“So far love these dumbbells, ordered the 5-50lbs set. One dumbbell has a weird yellow colored stain on it but otherwise all is in good order. They are comfortable to grip, and do the job they're intended for.”

“This is a relatively fair price for a solid, large lifting platform with the wood platform included. The materials seem well made and of generally good quality. There are imperfections, like nuts that require some hard wrenching to get on. Another oversight is that the wood is a bit thicker than the foam squares, so if you are walking barefoot you might stub your toe. But after you do that once, you won't do it again (hopefully). The shipment arrived with a corner piece missing, but the Vulcan folks shipped out a replacement asap. Be prepared that the shipping company, which does not specialize in home deliveries, might be annoyed. They made a big issue about bringing the 400 lb of materials up to the house, and refused to take their dilapidated old wooden pallet with them. And then they billed me for the shipment, even though Vulcan had paid it already; (Vulcan told me to ignore the invoice, so hopefully the shipping company isn't sending the bill to collections).”

Michael, freight delivery does not include inside delivery as specified on the website. The freight company is not responsible for removal of packing materials.

“Bought a bench and it will not sit flat no matter what we've tried. It has a significant wobble to it and is unsafe to use in our personal training studio. I own four gyms in Columbia, SC and won't be purchasing equipment from Vulcan again. I also bought a Kraaken light and currently trying to sell second-hand after having it for one week. It's unsafe to get on and off of. We've had two clients get hurt using it. The design is simpy terrible.”

Hi Jason, Thank you for your feedback. We have spoken to you about your specific concerns with the Kraaken. We haven't received this feedback from any other users and the Kraaken is used in many gyms (Commercial and Home) without issue. It seems there is no malfunction with the item and it's a case of members not knowing how to perform the exercises on the apparatus. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the Coach or Gym Owner to ensure that the members know how to mount and operate the equipment properly and safely. GHR Raises/extensions and Reverse Hypers are complicated movements that require instruction and a certain basal level of strength and coordination. Ultimately, the Kraaken may not have been the best choice for your specific application. This is the first report we are hearing from you in regards to the bench. Please provide further information so we can assist with that. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

“I purchased a Vulcan Prime 3x3 competition flat bench press. Shipping was fast but a bolt housing stripped out of the bench seat when assembling. After 2 workouts, the cover is now ripped at the seam.”

“Vulcan Strength is refusing to pay for marketing services completed. I've contacted them numerous times but haven't heard anything back. Given the number of poor customer service complaints, I'd hate to know how many people they've ripped off. The return they received from the marketing far outweighed the costs of it. Unbelievable for a company of this size.”
