“Good overall quality for the price point. Compares very good to any of the dumbbells on the market. The coated handle grips is almost like sticking to your hand like glue while using them which can be a big benefit for your hand grip not slipping off during use. Also in the colder months you will not get bare metal coldness feeling to your hands like other knurled metal handles. Overall happy with the purchase. The dumbbells arrived crated up and individually bubble wrapped and boxed up which really protected all dumbbells during transport. No issues unboxing, no marks, etc. Impressed for how they are shipped and arrived within a week after ordering. Also customer service was great when asking questions.”

“5 stars for steel quality, ergonomics, and grip. 3 stars for quality control. I'll start off by saying that you should buy these bells. I have 6 bells from kettlebell kings and I purchased 3 from Vulcan. Steel quality feels great and balanced. The wider window is absolutely fantastic and I find it much more comfortable for cleans, jerks, and snatches. My hand naturally falls into the wider window without banging my forearms and I think this is key for heavier weights like 24+kg where some forearm pressure is inevitable. The wider window also makes these comfortable for two handed swings like my hardbells, so it has the versatile of both a comp and hard bell. No pinky pinch with these comp bells! The sand blasted finish is SUPER grippy. It takes chalk well and I honestly don't even feel like I need much at all to keep these secure in the hand. All that being said, I was disappointed in the quality control. There were spurs and rough weld lines all over the handle, especially the inside of the window. I could not use these bells without slicing up my hands. I had to take some sand paper to the handle and the problem was solved completely. I will absolutely be back when I am ready to get some heavier bells in my collection. I think if Vulcan cleaned these up a bit they would out complete kettlebell kings in every way. Get some!”

“Great looking bumper plates. Assumption I made based on the "USA" stamped with the Vulcan logo was that these were made I the US...I was disappointed to see that these were made in China, thus unable to provide 5 stars, since that is important to me, to buy American products and support American manufacturing.”

“GREAT RACK!!! 👀 Ran into a small hiccup with one of the base post 4 holes not lined up properly. The good folks of Vulcan Strength Training Systems have been working vigorously to rectify the situation during the Holiday Season to replace the one post. I had to get 4 Holes Drilled, my post should be here soon,, a week and a half out from original drop off date Dec 23. NOT BAD TURN AROUND CONSIDERING THE TIME OF YEAR. The equipment is sturdy, sound and awesome once put together. Again I've ordered several pieces of equipment from Vulcan Strength and had a slight hiccup with one, sooooo I went with 4 stars all around.”

“Machine is awesome. Shipping wasn’t great. Boxes came mangled. Instructions for assembly were terrible. If I hadn’t built other gym equipment recently it wouldn’t have happened.”

“Gave a 4 only because no one is perfect. I have the bumper plates set, they seem to be the perfect fit for my home gym and my workouts. So far very durable as I am lifting and dropping during my interval weight training sessions which is a huge factor. To thumbs up and I am very happy with my purchase.”

“I have ordered multiple items from Vulcan and I have always received what was ordered and on time. Have engaged customer service a few times and have had any issues resolved to reasonable satisfaction. Originally was looking at Vulcan and another competitor which was much more expensive and made the decision to purchase my full rack from Vulcan, several sets of plates and have not been disappointed.”

“The 10lb bumpers are pretty good. They look good, feel great and actually hold up to being dropped from overhead. Only reason they get a 4 instead of 5 is size. They are quite smaller than the other bumpers so they look and feel a bit different when using them.”

“This is a relatively fair price for a solid, large lifting platform with the wood platform included. The materials seem well made and of generally good quality. There are imperfections, like nuts that require some hard wrenching to get on. Another oversight is that the wood is a bit thicker than the foam squares, so if you are walking barefoot you might stub your toe. But after you do that once, you won't do it again (hopefully). The shipment arrived with a corner piece missing, but the Vulcan folks shipped out a replacement asap. Be prepared that the shipping company, which does not specialize in home deliveries, might be annoyed. They made a big issue about bringing the 400 lb of materials up to the house, and refused to take their dilapidated old wooden pallet with them. And then they billed me for the shipment, even though Vulcan had paid it already; (Vulcan told me to ignore the invoice, so hopefully the shipping company isn't sending the bill to collections).”

Michael, freight delivery does not include inside delivery as specified on the website. The freight company is not responsible for removal of packing materials.
