Disgusting company and customer service! Bought a games console for my sons Xmas, when opened it was faulty. After contacting very was told they will not accept the return and replace it as it's not there problem and infact the manufacturers. Avoid at all costs!!!

Bad customer service. Missing part of a bed , so unable to put it together. Told can deliver another full bed on Wednesday when we are at work and taken today off for delivery. Offered us a 15% disc which does not cover the delivery cost we have already paid for.spoken to 4 different people with no joy and 3 hours on my telphone being charged for the call. We will never order from this company again.shocking service

Terrible customer service! I ordered a baby rocker which was due to arrive 2 weeks after placing the order, however when it failed to arrive I rang Very, only to be informed that the order had been cancelled as the item was damaged when collected from warehouse! No body bothered to let us know that or send a replacement despite them keeping our payment of £79. When I asked them to send another they said I would have to cancel the cancelled item! And wait 5 days for a refund before re ordering! I asked to speak to their complaints team who were conveniently unavailable on several occasions and still haven't managed to speak to anyone who can help! DO NOT USE!!

Awful customer service, I ordered items using collect + however my items went missing, I contacted very only to be told I would have to wait 5 days until they knew where my items were. I never heard back from them. Also early December I ordered something for a gift and told it would be with me within 2 days, I'm still waiting for this product over a month later, all they said was sorry. Stay away from this company.

customer service is very unresponsive when you request a refund because they have your parcel. managers dont respond either. i have emailed them 7 times over 3 days as their response says you will receive a reply within 6 hours. absolutely FA from them. spent over 2 hours on the phone...absolutely nothing in response

Worse company I've ever dealt with when it comes to deliveries and complaining. People hang up on you and managers are never available and when you manage to get hold of one they just don't care at all. S.smith

Bought a Sony ps vita for my sons Christmas, since opening it has numerous faults, turn its self off, touchscreen does not work, keeps freezing. Called very who are not interested in the least gave me numbers to call which don't exsist. Will be returning for refund, avoid like the plague, verys customer services are non existing very rude monotonous response. Never again

Bought an xbox one for my boyfriend for nearly £400 opened it Xmas day any It won't turn on......they are refusing to replace it!!!! Will never buy from them again and will be telling everyone I know to go else where. So upset! Saved up for 6 months to pay for it

Next day delivery was not next day, they didn't even process my order until the next day. When I finally got a delivery date, this was then pushed back another 4days, their delivery is terrible!

Poor customer service. I ordered a gift 3 weeks before Christmas which they said would be delivered before cheistmas. I emailed them asking when they would be delivering gift as I would need to cancel if not delivered before christmas which they replied saying before christmas. I then received an email a week before christmas to be informed my parcel would be delivered on 27th. When it didn't appear, I checked my account which told me item is not in stock which no advisor for very to contact me to tell me this. On website before they had a notice saying anyone who doesn't received a their parcels before Christmas will be given a discount code to use for the delay and I am still waiting for this. Disgrace of a company.

Bought an expensive cooker from Very, the product is fine, when it eventually arrived, however the Very service is abysmal, no, actually it is non-existing. This was my first, and very much certainly, the last time I ever deal with this company, the delivery date was wrong, the suppliers didn't know anything about the order, the installation date was wrong and so was the date for collecting the old cooker. In short the whole process was a mess. On top of this I was due a small refund, and this is where the sheer incompetence became hilarious. Weeks after the actual delivery, I yet gain chased up for my refund, only to be told that refund was not processed as the item was not delivered, I had to convince them that it was indeed delivered weeks ago. Eventually the poor soul on the customer support desk, and I do feel sorry for them because I think they must be getting a proper beating daily if you look at the poor reviews Very.co.uk gets, agreed to process my refund and I was promised payment within 10 days. Guess what, 10 days came and went and no sign of the money, I started the chasing process again, and the latest is that the refund got processed against my non-existing very.co.uk account, how I am not sure, but that's what beaten-up-soul-number-3 told me. I now got offered a cheque refund, which will take at least 14 days to process, which I declined as I was promised a direct refund to my debit card. Again beatne-up-soul-number-4 from the customer services team, did not know what to do. So here we are, weeks later, a very unhappy customer who will never use them again, and still no refund. So people, if you value your sanity, please, please, please do not make the same mistake I did to buy from this what can best be described as a disjointed, unorganized, hilariously incompetent organisation.

