“Comfortable accommodation , quality take-away food from Waveney Inn and friendly staff. Standard Wi-Fi poor and upgrade rather essential. Hot tubs a welcome bonus as weather was poor.”

“Stayed 3 nights in camper. Friendly helpful staff, nice site, clean facilities. Will be nice to come back when pool open and doors can be shut in restaurant. Kiosk opening times erratic due to staffing issues. Rained all 3 days but still enjoyed it. Thank you”

“I just want to say a big 'Thank You' really! You made our first staycation after lockdown so pleasant! The check in process was smooth and easy. The pod was great, so spacious and so clean, and it really felt like home for a few nights. I also don't think you could be beaten on price, it was such good value for money. The shower & toilet block was so clean, and so well kept, and probably the best facilities we've ever seen on a campsite. The location was ideal for little trips out. Our trip to the on-site pub was also great, the team were adapting so well to the 'new normal' and it felt very well organised. The service was great and so was the food!”

“The restaurant staff were brilliant. They were obviously getting used to working in a new way but were doing a great job. All facilities were lovely and clean. I felt very safe for myself and my family.”

“Stayed for 2 nights on the 1st day of opening after lockdown. The staff were amazing, made us feel safe and very welcome. Liked the Bitterne pitch with a camper van but could have done with some chocks as on a bit of a slope. The showers were very good and clean. Will definitely return. Once again, a big thank and appluase to all the staff, well done.”

“I booked this for my son and his family so we could all meet up after lockdown and what a fabulous weekend it was staff so helpful and friendly and it was like back to normal for awhile so clean and everyone was was so happy to be there just to relax and enjoy long live the Waveney River centre”

“We spent a night in one of the pods. The facilities were very clean (and regularly being cleaned) and we felt very looked after with the staff checking everything was ok. We really enjoyed our trip up to Reedham on the boat we hired and our visit to Wavemey River Centre. Thankyou for making our first trip after lockdown a happy and memorable one. We will be back for canoeing when it's less windy!”

“Staff were great, pub was nice admittedly only drank there but food looked nice. Accommodation was fair, had all you would need for home from home. Added bonus was a washing machine..Bed not comfy at all which was the main reason for going home a day early. Very disappointed that all the distances to local attractions etc were by river not land as Beccles described as local was a good 15 mins drive and all the beaches were at least 30 minutes by car .”

“We were booked from Friday 20th -Friday 27th March. Received an email at 8.50pm on Sunday 22nd saying site was closing down as from 10am Monday 23rd. We were unsure as to whether that was for new Arrivees or all staying there. We relunctly decided, due to lack more decisive advise, to pack up and leave. We did think a personal call to us in REEDHAM would have been the correct procedure. As we were driving off, I did have a short chat with 2 WRC staff, expressing our sympathy. We have enjoyed several visits to your site and we hope to be able to return again one day.”
