them.

I ordered my 4 items of furniture with Very & stipulated a Friday delivery only. Their communication workflow with manufacturer and courier service is very poor as this Friday delivery did not filter through until they tried to deliver on the original date (different weekday). Since then I have been constantly communicating with the courier service on a weekly basis who complete refuse to give me any date at all. On communicating with VERY they completely refuse to help or assist in getting this delivery out to me and wash their hands completely of the delivery process. They have twice published a totally fictitious Friday date for delivery with no communication with the couriers to confirm with a view to appease me. The couriers have no intention of delivering anytime soon and no date could ever be given. Despite the continuous correspondence with VERY they are a complete waste of time now and I have 4 pieces of furniture (my large TV is on the floor still waiting for a stand) that were due for delivery many weeks back (after a 2 month wait) with absolutely no indication of any forthcoming delivery. VERY are blatantly refusing to help in this matter and wash their hands off the whole process. Hugely disappointed, upset and stressed out over this matter

Wish I had read the reviews here before ordering from this very unprofessional company. From the moment I opened an account and my address was registered wrong it should've sent alarm bells as to how incompetent this company is. Five weeks after ordering furniture it still hadn't arrived even after paying two lots of express delivery charges for it to be delivered within two days of my original order. Numerous phone calls to Very to verify the address and delivery company attempted delivery four times, each time to wrong address with no contact from driver to correct it. Each attempted delivery schedule meant a wasted day waiting. I finally made a complaint only to be promised again that someone would get back to me and I'm still waiting. I have received full refunds but with no apology or follow up contact from the customer excellence team. There is certainly no excellence in their customer service!! BTW I managed to get newly ordered furniture correctly delivered by Argos within two days!

I order a bed for my daughter from VERY website, was advised that it will take up to 4 weeks delivery which was fine, gave us enough time to redecorate. I received email to tell me that bed will be delivered on the 17/04/2015, so we sold my daughters old bed which was collected on 16/04/2015. I then took the day of work on the 17th for delivery, I waited and waited and waited until 7pm there was no sign of it, I called VERY to be told "oh there is a delay with the bed by another 8 WORKING DAYS, you should of got an email telling you of this"....I was not a happy bunny, I told them that I wanted someone higher to call me ASAP as this was unacceptable. I then received a call on Monday to which everytime I answered they put the phone down on me without even a hello, after the third failed call I called them, very angry, the lady I got guarnteed me that she will get the bed delivered to me on Wed 22nd, I also received text from courier service to say my item will be delivered between 9.15-1.15pm, again I took day off and I waited and waited for NOTHING. I called VERY to be told it was with delivery company, I then called delivery company to be told that it wasnt being delivered as they had not received all the parts, I then called VERY again to be told there was nothing they can do that It may be delivered Thursday or Friday, I was not allowed to cancel order and they offered me £20 for loss of earnings......what a joke. oh and did I mention in the meantime my six year old daughter is lying on a mattress on a floor!!!! I would advise anyone to never ever use VERY, they dont care about customer service, they happily take your money but offer nothing in return.

You hear horror stories about ordering bridesmaid dresses online to cut down your costs for the big day, as the dresses are usually made in China. However, Very is a reputable site in the UK so seemed more trustworthy. 5 bridesmaid dresses came back a foot too long, bust to big, straps in the wrong place and shoddy sewing in general. The size chart on the website is completely inaccurate and whoever made the dresses seems to have ignored it anyway. It has cost us just as much money to get the dresses altered and amended with a seamstress as it did to buy the dresses in the first place. Very customer service is absolutely horrendous! Buy your bridesmaid dresses from a shop (where you can try it on) or pay the extra and get them professionally made. The unnecessary stress this has caused is not worth the cheap price tag at Very.co.uk. Demanding a refund!!!!