Do NOT EVER GO NEAR THIS COMPANY. I recently made a purchase for just under £60 and decided to take the option to just pay in full. Happy with the product. However on the 2nd of December I checked my bank account to find that Very.co.uk had taken the amount twice from my account. I don’t often check my bank account so would have never noticed this. I contacted Very by email as there wait time son the phone were horrific. Eventually I get a reply saying that they were sorry and that something went wrong with whatever payment system they use (sounds like a third party company). I was told it would take 48 hours and I provided my bank statement. Anyways around 15 emails later and now 13 days later I have still never had any money refunded. My last email from them said that the basically did not believe me when I said they money was not refunded and they would need a bank statement of all my transactions from the 2nd of December. Unsure what kind of company can not check if a refund has been processed. The company just do not care about it’s customers...there constant “we will get back to you in 48 hours” is just alot of crap. They don’t get back top you unless you push. Needless to say i don’t trust this company and will 100% not be sending any of my bank transactions with them and have taken it higher. I do not have alot of money and £60 is alot to me at this time of year. STAY AWAY FROM VERY...bunch of thieves.

Disgusting service. I ordered a coffee table. Screws we're missing for the handles. Very made me open a credit account for what I thought was so they could send me the 2 screws. What they actually did was send me ANOTHER coffee table and charge me £150 . Now I have the hassle of returning the item, a credit account I didn't want, and still have no screws for the original coffee table. I'll never use them again!

My first experience of Very.co.uk. . . I went through the order process, and chose the Buy Now Pay Later option. It was confirmed as such, I was given a £300 credit limit, and the item was dispatched. I received the item in a timely fashion. However, after contacting Very.co.uk to clarify the terms and conditions that had to be met - i.e., what the payment details where insofar as to avoid uneccesary interest in the future, I was rudely informed that my account was NOT on BNPL terms. I took various screen shots of my account confirming that it WAS, and yet Very.co.uk once again responded that my account was NOT on BNPL terms. Nowhere within my account does it state that I was ineligible, or rejected. It clearly states a credit limit of 300 pounds (which, after receiving the item, is obviously less now). I wanted to know exactly why this error was made, and why, from their end, it was showing as not BNPL, but in my account it is. I have just been directed to call their customer services. As I live at home with the person whose Christmas gift the item in question is, I cannot call them to discuss said item without ruining Christmas. I can easily afford to pay for this item up front, but it is the principle of it. I wonder how many people who CANNOT afford it have made such an order for Christmas, assuming they have up to a year to pay the fee, only to discover, possibly after opening their presents on Christmas Day, that they now have a debt to be paid up front when they just don't have the money available. Shame on you, Very.co.uk.

I had been a loyal customer of very for a number if years until I returned a bike at a value if around £150. Later I found that it hadn't been credited back to my account. I contacted customer service and they told me it was too late to claim the money back. In the end I had to pay the £150 for absolutely nothing!!!! After clearing my balance I closed my account.

Need a simple problem resolved but can not get any help from facebook, online chat and was on hold for 30 minutes and was then cut of by someone who put me on hold. This happened twice. So I am cancelling my account

I rarely write reviews but in this case I will make an exception. I have been using Very on and off for about 18months so I feel I can offer an objective opinion of the company. Last month I was wrongly told by a Very advisor that as I had paid off some buy now pay later items I didn't need to make a monthly payment. I didn't make a payment and it went down as a late payment. This will adversely affect my credit rating. This was the final straw. Very's customer service is appalling - if its anything other than a basic query they don't understand & they often give wrong information. They contantly make grossely unrealistic estimations on expected delivery dates to give them a business advantage. One example - I recently ordered a high value item on the basis that it would be delivered the next day (estmiated delivery date). It didn't arrive the next day and after looking at the Royal Mail tracking info I could see it would have been an impossibility for it to arrive that day - the next day wasn't a reasonable expected delivery date and in effect Very gained my business by making extremely unrealitic claims. I will be paying off my account and I won't be using them again. Please be warned about Very...

Made an order on 28/11/14, promised delivery by 01/12/14. Today is 06/12/14 and still no delivery! I've made 4 calls to Very, sent 2 tweets which have been ignored, and sent an email to which their reply was "there's a delay with the courier, we don't know when you'll get it". Not good enough! When I called Very I mentioned the part of the website that says "if we're late on delivery we'll give you £10" all they had to say was that the delivery date they give is only an estimate and you should add 3 days onto whatever date you're promised. It's been 5 days and all they're willing to offer is an explanation as to why there's a delay. The worst company I've ever used. Would definitely not recommend them and will never be using them again myself! Friends and family had nothing good to say about them and no one I know has had a good experience!

Paid for a named day delivery, waited on all day on my only day off, rang them at 19:30 and they tell me the delivery day has been changed to tomorrow and I have to sort it with yodel. Are you actually joking me I will never be using your service again and you can stick your bike where the sun don't shine FUMING!!!!!!!!!!
