Worst customer service I have ever received. Ordered an electric hob and it arrived at a collection point absolutely battered and dented. It's taken 5 attempts to try and return it and it still hasn't been returned. I keep arranging a collection where I have to wait in from 7am to 7pm and no has come on 5 occasions. Will never use very again! And the people on the phone are rude and hang up on you!

I ordered two combi TVs & used a SAVE 20 discount code (£20 off orders over £200). I had meant to order two freeview TVs & my order was cancelled by an agent within a few minutes so that I could reorder correctly however it would no accept the voucher code. Conversations with agents initially looked positive but then said they could not help because it was an on line purchase. Have arranged for the TVs to be returned & will close my account

Ordered a wardrobe on 22nd May, got given a date, didn't come because it was lost, so got given another date and in the day it didn't come because it was damaged so got told to order it again. We did so and got charged AGAIN, later sorted out, and given another date for delivery, today the 19th June, and it hasn't come, saying it's still stuck in the warehouse. Told we would receive a call to help, but we havent. Terrible customers service. Terrible company and will make it my goal for the week to spread as much terrible truths about your company. And have fun while doing it.

I wasn't aware that Very used YODEL as a courier company??? I was waiting in all day for a delivery when I received an email saying driver had left a card!!!!! What I was sitting waiting I phoned the mobile number it went to answer machine I sent a text also, so I decided to contact YODEL first was advised by agent the driver didn't even go to my address and parcel would be rescheduled for Saturday, rang customer service number at VERY the first non English speaker hung up on me when I explained why I was calling, I rang back and was asked all my details told I would need to wait a minute after 15 Minutes I hung up, rang back this morning and advised wanted to make a complaint I was advised parcel would be out Monday!WHAT!!!!! OH COME ON GET YOUR SELFS TOGETHER SOME WAY TO RUN A COMPANY SO I WILL ALSO BE WRITING TO HEAD OFFICE , If I don't get my goods today I will cancel the order and get my money back , but a useless customer service team I,m trying to think of another word rather than shambles never again

Like everyone else says. The customer service is rubbish. They hire people who don't have a good understanding of English. Also it takes about 15 mins to speak to someone then they seem so distant and unwilling to help. Do not expect any good service from very

Please please please people take not of these bad reviews this is the worst company you will ever deal with. The customer service is by far the worst I have ever come across. week 11 I am still trying to arrange a return. You never get an English advisor please just avoid at all costs.

First and last time I ever use Very. Half my order hasn't arrived and they told me they would reordered it but it still hasn't arrived and now when I try to call the customer service line either the line goes dead or nobody bothers to answer the phones. I want a refund now!

I purchased a £550 TV from Very, first time I have used them and was happy up until my order was processed. 7 weeks on and I still don't have my TV despite numerous calls and emails to resolve it. The thing which annoys me the most, is that they won't call, email or even text you to let you know what's happeneing. Just terrible customer service. They scheduled delivery, them didn't turn up at all - and no contact. I booked a day off work to take the delivery also. Honest opinion, save your time, money, and phone bill and purchase elsewhere. I wouldn't be returning even if they paid me.

Awful experience would never use this company again, so here goes, ordered a garden table and chairs 23rd April​ 2017 got told delivery would be 22nd may by their delivery company arrow XL, waited in all day for a no show, contacted very who said if it doesn't arrive in 8 days to ring them back, couldn't get hold of delivery company their phone were just ringing out after 8 days very then told me they were still waiting for it to come into stock, by this time I had waited over 6 weeks, when I read the reviews people were saying they had just ordered and how quick delivery was, so I done a review myself saying mine still hadn't turned up, they refused to put bad reviews on their site they only want good reviews so be careful, nearly 7 weeks on I have rang up to cancel my order because they wanted me to pay for something that still wasn't here I explained why I wanted to cancel and they didn't want to know or wouldn't find out what was happening with the order

