I bought two inturnal door from Wickes Stockton store but had to be ordered online from the store as they didn't have them in stock. I had to wait in all day as there couldn't give an estimated time for delivery. The doors arrived and I decided to hang them the next day as I had limited time that day. When I unpacked them I found that one of the doors was damaged I contacted Wickes and they ordered a replacement door to arrive the next day. I had to wait in all day again as they couldn't give a delivery time. I waited untill 4-30pm and decided to phone Wickes to ask if my door was on the delivery van. I was then told that the door was out of stock and didn't know when it would be available again. I explained that I had been sat in all day waiting for the door that wasn't even coming, they should of known that this door was out of stock when they ordered the replacement. I then contacted customer support, they offered me 20% discount off the damaged door and apologized for the inconvinianc. I personally think that the discount was an insult as I have to repair the damage and I've also lost a day's work. I'll never shop at Wickes again and nether will my customer.

I would never go back to Wickes. Our bathroom fitting was an awful unprofessional job. Took forever too. As we had a damp floor , which was well known to all concerned, they arrived on day 1 took the floor up and left. And i never saw a whole team of fitters again. Odd day here and there of one person. So the bathroom was not completed after a month! Wish I had known what awful bathroom fitters they employed and I would not have used Wickes and never will again! Customer care dont... they really dont care about the awful unprofessional fitters they use. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! there are other places to buy and fit bathrooms!

all i wanted was prices on kitchen units doors etc, bit like what b and q do, as i will be fitting myself, found a really nice range probably one of your dearest, asked for a price on a roller door cabinet to be told price varies according to range i buy, so it would appear one unit fits all but comes with different price lol, you want me to use your kitchen planning service tell you how much i have to spend and then you plan and then sell us some finance to make up the shortfall🤔 the attitude of your staff outweights there product knowledge one thing for sure i will not be spending my hard earned with yourselves

Disgusting customer service from start to finish. Would definitely say to anyone, go elsewhere they are not helpful, once you pay they don’t want to know.

Use Wickes if you don't mind receiving terrible customer service from rude and incompetent members of staff, you don't mind being lied to constantly and you are happy to have your time and money wasted.

Poor service levels & communication from Wickes. Delivery tracker says "delivered" but no delivery, called twice & after 2 long calls they say "Owww, the courier showed you delivery from one store to another" & I now have to wait for a further delivery! Bad on so many levels!!

Firstly, I wouldn’t even give the one star that I am forced to give. I took a day off work waiting for my delivery of internal doors, I had a text message last night saying doors will arrive between 8am-1pm today. I have been waiting for the past 5 hours and still have no doors. There is no tracking number or phone number to ring to chase your delivery - absolutely ridiculous. It is now passed 1pm and this is unacceptable customer service - at least have the courtesy to send an updated time schedule.

We had nothing but problems with this company. We installed a new bathroom last year. Starting with the designer, that wasn't very interested in her job nor giving us any advice, then the builders that were doing everything to increase the estimated quote as much as possible (by hundreds or even thousands of pounds!) and missing parts that extended the bathroom installation for few weeks. The bathroom was finally installed and working. A month ago the toilet cistern broke down. I believed it was still on warranty and called Wickes to fix it. They said no problem, it will be done in couple of days. They sent me a new cistern and went all quiet on me. I call them every second day and they keep saying, that they are looking for a plumber to fix it. They are looking for almost a month now, my only toilet is not working, I have to use a bucket to flush it. Today they told me that my warranty expired and they will fix it as a gesture of good will, but I am welcome to find a plumber and pay for it myself. Never again I will buy anything from them, not a single screw.

What an appalling customer service. Thank you Wickes for leaving me without kitchen for coming Christmas. The designer did not order enough end panels for the appliances, despite the fact I specifically come back to designer about this point. Kitchen was delivered yesterday, my builder cannot fit appliances as they need to be fixed to the end panel. Called Wickes Duty Manager, who said they can't comment on designers decision and can’t do anything. This week is the last week for worktop templating in order to be fitted before Christmas, templating cannot be done because my kitchen is not complete. No panels due to be delivered anytime soon, no help from the store I have ordered. Wickes how about sending me missing panels??? Have a good Christmas and thank you for ruining my family's one!!! Shame on you!!! I wish I never ordered from you!!!

Wickes need to stop employing lying, cheating, rude, incompetent staff members who have less customer service skills than a potato. Given how they treat customers so terribly, it's only a matter of time before the company collapses and goes into administration.

Do not get a kitchen from Wickes Bury Lancs Problems from day one, warped worktops delivered, wrong hob, faulty cooker and faulty fridge freezer, trying to get help from Wickes has been non existent, all smiles and promises until things started to go wrong. Sales person Adam said it's best to sort everything ourselves as he is just the middleman. (surely he gets the commission for this) Then told me I had to sort the appliances myself. For 2 weekends we had no appliances. Ended up speaking to a to Store Manager, who passed on his apologies with the promise of help. Have we spoken to him since. NO. We have sent an email to himself and the installation manager as between them surely we would receive some customer care. NO, NOTHING. Another weekend has gone by and still no counter-tops as they only delivered one, the second time. (How do they make any money with all the errors). They are coming again on Thursday with hopefully a top that won't be bowed. (fingers crossed) So since starting my kitchen at the end of October, still unfinished. The only help we have had is from the kitchen fitter, Mike. He has informed us and helped, as best he can. Be Warned.

