“Very disappointed with the tree - would have been lovely if the top half of lights worked. Customer service slow to respond to faulty item. Several emails sent informing them of fault and picture and video sent in as requested. Got fed up with waiting for replacement so asked for a refund and still waiting for a returns label to be emailed to me. You can’t speak to a person either - all communication is by email etc.”
“I have never received them. Evri has left them in unsafe place whilst we were away, and they've got stolen. I have reached out to them but they haven't responded yet. Very sad, as this has ruined our Christmas tree decorations and have to find alternatives last minute. Currently I'm in touch with our concierge to see who stole them reviewing the security footage.”
“Despite numerous e mails I haven’t received my garland - and I do not have hope that I will get before Xmas - so disappointed - yes I made a mistake with the address /postcode but I have repeatedly e mailed but still no reply and no garland will not purchase from here again as they are unable to sort beyond disappointed ☹️”
“Edited review: Having just completed my 5 star review, where I couldn't comment on the longevity of the product, 3 hours later I can - as the lights have stopped working alteady!! So that's 4 days of operating and they're going in the bin!
I bought the Spiral pathway lights (set of 4) and love them. They're big enough to be festive but not too big that they get blown away in winter gales. Delivery was quick & packaging was good. I've only had them a couple of weeks so can't comment on their longevity - I'll only know that when I take them out again next Christmas”
“Unfortunately, the delivery was 5 days delayed. The team did refund my postage. However, now I have the lights and they do not work. I have emailed customer support but no response. Very disappointing.”
“If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.
I ordered a tree that turned out slightly smaller than expected, so I placed a second order for the same tree in the larger size, paying for next day delivery. I then wasted an entire day waiting for it, only for nothing to arrive. When I contacted customer support, I was casually informed that there was a “known issue” with Parcel Force that would delay deliveries - something they knew about but never bothered to tell customers. They couldn’t tell me the length of the delay, or even if my order would ever arrive.
Since this was a time critical purchase, I asked for a full refund. They refused. I was told I had to wait for the parcel to eventually show up (at some unknown time), reject it at the door, and only then would they consider issuing a refund. Jude, the representative I was dealing with, was shockingly unprofessional - using emojis while handling what was clearly a formal complaint. When he escalated the issue to his supervisor, Morgs, I expected some competence. Instead, I got the exact same dismissive attitude and a repeated refusal to refund a product they couldn’t even confirm where it was or when I could expect delivery
By this point, a week had passed, and Parcel Force informed me they had never even received the parcel. No tracking, no location, no update - nothing.
Then, on Tuesday, I received a text saying the item was “out for delivery.” I waited in again all day, only to receive a message at 7pm claiming my address was “unknown” and the parcel was being returned to the sender - this, despite them successfully delivering the first tree to the exact same address days earlier.
The next day, I received a notification saying the parcel had been “delivered.” The photo showed a tiny 30cm box dumped in my garden - absolutely not a 7-foot Christmas tree. I sent the photos to WerChristmas. Unsurprisingly, no response. Again. When I got home it was some perfume that my other half had ordered from boots - not my Christmas Tree.
This company is an absolute shambles. The customer service is appalling-— evasive, unprofessional, and seemingly untrained and uneducated. I will almost certainly have to raise a chargeback with my bank, as WerChristmas appears determined to misquote consumer rights and hide behind outdated laws to justify hanging onto over £400 for a product that is either missing, misdelivered, or never dispatched in the first place.
I genuinely cannot express strongly enough how much you should avoid this company at all costs. Save yourself the stress, the wasted time, and the battle to get your own money back.
The picture is my '7 foot Christmas tree' that has been left in a safe pace”
“Rubbish service. Ordered with transformer in stock on website. 2nd order to be cancelled for no reason. Still sent the transformer for the lights they can’t provide. Don’t bother.”
“I ordered my Christmas tree with next day delivery I then waited 3 days and was told that the tree had been shipped and that Parcelforce was having delays. I then received another email the following week saying u had dispatched my order. So it was nothing to do with parcelforce. I will never be using this company ever again. Was fed pure lies from the beginning.”
