The mobile app is awful. Not user friendly at all and terrible to navigate. The wait times for customer service are 60+ minutes! Chat is slow as well. Took my almost an hour to get a live person on the phone to make a payment! I’ll be moving my loan out of here asap as horrible service.

Been a member (not for much longer) for 7 years or so. Can't stay logged into their online banking as it kicks me off. Can't pay bills through bill pay due to this. Credit Union is terrible. As soon as I can get to it planning on withdrawing all my money and going elsewhere. pathetic excuse for a Credit Union. They have been expanding across Florida as a "Big Credit Union". Can't stand their corporate BS. They are buying out 121 Financial where i have an account too. Will be closing that one also. If they had a zero star, I would choose that James Gordon Jacksonville, FL

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would! This company was used by the car dealership where we bought our VW. We have had the automatic payment set up the entire time and our own car insurance for two years. Our car was recently repossessed without any warning, and after we called, we were told it was because they were taking insurance coverage payment from our monthly auto payment without our knowledge! They tell us we now owe back payment for insurance and insufficient monthly car payments. Also, they say that in order to get our car back, we will have to pay the entire amount of the remaining loan or it goes to auction in one week. They made No email or phone call attempts whatsoever to try and clear this up like humans. So disgusted!

This is the second time my card got hacked. The first time recieved card within 7 days. This time I reported it on April 15th, April 25th I called to find out were it was, they told me it would not be to me till next Friday. That they did not put it in until the 19th, that was 4 days after I reported it. I explained that I have bills that are only paid with card, the man didn't care. This process is crazy Vystar is failing its customers.

VyStar Credit Union has to be the worst bank in history. For them to receive payments from my grandmother on a regular and not to mention ON-TIME basis, they have stolen funds from her and have removed every opportunity to remediate the situation where we had an open loan. The goal was to have the loan refinanced and removed from my grandmothers name and put into my name. The will she had in place for me to receive her final vehicle was dismissed. In the initial process before we were made aware, VyStar’s death processing department removed all of her funds and placed the funds onto the principal of the loan. I tried to turn over the vehicle to receive the funds and they told me they would work with me. Though very upset, I understood their process and followed it. I was told on multiple occasions that I had time to get her affairs in order. Her death certificate was approved mid-February. At that time, the first payment hadn’t arrived. I was told different things by different people that as long as the loan wasn’t in default I would be able to continue the loan and the proceeds from her several bank accounts were not to be used to offset the loan. Well that was a lie because the funds were applied. I was given multiple run arounds. I went to the courts and spent hundreds of dollars just to start the process for the letter of admin that I was instructed to get. While in the process I made sure there was adequate insurance on the vehicle and the loan was in good standings. The issue came in when I made the first payment and they didn’t have record that I made the payment. I have emailed my proof of insurance and they still stated I didn’t have any and they applied the no insurance fee which made the loan past due. They mailed a letter stating that the fee would be removed because the insurance was sent to them and it wasn’t removed. I received a call stating that they were repossessing the vehicle if I did not get the letter of admin by April 15th. Well here is April 19th and they are telling me they are repossessing the vehicle. They only gave me 60 days to have the vehicle refinanced. In that process, leaving a set amount for me to have the vehicle refinanced for and to get a letter of admin. There is no way any affairs could be done that quick, not even probate. Vystar is the worst bank to have and they have no regards to death of their members and their heirs. I would encourage many that has their funds tied up into Vystar to read over the terms and conditions as they could screw you over and make a mockery of your family as they did mine while in the toughest times. I will be reaching out to the BBB and CEO/President Brian Wolfburg in this matter because this has truly disturbed our peace.

I was with Vystar (Jax Navy) since the early 90's there customer service back then was second to none. Now they don't care if they have customers or not. I've had so many issue in the last couple of years. They changed my address even though I'm still at the same address for over 30 years, then it took three visits to get it fixed once I figured it out, no help from them. They started treating my wife like she wasn't authorized to do anything with the accounts even though she had been handling the transactions for years on our "Joint" accounts, not to mention the rudeness of some of there customer service reps when you finally do get through after waiting extremely long, and the online fiasco that I don't think is fixed 100% yet. I finally had enough and closed all of my accounts. Do not recommend this institution, unless you like being treated poorly for them to tell you what and when you can do something with your money. Terrible customer service now.

Vystar is a joke. I have had nothing but issues ever since I got my auto loan through them! I pay my bills every month and I always pay early ! They are trying to tell me that I missed a payment and I have paid every single payment ! If I was missing a payment wouldn’t you think they would call or send a email . Also I was getting my statements every month and it did t say anything on those statements about me owing anything. I am not happy at all . I’m going to look into and see if I can change companies

If you could take your business else where! The Winter Garden branch associates are not well trained and they don’t know what customer service is about. From the associate to the assistant branch manager there, simply unhelpful. They will tell you what you want to hear when you show up at the branch, when you try to call or email you got no response. I will close my account with VyStar.

