“Fantastic views, friendly staff and a snug lodge with its own hot tub what more could you want. We had a relaxing break escaping from life’s pressures in this ideal little place.”

“Lovely spacious lodge in quiet beautiful surroundings. Comfy beds and lots of fluffy towels. Downsides were no hooks on doors for dressing gowns, there needs to be an electric kettle, the knives need sharpening and more toddler play equipment in the play area would be a bonu but other than that the hot tub was lovely and the luggage itself was warm, cosy and clean. The church down the road is a beautiful hidden gem, absolutely fascinating. Also a must do is tbe full day boat trip from the centre, a great way ro explore (the ship at reedham was a nice stop off and oulton broad was a good stop fire kids with a huge play ground for all ages). BeWILDERwood is absolutely enchanting and amazing for both children and adults, definitely worth a visit. Overall a fantastic stay, great location to explore our first time in Suffolk and Norfolk.”

“Not the best pitch area. The large hexagon plastic ground cover is exposed in many areas of the site this was very difficult for children to walk on and I had to carry my dog in and out of the awning and he is not small.Although not busy I would feel it rather crowded if it was. Pool good, showers need attention but kept clean.”

“Easy access from the river via kayak. Easy to book. Nice friendly welcome. Ultra clean showers and pool changing facilities. Pub on site first class food and service. Really nice helpful staff. Nothing not to like at all.”

“We had a brilliant weekend, the lodge was clean and had everything we needed. Everyone loved the hot tub. We hired the admiral day boat for 2 days which was brilliant. Will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“We had a one nights stay at the Waveney Hotel and would have liked to have stayed longer. The room that we had an excellent view over the marshes and marina, was very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good with excellent service. Staff were very competent and professional. Couldn't have asked for more.all in all an excellent visit and will return”

“Lovely room, lovely view. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only minor complaint was that I didn't get my cereal for breakfast and my husband didn't get his wholemeal toast, they gave him white. Both minor complaints and would definitely stay here again.”

“We really enjoyed our stay this weekend, even though it threw it down this morning, but we can't account for the weather! The Waveney Inn was great last night, the pool made for a very enjoyable afternoon. The only issue we found was that the secret garden has a fence against the bank edge that has fallen down and left exposed nails and screws sticking up close to where the kids were playing and this clearly needs attention. We'll be back!”

“Really loved the cosyness of the Escspe Pod and the way it looked over the playground so we can keep an eye on our kids while they play. Loved using the swimming pool and that it was included in the price. It is the reason we chose to stay here. Pool was good except there were some broken lockers in the pool area and the floor really needed mopping, spa pool was not working. Could not get a coffee before 9am though.. It should open earlier!”

“Great location and lovely lodge , staff very helpful and pleasant .Unfortunately we did have to wait until just after 5 pm to get the keys due to a busy weekend the lodges took longer to clean , the staff were apologetic and is offer a free coffee while we waited. The lodge was clean and tidy although for this time of year ( first week in April ) was in need of a deep clean i.e blinds and outdoor furniture . The pool was clean and warm and the set up was good so you could enjoy a swim pretty much when you wanted due to having your own fob to get into pool . we only used the inn on one occasion and the food and drinks were very enjoyable .”

“Had to wait an hour for our keys. Which was frustrating as we hadn't arrived until after the arrival time advertised. Lodge was clean but could do with some extra care and attention. Comfortable and spacious. Dog friendly.”

“From the moment we arrived we loved the Waveney River Centre. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, the lodge and view were amazing and the food at the Waveney Inn was very good too!”

“We had a great family long weekend at Waveney River centre celebrating a special birthday and Mothers day! The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The star of the show was the hot tub which was so warm and ready for us on arrival. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that we were unable to book out a boat as we were 2 days early for the season which was sad as the weather was amazing-so we so have appreciated more flexibility with this! We ate in the restaurant which was excellent value for money so we shall be back! - thank you”

“Nice site but not for us will not be returning. The pitches where ok but the plastic grid underneath the gravel was very exposed in places and there was some litter around the pitches. Lovely views, it’s a shame you can’t walk further along the river from the site. Didn’t like that children were allowed to play football outside the yurts. I don’t think ball games should be allowed that close to where people are staying.”