WICKES LEFT US WITHOUT A TOILET FOR 4 DAYS - and the bathroom is still an empty shell. They abandoned the job after we made a complaint about their installers unprofessional and inconsiderate behaviour. They packed up their tools and left us with a broken toilet - broken by their incompetent installers - and a bare shell of a bathroom. We are having to rely on friends and family to use their showers. It has been a week now and we are still in this mess. They even left us without a DOOR on the bathroom - we've had to put a bedsheet up for privacy! I would have expected this kind of behaviour from a cowboy builder, not a national brand like Wickes. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELVES A NIGHTMARE AND DON'T EVER USE WICKES!!!!!!

Lying Wickes Installation Manager!! I have posted several critical but very truthful reviews on here about our disastrous kitchen installation! Wickes have removed the reviews! They don't want people reading about their Fraudulent and Incompetent kitchen fitters. Or their Booze smelling Installation Manager who Threatened me and accused me of assaulting, yes "ASSAULTING" the Wickes electrician!!! He then told someone he lied, but didn't make any apology!!! He is renowned for for bullying and threatening customers who complain!!! But Wickes's CEO didn't want to know!!! What a company!!! Let alone Wickes Customer Services!!! They also seem to employ Incompetent Liars!! I shall be naming the individuals shortly unless Wickes sort out the issues. So no doubt this review will be read by the lucky few.... before they have it removed!! Perhaps the new CEO, David Wood, would benefit from knowing as well. I would imagine Customer Services' report to him is full of glowing lies!! Read the other critical reviews on here!!! Make your own mind up!

Ordered oven on click and collect Ordered oven on click and collect. Soon text message, your order is ready for collection. On arrival shopping assistant says they don't have it in stock and he will arrange delivery to our home for the next day. Next day delivery. Oven damaged, all bent around, like someone dropped it. An hour waiting on the line for customer service. They arranged replacement for the next day. Next day noone arrived. Now 5 days since purchase, left with broken oven, waiting already 50 min for anybody from customer service to answer my phone call. What a waste of time. Never again shopping at Wickes

********Wickes Have Abandoned Us Mid-Installation******* We chose Wickes for a bathroom installation as we thought they'd be a professional and trustworthy company to deal with. We couldn't have been more wrong. They have abandoned the job and left us with nothing but an empty shell of a bathroom - no bathing facility, no wash basin and worst of all - no functioning toilet. The builders broke the toilet and have left us in a lurch and Wickes have washed their hands of the job and have walked out on us. There isn't even a door left on the bathroom, we've had to put up a bedsheet up in the doorway! This all started after we made a complaint about the builders being unprofessional and inconsiderate. It was escalated to the store manager and the installations manager. We thought they'd be able to come to a resolution, especially given the fact that the only toilet in the house is now out of use. But all they did was come to the house, take pictures of the bathroom, collect the tools and walked out, refusing to do anything more for us. I am in utter shock that a well known company like Wickes would treat a paying customer so badly. Since yesterday we've had to keep dashing to the local Morrison's to use the toilets there and are awaiting an emergency plumber to come install the new toilet. I am shocked and appalled by Wickes and want to warn potential customers to think twice before trusting them with any work.

A seven-month nightmare! If you are thinking of buying a Wickes kitchen – don’t. The reality is far removed from the slick adverts that promise excellent design and professional installation. Our problems started on the day the kitchen was supposed to be delivered – it wasn’t. A call to their customer service centre revealed that not only was the kitchen not scheduled to be delivered that day, a Friday, but Wickes were unaware that their own installers were due to start on the Monday. The timetable then spun out of control. Fitters for the granite work surface weren’t booked in on time with a result that the tiler’s slot was lost, and we were faced with the possibility of having to wait three months for the kitchen to be finished. Fitters didn’t communicate with installers or the Wickes installation manager. There was no evidence of any project management and the installation manager would only communicate by email. Numerous emails and complaints resulted in a marginal acceleration of the project, but we were effectively without a kitchen for a month. That, however, was only the start of the problems. The fitting was dreadful – panels were fitted at weird angles and large gaps were left between the wall and the units. Worse was yet to come. When the dishwasher didn’t work properly (because it had been incorrectly installed), the service engineer pointed out that most of the appliances were unsafe because they had not been given proper ventilation. This was a fundamental design flaw. Indeed, the service engineer told us not to use the cooker hood at all. Wickes were not interested. It took them another four months to cobble together some ventilation for the fridge and cooker, compromising a cupboard and wine rack in the process. We had no choice but to have the cooker hood taken out altogether. We opted for interest free credit which was provided by Hitachi. At the end of the first month of the project, I called Hitachi to advise them that I was unhappy with the kitchen and to ask in what circumstances Wickes could draw the money from them. They assured me that no drawdown was possible without my agreement. I have a recording of the call. Before the remedial work was completed, Hitachi broke their promise and paid Wickes. We took legal advice, but apparently kitchen contracts are notoriously difficult to take to court unless there are specific provisions for time and quality penalties. Added to that any case might expose us to costs if we weren’t successful. The solicitor who advised us had handled a number of kitchen claims. He pointed out that kitchen companies are quick to lawyer up and costs can be substantial. In the end we accepted a derisory offer from Wickes to settle the matter. Even then Wickes spun it out by paying by cheque and stating it would take three weeks for payment to be received. The experience has been an utterly dreadful one. We will never use Wickes or Hitachi again and if you are thinking of having a new kitchen, I would strongly advise you to avoid them at all costs.
