WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Received incorrect order THREE times. Upon each contact with Very they said they were resolving the issue and they would contact me- was never contacted. One advisor refused to raise a complaint for me, one wouldn't let me speak to a manager and hung up on me and they were ALL rude and entirely useless at their job. DO NOT ORDER FROM VERY

I would also give a minus for the useless customer service this company offers. Excellent service when arranging for the delivery of a large item, but try to arrange for a return and it all goes wrong. Promises of contact to arrange this don't come to fruition, leaving the customer having to make contact either by online chat, secure message or a phone call. Each time when you think someone has solved the issue, you find out that you've just been fobbed off and they've not done what they promised. It doesn't help that the customer service agents speak with very strong accents and are very abrupt. They all read from a script telling us how sorry they are and that you have got the right person to help you.

Back in January 2017, we ordered a freezer, as it was advertised as being frost free on the website. However, upon receipt we discovered it was not and in fact an error on their website. The freezer was collected from our property and as we didn't receive a refund or any acknowledgement, decided to chase it up. We were informed that they had no record of the item being returned and the company they sent to collect the freezer was not a part of Very?! After countless emails and telephone calls, we were eventually advised that our item had been located and our account credited. We were very grateful that was the end of this dreadful saga. We have today received a letter from Very asking for payment of the freezer??!! We are now in communication with them again to try and find out what is happening. We didn't think of checking previous customer reviews, as we believed Very to be a reputable company. How very wrong we were. We have told all our family and friends of our ordeal and urge anyone and everyone NEVER to order anything from Very. We will certainly never order anything from them ever again!!

Bad customer service, they just don't want to speak or help!! You phone, they hang up ( after waiting ages to speak to someone) , you do the online chat and they tell you utter rubbish !! Don't waste your time with them, do your self a favour and shop elsewhere

I have learnt the hard way! I write this so no one else has too! I had to get a TV from very as mines had broken and I liked the fact I could pay it up ingest free! No! This did not happen! I am currently paying off my bill monthly and on time but yet getting charged £90+ a month and not one person from very can tell me why! Please do not use as it's a terrible terrible service!

By far the worst experience of customer 'service' I have ever had. There are genuinely no words to describe how bad this company is and I would strongly advise you never to order anything from here! I ordered two items of furniture which were meant to be assembled on the same day (as confirmed by customer service prior to ordering) however when they arrived I was told this was not the case. Therefore I requested a refund - this took over 3 hours worth of pay per minute phone calls to the call centre in South Africa over two days (8 calls in total), at one point I was left on hold for 55 minutes - I called from a different phone and was told "they are leaving you on hold until you give up". They will not let you speak to a manager, no matter how many times you ask, what is the point of a manager if not to deal with issues such as this? Every person you speak to in the call centre will tell you something completely different to simply get you off the phone as quick as possible, they honestly are making it up as they go along and I don't believe they can even see your account as they seem to have no idea what you have ordered etc.. I have been promised countless emails and calls back, and received nothing. I have also tried the online 'chat' on the website, the online 'queries' service on my account, Facebook messaging, and emailing the team in South Wales all with absolutely no success. Although the items have now been collected, they are denying all knowledge of this, and I am convinced I will never receive a refund - this is for over £500.00. The worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I didn't think to check reviews beforehand an they are such a well known company but I can see my experience is not uncommon so I wish I had! Please avoid at all costs.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have lied to me a several times. Had a horrible experience with this website. I have never had a terrible customer service like this before. Won't be shopping with them ever again!!!!

Ordered a new shed from Very three weeks ago and even up until today, their site said the order would be with me today but no notification of tracking and the order did not arrive. Contacted customer services but they are not interested at all. I have dealt with Very for a few years now and have had several order problems during this time. Their customer service department is particularly poor and never really deals with complaints. If you are lucky, you will receive a stock reply which is completely insincere. Have now cancelled the order and will seek to place elsewhere. As a final kick in the teeth, I noticed on their website they are showing the item as in stock and can be delivered within 10 days. I've been waiting three weeks and still haven't got one.

Was ment to receive an order today after waiting till 3.15 decided to log on and track to see that the order was sent back after having been attempted to be delivered on the 15th and not today, phoned them only to be given 3 different stories then told wait 7 day before you reorder.

I ordered quite a few items. Paid my account every time I got an email from them but they then charged me for a late payment when they had not even contacted me. I paid the charge under protest and would never order from them again.

Freezer damaged when delivered, 4 weeks later item not yet picked up , money not refunded until 10-14 days after item back in warehouse ! Five phone calls made , cut off 3 times , last caller said I would have a collection date within 3 days, now a week later ! Tried to email head office but email was returned "undelivered" Dreadful company.

I applied for a credit account and received an email on 13/04/2017 to say my application had been successful and I had a £500 credit limit. I logged into my Very account and chose a Samsung phone on TAKE 3 and it went through. That evening, I checked my emails as I thought it unusual that I had not had a confirmation email. I checked my emails again on the 14th but still nothing so I logged into my Very account only to find out that the order had been declined. I rang customer services who put me through to Shop Direct. The gentleman apologised and said the credit account had been declined. Why send me an email in the first place then saying it had been accepted? I told him I would purchase the phone using my debit card and that I had a £20 voucher code for my first order and he said this would be fine. I then attempted to use the code on the order and it said it had already been used? I rang customer services back to complain about this and yet again was put through to Shop Direct were a 2nd gentleman informed me that I would not even be able to purchase the phone with my debit card paying in full! Apparently, I would have to wait a week. Where in the world would a company make you wait a week to make a cash purchase!? What poor service, misinformation and customer service. Michelle Duerden.