I asked to have cancelled checks copied as the newer online system does that work. I was told in a rather rude way by teller James at the Fleming island branch I had to have someone other than the tellers to do that. Usually that either requires a long wait or an appointment. I was told I offended the teller nearly by trying to explain my disbelief after nearly 8 yrs with Vystar to be treated in such an unprofessional manner. I would like to speak with a bank executive. Thank you.

I've had the same account with Vystar since 1981. Yes, 43 years. I've always been happy with VyStar up until the last 4 years. First the system implementation that went wrong. And now every thing takes 7-10 days to process. I opened an additional checking acccount and transfered my money from my linked account. Yes my money. Well 5-7 days for and internal transact to hivlt the new account. They are literally holding my money. When I opened the account I asked for a debit card. In the past they generated a debit card immediately. Now, 5-10 days that has turned into 2 weeks. Their service is far from what it used to be. It's time for a change!

I used Vystar to purchase a car with their car loan. They continue to charge me $180 a month for insurance. I have full coverage of my own I have provided proof sever times up loaded my policy declaration page, emaild it, personally brought it into the credit union . Sat on hold with them for hous at at time on 7 different occasions. For them to tell me the issue is resolved then a month later all the charges come back and I am charged again. They have ruined my credit score, caused me to miss work and the issue is still not solved!!!

My card has been hacked twice in a matter of two months. The VyStar branch near my location no longer prints debit cards. Instead you have to call the customer service and have it shipped which takes 7-10 business. It took THREE representatives to finally get my card shipped to me and I spent over a month without access to my money because no one would do the bare minimum required of their job to send out my card (in which takes DAYS to receive!). My thoughts.. 1) if this bank is not going to provide the extra security measurements to protect the customers money then they need to at least print debit cards at every branch. If that isn’t feasible for whatever possible reason, then at the bare minimum over night every debit cards so the customer has access to THEIR money. I had bills over lap in the process and my credit score was affected. Again, all due to their employees not sending out my card MULTIPLE times. I am currently in the process of finding a more reliable bank that allows me to have access to my money and pay my bills on time without my credit score that I have worked so hard for being affected!

How about when I called 8 days ago to request a new debit card by mail, and my card never arrived? I called the customer service number and spoke to the same lady from 8 days ago. Supposedly, she ordered my card, but in fact, she never did. She tells me the card was not shipped due to an update on my profile, which is false! I never updated anything; she just never shipped my card. Additionally, it is absolutely hard to understand her; she mumbles a lot and did not give me a proper explanation. This is the second time this lady has answered my phone call, and it is the most terrible experience I've had with bank customer service. Please teach these people proper customer service and consider re-evaluating Mrs. Hanes's employment, as she seems unable to fulfill her job duties correctly.

WARNING!!!! This is the absolute worse banking experience I have ever endured in my entire adult life. Their employees drop the ball on things and then your the one that has to clean it up and suffer for their incompetence. In all seriousness, if your considering them for an auto loan, mortgage, or using them as your bank, think twice they are completely rude, unhelpful and they have corrupt, shady, and down right rude customer service. Find another Financial Institution, you will be scammed and treated terrible. By far the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and stay very far away from this Crapshow.

Please if you even get scam or some type of fraud. Don’t count on VYStar because they really won’t give your money back. It is sad because i really thought being in a credit union bank they would always help you and unfortunately no they did help me.

In September 2022, I had a horrendous experience with Vystar and lost more than $391,000. My 72 year old husband has multiple health issues and when his medications are not working he suffers from attacks of extreme mania. He had suffered two previous episodes, in August was given Loritabs, and by September 1, he was in complete mania. I was in continuous communication with his doctor and with our attorney and on September 2, 2022 I closed our joint account at Vystar and moved the more than $391,000 to an account in my name. My husband had taken more than $10,000 from this joint account in the days before, so at the advice of our attorney I moved the funds out of his reach, or so I thought. In my husbands drug induced mania, he was out buying new tires and was leaving to go the the casinos in Biloxi. With $10,000, he would have been back in a week or so with relatively little damage done. On September 6, without contacting me, Vystar released the $391,000 to him and he was off to the races. Casinos from Biloxi to Arizona were beneficiaries of Vystar wonton negligence. Only after ending up in the hospital in Arizona and having run through the money was he able to get sobered up. Stuck in Arizona with no money, pathetic and remorseful, my senior citizen husband was as much of a victim of Vystar as I was. Living alone at a time when he needs someone more than anything, he's a living husk of the man he once was. At this point, the money is irrelevant. It cost me my marriage of 28 years, my peace of mind in knowing my money was safe in the bank, and my trust that people will do the right thing when they err. At 59 I'm picking up the pieces and trying to restart my life because of the careless mistake of a Vystar employee. Vystar has the nerve to try to sue my ex-husband and suing him for 3X damages. What about the damages to my life? Never risk your money with Vystar.
