“Needed to do some handles to keep together oak leaves bundles for the steam bath. This is popular in Eastern Europe, Finland, the Baltic states. It is getting popular in the USA too. Looking for a good deal on 7/8” x 48” wood dowels I found Woodpeckers Craft. Very good deal! Almost half the price of what I used to pay. The quality of the wood dowels is excellent, fast delivery, excellent customer service! They make you feel like they want your business! I used to run around NYC looking for dowels. With Woodpeckers, one orders with the IPhone, and presto, very good quality dowels are delivered, and I never experienced the level of attention and feedback to the customer that Woodpeckers offers. Excellent job!”

“I enjoy building small projects. Years ago I actually did craft shows and my main item was a covered wagon night light. The wagon is less than 18" long. I mill all the wood myself except for the hubs and the dahl rods. I use the dahl rods for the spokes, the axles and the tongue. As you will see in the attached picture I use wooden beads for the hubs. I know some better crafters build the hubs from scratch. But I don't have that level of tools. Maybe someday.”

“Woodpeckers Crafts has exactly what I need for my Glowforge-cut projects. Fast shopping and great customer service. I did receive a few warped boards in my most recent order but I'll use those boards to cut small items and it won't be an issue.”
