“This is the 3rd time I have ordered lights from this company and not once, not twice but 3 times have they taken 7-10 days delivery time, not what I had paid for. In fact this order that I am reviewing cost £8.99 for express 1-2 days delivery promised pre Christmas and still haven't received them 8 days later!
When the same happened with my 1st order I complained and asked for my delivery charge back to which they refused and said I had to take the matter up with EVRI, to which I replied that my contract was with them and not EVRI and WeRCHRISTMAS were breaking UK consumer law, refund did arrive. I will be claiming my delivery charge back again and maybe even have a claim against non delivery of my order.”
“Bought wreath in time for Christmas (week before) and it’s still stuck at an Evri delivery centre. Why do companies insist on using Evri ? Let the customer choose a courier, pay a small amount extra and receive the goods on time. As it stands if the wreath is ever delivered it will go into storage for 2026 Christmas.”
“The tree is lovely but the customer experience was appaling. Using Parcelforce, the worst delivery company, save a few pounds was a disaster. I had yo chase and chase again both WeRchristmas and parcelforce, wasted so much time, they were both unhelpful. BTW it's incomprehensible that you can only communicate with WeRchristmas by email, they have no phone! After a couple of days, I reached a dead end, my tree was lost. I decided to go to Parcelforce Depot, I gave them a photo of what the pakaging looked like and they finally found a tree. Total nightmare, won't recommend WeRchristmas. Worst customer experience possible”
“I ordered a Christmas tree with express delivery of 1-2 days. When it didn't arrive, I looked at the website to find that express delivery isn't available for my postcode and it would take 8 working days! After lots of frustrating emails back and forth (each response came from a different person) I contacted them via Facebook and requested a refund with the company and through PayPal. It finally got approved and I have my money back.
I guess they maybe over extended themselves as seem to have a lot of poor reviews of late.”
“As I opened it I was like oh how lovely then looking for the battery pack found the plug but as it stated you can be either mains or battery but nope no battery pack I’ve emailed you so hopefully will resolve this issue”
“Not impressed, one of the electrical wires was missing the protective screw cap that secures the wires together and werchristmas don’t keep spares or replacement items an even after sending pictures of the problems wanted a video that would have shown exactly the sam problem. The tree is also not as full as I’d expect for the price even after 2 hours of fluffing the branches. Also ended up with a few branches falling off during this process as if they had never even been stretched”
“While the product is great and the price is fair, the company has been let down by their choice of Evri as their delivery service. Yet again, delay after delay and eventually the parcel was left at a back door. But not my door. Oh no. That would be too easy. Once again it fell to me to track down something sold by one company and delivered by another. Due to their poor choice of service provider they have now lost a customer. I suggest you also think carefully before purchasing from them or get a guarantee that they will use a reliable delivery service”
“The bow i purchased wasn't made very well as the bow wasn't centred so made it look odd. The padding in the tails were all twisted so looked lumpy...I reached out to the seller and was told the now needs fluffing to look like it does on the website.
No amount of fluffing made it look right...I steamed the tails to get the creases out but it still doesn't look right...”
“Very pretty and elaborate garland. However, I expected it to be battery operated and not plug in. Consequently I was unable to display it where planned. It should have been made clear in the advert.”
“I personally would not purchase from this company again. The products are cheap, mass-manufactured items that are comparable to pound-shop or Temu quality, yet sold at far higher prices.
The returns policy is equally disappointing. Return postage is at the customer’s expense, and on top of that they charge an additional, unjustified “restocking fee.” This feels unreasonable, especially given the poor quality of the products.
Overall, the quality does not match the price, and the returns process places all the risk and cost on the customer. I wouldn’t recommend this company.”
“This order has still not been delivered! Meant to be delivered last Saturday but as usual Evri are the worst couriers ever and I still don’t know where my order is”
“I want to give a higher rating because the garlands that arrived today are fine, but the customer service approach makes it difficult.
My experience involved split deliveries, wet/damaged boxes left on the doorstep, and a wreath that is currently missing. When I contacted support, the response was polite but dismissive. Regarding the damaged boxes, I was told they have "no control" over the courier. Regarding the missing item, they won't assist until 7 days have passed since the last update.
As a customer, I understand delays happen, but a company is responsible for the couriers they choose to partner with. Hiding behind rigid policies when items are missing or damaged isn't the best way to handle Christmas orders.”
