The product I bought worked great, but I sent an email to customer service online prior to buying to see if this is what I need. I never got any answer from customer service.

Ordered replacement Sunburst controller to replace one that wouldn't read the floor sensor. I order the one without wifi by mistake. Already installed. Wanted to send back just the front as I didin't wan to tundo all the wiring. Said couldn't do that. Then didin't even off a discounted amount for the new one since couldn't return old one.

At Warm Your Floor, we strive to provide the best customer experience possible, but we do have a return policy that limits us from accepting any items that have been installed or used, as we cannot resell them that way. We also don’t carry individual components like faceplates or partial units, since all of our thermostats are sold as complete systems to ensure compatibility and safety. Additionally, the non-WiFi and WiFi SunTouch models have different pin configurations and the plates are different, so unfortunately, the front and back plates aren’t interchangeable—even if they appear similar. We’re always here to help with product selection prior to installation, and we’d be happy to assist you further. Explain of exact square footage was not clear….particularly as relates to the fact that the length of wire must be exact. Your information of critical points is too wordy. Bullet points would be much more helpful. When I placed my first order it was not clear enough that the wire could not be cut. That is important for a first time user.

I bought a new Home Nuheat thermostat to replace the previous 15 your old Nuheat thermostat. The wiring directions were very confusing.

Sourced the website to find sizing answers for our small bathroom project. The total square foot age of the room is 64 square feet but the heated area is only about 18 to 20 square feet. I found it difficult to determine the proper length of cable to purchase. I had to go to another website to find a length matrix for the cable. Everyone told me to buy shorter, not longer, so that's what I did. I'm waiting for other trades to complete their work and then the tile setter can put the Ditra-heat down. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

We apologize if sizing was confusing, we have pre-built kits for ease of ordering, but not every size will be right for each project so we have all products that you can order individually, like you ordered. We also have a free quoting service if you're unsure of which size to purchase. Feel free to give us a call at 866-558-3369 before installation because once the cable is unspooled we aren't able to return or exchange sizes since it's considered a "used" cable at that point, and we want to make sure you get the right system for your project. The Wi-Fi thermostat controleld the floor just fine, the only two complaints are that there is no quck off button, and also the diaply only shows floor temperature, not the actual setpoint. Otherwise, its a nice looking controller.

the kit I received was not the kit I thought I had ordered. It did not include a loudmouth or any strapping, so I was delayed while I waited for additional shipments. also made the price considerably higher than expected, could have done better with another company.

My experience was great! Matt did the estimate and did good, the only problem is that the estimate was short one piece of underlayment. (I had to piece small pieces together to complete the floor.) see pic. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. Kelsey went above and beyond, even offering to pay the shipping on one more piece of underlayment.

Hard to find directions for replacing a unit. Written instructions weak. No need to replace ground as it did not connect to the new unit. Could figure it out with YouTube but it can be clearer.

Technical phone support was difficult. It took multiple calls to get someone to answer, and at least one of the calls was dropped by the support gentleman. Finally, used live chat with a helpful technician who showed me exactly what model I needed to buy as my 20 year old controller was no longer functioning. Delivery was fast! The installation instructions were very poor (2 PhD's and an electrician). The diagram is incorrect/misleading. Finally, looked a the back of the old controller where there was a great diagram and now it works.

The thermostat we have only comes in white -- which very much doesn't go with the red room its supposed to be in, so we got a black cover for the white block of plastic on my red walls. It kinda fits well enough for it to stay, but I will take some measurements and have a proper metal shop create [and powder coat, this one appears painted] a proper cover that 100% fits [not 95% fits]

Product was as described. Only negative was the price. Seemed very overpriced for a thermostat control only. The original also served as a night light and this replace doesn’t have that option. It must be shut off completely when not in use as far as ai can tell.

Contractor working on my floor failed to follow instructions & cut heating wire (the blue one on the orange mesh) after being told by us to "Not cut" the wire because we wanted more area heated. Initial call to CS told indicated that heater positively would not work w/o a patch kit...and that cutting off wire would dramatically increase the amperage (which puzzled me, as usually a longer wire has increased resistance which increases amperage). I immediately ordered a patch kit. But it arrived shortly after contractor talked to CS & made his "fix." When contractor called CS, he understood that all he had to do was connect the two wires (not the bare ground), seal off the end of the wire, and that it would work. He didn't test as instructed, but did check continuity. After tile was laid, he checked for heat, The floor did get warm, but very slowly and not to the extent of that under our original tile that was laid ~6 yr ago. Contractor said it was because of slower drying glue. Glue he used was not thinset, but something easier to work with that takes way longer to set/dry. If rating the original heating wire installation, TOP Marks would be awarded across the board. This time the rating of adequate was marked because of the comment saying that shorter wire increases amperage - which I understand is the opposite of what happens (longer wire has more resistance & requires more amperage??? But maybe I'm wrong?)

The thermostat works very well. Problem is this is the 3rd thermostat I've replaced in 10 years! I would have thought they would have lasted longer!! Ordered the product on-line.

Hi Stephen - Sorry to hear you have had to change the thermostat 3 times in 10 years! Please keep in mind, the thermostat you purchased has a 3-year manufacturer warranty. If something happens within this timeframe, please call us and we will assist you. We can also walk you through troubleshooting a thermostat to see if you need a new one. Po product is great. Can't be sure what electrician to use. Also tried to register with WarmUp. Account established with no email to activate account. Called and was sent a video. Just won't download app for phone. Just easier.