I would highly recommend you do not … I would highly recommend you do not order anything from these people - their customer service is really non existent and the word 'service' really shouldn't be included. Yesterday I ordered two of the same thing - kingsize bed valance in ivory and I paid for next day delivery. I have guests arriving tomorrow for Easter, unexpectedly, and needed to finish off my guest bedrooms. I got my order delivered today - only in the parcel was one kingsize valance in white and one easy care duvet set in ivory - neither of which is what I ordered. How anyone can pack this parcel and put in a duvet cover set which is much bigger than a single packet with a valance, and cannot understand that white is not ivory I honestly do not know. Actually the duvet cover set is far more expensive than the valance so I am pleased I am not a share holder in Very. I called their so called 'customer service' as I really do need the correct items. Initially I spoke to a gentleman who wanted to call me back after he had found out why I didnt get the correct items - I asked him when he was going to call me back and the answer was that he did not know. I explained that I really did not see why I had to wait until Very investigated their own mistake and could he just not order me two of the correct items to be delivered tomorrow as I had already paid for next day delivery. He told me that he could not do this until he investigated the issue. As this was so ridiculous I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was put through to a supervisor and he told me that he could arrange for the items to be delivered, not the next day but the one after and then only if I paid for the items again. At which time he would arrange for the wrong items to be picked up, not by the same person, and I would have to wait for my refund. I told him that this was completely not good customer service and that if he arranged for the correct items to be delivered I would hand back the parcel with the incorrect items to the same person at the same time. Apparently this is not possible. So now I have to wait in for the person delivering the right items, and then wait in again to give back the wrong items even though I have actually already paid for the order and the next day delivery! WHAT A GOOD GAME THIS IS! So Very send out the wrong items to a very simple order that they seemingly cannot get right - and when it is wrong they will only send you the correct items if you pay again. Amazing - they then get to keep your money for the wrong items until they feel they would like to pay it back and they also get paid again for what you paid for in the first place! They must think their customers are either stupid or simpletons. Actually I am neither. I have asked for the items to be collected. I will not be ordering replacements (they are going to come too late anyway) and I will NEVER spend any money with Very.co.uk ever again and I will tell everyone I can this story. I really object to customers being treated this way.

Made contact by "expensive" phone line in January to be advised item would receive price match of £30.00. 5 web chats and a further expensive phone call during which I was transferred to Yodel! - obviously to get rid of me. No response at all from Very by phone or email. Been a customer for a number of years and spent a lot of money - never had a problem before. Will now never use Very again. Would have zero rated if could.

Ordered sofa on 28/03/2017 told it was in stock and would be delivered by 11/04/17 the day before it was due rang the courier Blue Arrow because I had heard nothing they told me the item was out of stock and won't be delivered on the 11/04/17. After several conversations with customer services I was told 5 different stories several promises of call backs, countless Promises of sorting it out I'm still without my sofa the worse part is I got rid of my old sofa because my account still said delivery by the 11th April not once did very ring to tell me it was out of stock. So to make matters worse my partner has just come out of hospital after major surgery has to stay in bed because we have nothing to sit on. The customer service team are based in South Africa can't understand a word they are saying and are so incompetent they haven't got a clue what's going on and as for people ringing you back forget it they don't. Worse customer service ever get your arse in gear very get your call centres back to the uk you have lost me as a customer after all your lies and deciet and

Tried to set up an account to order a TV, the payment was taken from my bank but no order went through, they also credited me on several occasions with a £600 then £700 then £1000 credit account that i did not want nor need. I rang customer service and experienced the worst customer service i in my life. I spoke to 3 separate customer advisers, based in South Africa, they were patronizing, extremely unhelpful and couldn't assist me in any way, apart from being extremely rude. I would NEVER EVER use this company or recommend them to anyone as the issue still isn't resolved and no one seems to care or even be able to help. Pay a bit ore and go with a company like John Lewis or Argos. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I ordered a chest freezer which was delivered on the 7th april and paid the extra to remove my old freezer (which didn't happen) after countless phone calls its still not been collected after 5 days. Will never use this company again !!!!!

I opened a account and they offered me 250£ balance next day. I ordered some birthday gift for my sister and after two days they called me and said my account is closed for security reason. Never trust this company.

I ordered a washing machine on the 9 March from Very, they advised a delivery date of 27 March which I thought was a long time but went with it. I was then advised it was on its way when it didn't arrive I was told it had been rejected, this meant it was damaged and they were unable to deliver. At this point I called Very and asked to speak to a manager and customer services each time was either hung up on or told someone would call me back and they never did. They gave me free delivery and date of 7 April, 4 weeks after my order date. This again was damaged, again I called and asked for a manager and customer services and each time I was hung up on. I called again on the 8 April and someone offered me money back or a lower grade washer. By this time I had no washing machine all this time. I was finally settled with a higher grade machine but still have to call back just in case they charge it to my account. The new delivery date is 12 April. DO NOT USE VERY
