“Great price on the 230lb set. Have only used a few times at this point but appear to be excellent quality. Shipping was fast. Glad I went with the Vulcans. Very happy with this purchase.”

“Shipping was pretty quick. The bumpers themselves seem high quality. They do have that new rubber smell, but I'm sure that will disappear soon enough. I bought these bumpers on clearance and think I found a great deal.”

“Bought 2 pairs of kettlebells. The 24kg pairs the powder coat on the handles were poorly painted, their were clumps and as a result it chipped off during first use. The second pair of 20kgs I bought the paint was mismatched and the look and most importantly feel different in the grip. I want a matching pair that feels the same. Other then quality control issues the kettlebells are nice.”

“The training bearing Olympic B side bar I was provided had zero cosmetic issues - great! However, mechanically there is a fairly major issue. The spin is almost non existent. I have seen reviews of the spin and the bar I was provided does not match. I would have been more than ok with cosmetic issues - why I opted for the B side bar - but I am very disappointed with this issue especially since they claimed there would be none.”

David, the war you received is new and had some cosmetic defect. It is probably very minor. Please use the bar . It is a new bar and the bearing and internal lubricants need a little time to break in. Let us know if you need further assistance. vulcan@vulcanstrength.com

“Not only are the Alpha Bumpers outstanding, the customer service is even better. Had a slight issue with one plate (UPS lost it) and one call to Vulcan and boom, plate is on its way. WOW. Do not hesitate to order from Vulcan, just great quality products and great prices. Love my plates!!!!”

“Vulcan has the absolute best 10# bumper plates on the market. They can actually be dropped without breaking or warping or bouncing out of control. In other words, they are the only ones that truly perform like bumper plates. And they are priced the same as everyone else's. Crazy.”

“I got the black bumper plates about a year and a half ago and have been using them several times a week since. They are great--very high quality and durable. I expect them to last basically forever. I'm so pleased that I'm ordering a few more to expand my set.”

“There were a few VERY minor blemishes on the bar. I'm sure that after a couple of weeks of use, they will blend into the normal wear patterns and no one would ever be able to tell the difference. I'd absolutely buy again to save the money (or use the savings to buy a better bar which is why I purchased the one I did).”

“I own Alpha Bumpers and Pro Hex Rubber Dumbbells from Vulcan. The Alpha Bumpers seem great, although I can't comment on their durability yet since they're still new. The Pro Head Rubber Dumbbells are nice for the price, but I was a disappointed by how big the rubber seam on the handles was; it digs into my palm a bit when holding the dumbbells and would definitely cause blisters if I did high reps of anything where the handle rotated during the lift. I think I will be able to fix the problem with a file since the seam is only rubber, but annoying to have to do that for brand new equipment.”
