Windows 10 szoftver probléma.

Really expensive for what it is. Beside, moodeaudio, is simpler to setup (no need of a plugin for Spotify server) and give on par features for free.

It quit working after 1 day, and no matter what I did, I have been unable to get it to work again. My iPad tells me that it connects to the Raspberry Pi via Blutooth, but when I open the app, it endlessly says that it’s “searching for a device”, whereas before, it would go right to my Tidal library and I could select and play music.

Attempting to use this streamer has been nothing but frustrating. Upon receiving the Primo I discovered that it had a defective power supply. I purchased a power supply replacement from Amazon and powered the Primo up. I purchased a lifetime superstar license but could not find streamer options from the sources menu. I contacted Volumio and was told how to find options for Qobuz and Tidal. I signed up for both and all was well for 3 days. Today I discovered that my Tidal and Qobuz account is missing from the source menu. I cannot stream Qobuz and Tidal because they are not in the sources menu. I would like to return the Primo for a refund.

i’m sorry to say but my first impression after initial setup of voluminous primo hifi edition was not very positive. software unstable, slow and unpredictable connection switching to and from spotify. overall user interface and experience a little frustrating. but meaby this is nog the streamer for me. to be honest i switched to bluesound. it just works and i like having the few controls on the unit. just to turn music of or on without looking for my phone.

Too immature and impractical. I have a Google ChromeCast Audio 96 KHz / 24 bit, connected to a splendid Yamaha A-S1100 and Indiana-Line Speakers all with professional wiring, very satisfied but, I was hoping to hear better quality with Allo-Boss 1.2 and Volumio's curiosity but I am very disappointed and disoriented by so much hype. -Amazon Music HD does not exist, (1 star volume) -So Tidal subscription but if active MQA works at 24bit, if deactivated MQA goes to 32bit therefore unreliable (1 star volume) -I try Qobuz but the quality is identical to the ChromeCast Audio therefore useless (1 star volume) -I am looking for a sort of VolumioCast to transfer music directly from the phone with services such as Qobuz, amazon Music etc ... but there isn't. (Volumio 1 star) -The Volumio application is not very intuitive it does not show the real screen of the streeming service in use, such as the suggestion of the songs according to taste. (Volumio 1 star) How many stars do you deserve ?. conclusion: With the expense of Volumio Virtuoso + Raspberry + Allo Boss, it was better if I was aiming for a (cambridge cxn v2) or looking for cheaper but more functional ChromeCast Audio. I will definitely not switch to Volumio Primo would be ridiculous

Not supporting many Intel LAN and WiFi cards. Was not able to run on 3 year sold Lenovo T470 Thinkpad.

Couldn't get computer based music mapped as a NAS location after spending hours tinkering with sharing settings etc. Ended up going for a different product that was more seamless to install and find local music more easily.

Yes, it is a very good platform and idea behind it, but even with spending lots of hours with trying, testing, image-burning and so on i have ALSA-errors every time when the raspi has been restarted. Only a new flashed sd-card works until the raspi was shut down once. Maybe it´s a hardware based problem with the new hifiberry DAC2 Pro? I don´know. But i know, that i can´t use Volumio with this DAC at the moment. If the problem can be fixed, Volumio would be worth 5 stars, no question ;-)

I used Volumio for a while, but ran into trouble with linking my network drive and had other stability issues. Reinstalling Volumio did not work, and I am now using another music player which does not give me any issues at all.

I tried it in order to be able to play Tidal on a raspberry bi and I found I have to pay another subscription for that. It's ridiculous. And expensive. Not recommend at all.

Not stable. When it works, it works well, but come back later to use it, I need to reset it. What's the point of being able to control the sound from your computer, if you have to walk over to the amp and speakers every time? Bluetooth would be nice, but you hold that back for the paid version. I just wiped out Volumio and made a bluetooth receiver only. BTW, I had three RPis with Volumio running at one time. I've been trying it for more than a year, but have given up now.