I got a marketing letter from Very.co.uk. I have never provided my details to them. At the bottom of the letter there is a number to call if you don't want to receive further communications. I called that number. The "gentleman" said they didn't have any of my details... he then hang up the phone on me. I called back - after going through 25 options confirming that I do not want to make a payment to Very.co.uk - I got through a person, and this time a took his name, he is called Ali (I have the suspicion that it was the same person as before). I tried to explain the situation to him but when he asked for my address and then wanted me to spell out my name so he can open an account for me I lost it and asked to speak to his manager. Why would I want to open an account when I'm calling to get my details (THAT I NEVER PROVIDED!!!) removed from your system??? Anyway, he puts me on mute for 5 minutes instead of transferring me. I know this as there was no hold music, so I know he was still on the line. When I started talking to him he did actually put me on hold and the hold music started... for another 5 minutes. Eventually, after being on actual hold for another 10 minutes, I gave up as it seems Ali was just messing around with me. Terrible company, appalling customer service at their call centre. I would never order anything from these people. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Ordered a garden set and had a confirmed delivery date of bank holiday Monday!!! 8:45-10:45am half way through my 2hr delivery slot I get a phone call from the company due to deliver saying they only received the order @ 11pm last night therefore it has not been able to be quality controlled and could not deliver until next week now!!! I had the day off work to take delivery I could of got double pay, I had to cancel my birthday BBQ that had been booked for ages it wasn't only embarrassing it was sickening! Absolutely not one apology from the catalogue or delivery company!!! I am fuming I will never spend another penny with very!!

after clearing my dues and closing my account, the rep who helped me close my account forgot to cancel the direct debit on my account. so i at the end of the month my DD wa charged. when i contacted very to return my money back they were unhelpful and said they cannot do anything and that i should contact my bank.

wow, where to start, by far the worst online company I have ever purchased from. Cancelled my order without informing me after taking the money from my bank because they declined me an account which I did not ask for, did not want and did not need. Why did I have to open an account when I paid cash (debit card, money was taken straight from my account). Oh and the reason the account was declined was because I tried to purchase the tv earlier in the day and their website crashed halfway through the order and I was then apparently flagged as unreliable..... Seriously!! if something is available anywhere else then use whichever company but avoid these bunch of clowns (thats actually not fair on clowns) and buy from someone else.

Why can't I leave less than 1 star. This company is a seriously terrible joke. Tried to buy a TV, had to open an account (even though I was paying via a debit card with cash ready in the bank) which was incorrectly declined (they apparently used my wrong date of birth) nobody bothered to inform me even though delivery date had been confirmed, a days holiday had been booked to enable delivery and money was taken from my account. I asked for a manager to call me back to explain and to assure me no credit rating would be affected...... guess what, no call. Currently chasing my bank to reclaim my money. Words cannot explain how terrible this company actually is, be warned avoid at all costs, this is just a small description of the total mess they have made of a very simple process.

Ordered a bedside table and it arrived broken. 5 separate occasions we have phoned to get it replaced. They came and picked up the broken furniture and we are now out of pocket and missing furniture we paid for as they are not in any rush to replace it. Every member of staff we have spoken to have been rude and unhelpful. Outrageous customer service. We have been told there are no managers to speak to and despite them assuring us we would receive a new bedside table on the 26th it never came. Again phoning to question why and we were again pushed aside and spoken to in a rude manor. Disgusted with the service and appalled that such a big company are unwilling to refund or assist for their mistakes. Do not shop here.

The worst company I've ever dealt with! I created an account on their website about a month ago. I've passed all my credit checks etc. A couple of weeks later I ordered a pair of sunglasses. They were due to be delivered on Saturday. On Saturday morning I received a phone call and was asked for my passport number. I was then told that my passport number was not valid! I go on holiday at least twice a year and I've never had any problems with my passport. I assume my passport was rejected because it's Lithuanian! I have never had such a bad and racist experience. A couple of weeks later I tried to place an order and pay in full, however my order was rejected!!! I entered my card details etc.,but was unable to complete payment. Thank you for your 'excellent' customer service. You have today lost a customer who was willing to spend £180! I assume it's not a lot of money for such a big company but if you keep treating your customers like this you will lose more!
