“I want to start by saying this is a very nice bar. I was looking for a very specific bar when I bought mine and I thought this filled the billet. All black, 15KG, with a decent knurling. This bar seemed to check all the boxes. However the claim to a "medium" knurling just didn't prove to be true... The knurling is next to none. I'm a little bit upset by this because I was willing to spend the extra dollar for that and in the end I could have bought an identical bar for $100 less. It really is a great bar but if you're looking for something with a more aggressive knurling this is not the one.”

“I've had the bumpers for almost a couple months, these came will a strong smell but that was expected as its rubber. They seem really well made and feel like the right weight, I haven't actually weighed them or anything, the best part was the free shipping. No hassles and no reason to complain. There is a small thing make sure you take off the stickers they put in the hole in the middle or it will start to leave marks on your barbell. Otherwise I am completely satisfied with the product and would definitely buy from Vulcan again especially if they keep with the competitive prices they are currently at!”

“After doing lots of research, I settled on the Vulcan standard bearing bar. It has fantastic knurling, spin and whip. It performs just as good as any of the iwf European bars, for a fraction of the cost. I recommend this bar to anyone looking for a good Olympic bar at a reasonable price.”

“I just wanted a colored set of bumpers, and these were the best prices from an American company I could find. Can't imagine anything else being better. I would definitely order them again. They look good, and the quality is top notch. I only got the 90kg set, but plan on getting a pair of 25kg plates to have the whole set. If you're looking for plates, and your thinking about these, stop thinking and just get them. And no, I don't work for Vulcan. I'm just a normal guy who lifts in my garage.”

“After waiting a couple of months after purchasing the 230 pound set to arrive, was a bit long for free shipping and my account was never updated. When it arrived I was very pleased with everything. My one issue is that my 10LB bumper plate doesn’t seem to fit properly on my barbell. It gets about a quarter of the way down and it stops. Thinking it might be a problem across the board I tried all the bumper plates, which all fit fine. I don’t understand how one plate wouldn’t fit properly. All the holes are the same size and all the other plates fit fine, so I know it isn’t the barbell. I am happy with the product, especially the price, until I need to add a ten pound plate, such a headache. Just a tip, WD40 doesn’t help. I don’t know if they test for fitting before the ship, but maybe the company might want to take this into consideration.”

“I recently purchased the 340a lb set, and I am absolutely happy that I decided on Vulcan. These are a dead bounce bumper plate (very little bounce), so it was perfect for my home gym in the garage. Free shipping and cool colors-can't get any better than that.”

“Great piece of equipment, solid & sturdy. Was package really well even though Fedex destroyed the box. Non of all the pieces seems to stay in place and were not scratched. Awesome and very helpful costumer service when I called about assembly.”

“Do not expect the weight variance to be "within 25 grams". When I requested a replacement for a bumper 2 1/2 times this amount underweight I was informed "we cannot guarantee the weight variance on the econ color bumpers". I verified the weight independently with UPS scales. I was offered a full refund, if I returned the plates.”

“I received my Vulcan One bar in hard chrome shortly after they released it. It is an excellent bar with great knurling. I didn't think that it was very aggressive at first because it didn't eat up my hands like some. However, after a long workout, I realized that it was still grippy with sweaty hands. No chalk needed. I am very happy with my purchase!”

“After spending months researching bumper plates to try and find some that were high quality and did not cost $12 a pound, I came across the Vulcan color bumpers. After reading many good reviews stating that these were the best value for these types of plates, regardless of cost, I decided to go ahead and pick up a set of these. I am more than happy with my purchase and will be adding more plates to my set very soon. I would recommend these plates for anyone looking for some high quality bumpers.”

“This is a great axle bar for the price as long as you are looking for stubby length. I prefer the stubby length as it allows me to focus more effort on grip rather than balancing the bar. This bar really exceeded my expectations in quality. It's a solid piece of gear and the powdercoating offers just enough to keep the bar from being slick without adding too much grip.”
