“Unfortunately Waitrose on-line do not impress me as much as other on-line supermarkets. They consistently over charge for plastic bags charging 40 pence and sending some items in 4 bags and the bottles loose so they are difficult to carry. Todays order was difficult for me to move the bottles as I only got 4 bags for my 40 pence. I will go back to using Ocado who have much more offers and they actually buy back the bags at 5p each to re-use or recycle. Currently I can get Waitrose products via Ocado and often pay less for them. No contest I will go back to Ocado every time.”

“In Waitrose Christchurch Dorset this morning early when a lovely assistant came up to me and asked if I would like a bouquet of flowers! She said they wanted to make someones day! Amazing, thank you Waitrose.”

“Recently purchased waitrose n partner frozen chicken n leak meal from two, unfortunately it looked like one chicken breast was divided into two, so really a meal for one! Very disappointing”

“I bought two chicken legs fed on an omega 3 enriched diet. They were oven cooked on a bed of Mediterranean veg and finished off in a red wine and passata sauce. This is tried and tested for super tasty and tender legs. It was neither. Sauce was great. Legs were chewy and lacked much flavour. Very disappointed when you spend so much effort on preparation.”

“Just went into Waitrose and picked up some Pom bears for my screaming daughter and apparently you can only buy them with a children’s bag so Waitrose put them in the bag then rather than letting children see them, want them but can’t have them.”

“I purchased a Chicken and Coconut Curry Noodles and have just tried to eat it. It was like trying to eat soup with a fork. The flavour was great but the ratio of noodles to sauce was sadly out! Disappointing”

“I love sushi, recently I was recommended sushi from Waitrose as a cheaper alternative but I found the rice very vinegary and overpowering I purchased from two different Waitrose and the result was the same, I gave some of it to the friend who recommended and they told me it tasted differently to before, unfortunately I am disappointed.”

“Your granary loaves used to be really soft and chewy texture - what's gone wrong? They are now impossible to cut without the outside crust falling to bits. Look on the shelf - they are inevitably showing signs of the crust separating from the rest of the loaf before they've even been handled. Also now dry and like cardboard when toasted - shame - will not be buying again.”

“Bedford waitrose café... Could not make me happy, because they could not supply a toasted hot cross bun with our tea and coffees this morning. Why? They sold out. When asked could they not get some from the shop floor, the reply was we are not allowed even though they are the same hot cross bins. Shabby waitrose and revenue lost!”

“I have a weekly order delivered. The delivery is always on time or even earlier if it is convenient. All the delivery drivers are very pleasant and friendly. The only negative is that not all the items are available and usually at least 3 items or more are not delivered even though they are available online.”

“I have visited Waitrose in South Harrow on Friday 05/04/19. The staff is always so helpful there. However I would like say a special Thank you to Aki from the Bread Counter. I absolutely love olive ficelle rolls, however they are always sold out. When I asked Aki if there are any left, he said no however he said that he would check the freezer, to my surprise. He found some in the freezer and kindly baked it for me in 10 minutes. Now if this isn't a fantastic customer service I don't know what is! Aki thank you for your amazing customer service and going the extra mile. You have made my weekend.”

“I'd like to comment on Waitrose 1 Perfectly Fruited Hot Cross Buns. In the absence of any other traditional hot cross buns in stock, I bought these, unnecessarily larger/two in a packet hot cross buns. Normally it is hard to go wrong with the traditional ones. However, these buns are severely lacking in fruit - is that perfectly fruited? - and very, very dry, with a nasty flavour. I will certainly not be buying again.”
