“This is a great location for exploring the southern broads. We stayed on the Kingfisher motorhome pitches which were a good size. The facilities were great and very clean.”

“Nice to be back at w.r.c.8&7 years since we were here. Enjoyed a tent experience this year. 1st time but we learned a lot so we will definitely be back. A nice peaceful &relaxing break for us both. Thank you. Also to all the staff and "crew"who were very helpful and friendly .thank them from us. .”

“We have spent the last 4 nights in the Oulton Penthouse. Good accommodation in a great location with very friendly staff. 2 issues which may require action. The en -suite shower was very slow in draining and we had difficulty locking the doors onto the balcony. As we left before 9.00am this morning we could not discuss these with reception. Enjoyed our meal at the Waveney Inn. Thanks for a great time at your centre.”

“Bit disappointed this year we stayed in Beccles Lodge and it wasn't as clean as it was last July when we stayed. Also Waveney Inn we noticed that when the tables were cleared no sanitising was done as routine, only saw it done on 2 tables.”

“Issues were - Bedside lamp in master bedroom, covered up with (looks like tissue) not working Shower. Cubicle needs attention, doors do not slide freely, Shower control not working correctly as could not control hot and cold water. Would definitely recommend this Penthouse.”

“We had a lovely time, the lodge was well equipped and spacious and the hot tub was fantastic, although we were very disappointed with the Wi-fi, only 512kbs and had a limited placed on it unless you paid an extortionate price of £30 for the maximum speed other than that all was fantastic”

“First ever clamping experience, wow was great, nice quiet mooring very clean site and facilities. Only down side was getting to it not that clearly sign posted, and post code didn't recognise in sat nav. But was great stay we would certainly do it again”

“Shower area, kitchen area (to wash dishes) and laundrette were clean and tidy. Enjoyed foot ferry across the bank. I understand you have to reduce menu but would have been nice to have choices for starters aswell. Thourghly enjoyed sunrises I am not sure of the lady name she had been cleaning bathrooms and kitchen area and the Yurks. She was friendly and chatty enjoyed talking to her. Was my first time camping in UK. I have been used to camping in South Africa”

“In these times, one of the most important features is how safe one feels with the Covid-19 measures, and I thought these were very well thought out for the showers, WCs, and tent spacing. I went for a kayak paddle to Somerleyton and back one evening and I saw swans, herons, kingfishers, and for the first time ever, a wild otter emerged about 4 feet away.”

“Friendly reception and very patient with the customers. All of the staff were great but our outstanding thanks goes to Andrew, not only sorted out a hose to short but came back to make sure we were all set, smashing guy. Lovely outlook and enjoyed our stay .... booked for 2021 already.”

“First visit and very impressed. Great staff in the Waveney Inn and friendly helpful crew when we hired our canoes. Very comfortable accommodation. Just one slight improvement for us would have been a little more privacy for the Hot tub and deck.”

“In the midst of a pandemic here we found a safe staycation ! With all of the staff even though having to adhere to safety rules remained exceptional . The rooms in the hotel are spotless and sanitised , crisp sheets and fluffy towels . The restaurant gave a varied menu with excellent breakfast and dinners cooked fresh and of good quality. The area is beautiful - boat hire brilliant ! Thank you for being much more than we anticipated - Top marks all xx”

“I stayed at Waveney for 2 nights with my family. The Beccles lodge was great for the four of us. My Grandad uses a wheelchair and it was perfect with ramp access, accessible bathroom with seat in the shower for him. The park has a pub, swimming pool and kids playground (none of which we actually used) book ahead if you want to eat in the pub as we couldn't get a reservation. Great place for a chilled few days!”

“Thank you so much for a lovely weekend. We couldn't be more pleased with our lodge. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The waveney restaurant/bar was reasonably price, food was delicious, staff were always happy and very helpful. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Thanks again 🤗🤗”

“We had a great stay in Ellingham Lodge. Spacious and very comfy with all everything we needed for a great break. Hot tub was great and the Waveney Inn can deliver great tasty food to your lodge.”
