“I had used the SSB from the gym on base a few weeks before I bought this one from Vulcan. No idea what brand the one at the base gym is. I found the Vulcan SSB online and as an honorably retired US Marine I try to support those organizations run by veterans. I used the Vulcan SSB Saturday for the first time and found it comfortable and well made. The padding was plenty good for the weight I worked up to (300 lbs) I really look forward to my next leg day as I have no incorporated SSB lifts into each leg day workout thanks to Vulcan. I think this is just as good if not better than the SSB at the gym on base and a heck-of-alot easier on the pocketbook if one wanted to purchase.”

“I ordered 360# of alpha bumper plates. Half of them showed up on time, for the other half they contacted me immediately, told me it would take another week and gave me a discount on them. Great customer service. Great product. Definitely recommend.”

“Very happy with my purchase. Will update my review after I get a few lifting sessions in. Overall bar knurling is great and found a few chips on the edge of the bar. Nothing to worry about especially since I did get a clearance bar. I'm extremely happy!! I will order more again!”

“I have yet to receive all of my plates, I ordered 280# and only have received a pair of 15# plates. That said, the plates are great so far! They perform well and I love the patterns and quietness when dropped.”
