“I bought a medium wool duvet and I am so glad I did. It is amazing, it keeps me the perfect amount of warm. I used to either feel cold in bed and need to wear warm pyjamas. If the temperature was not warm enough I couldn't sleep. But also I heat up easily and then overheat or sweat and wake up feeling dehydrated. I really love my new duvet and it makes it effortless to have a comfortable level of warmness throughout the night.”

“Menopausal night sweats are a horrible thing. I heard that wool pillows (I already have a wool duvet) can help and am extremely pleased to say that they do! The discomfort of having a head covered in sweat has definitely been improved by my lovely new wool pillow. Not only that but for the first time in my life I have found a pillow which really supports my head in the position it needs to be to avoid neck aches etc. Thank-you very much The Wool Room. :-)”

“I ordered an all seasons duvet (2 duvets that popper together). We have only used the lightest so far but it is perfect for summer use. We have had a wool duvet before so we knew that they are not as 'fluffy' as other types but it is very comfortable in use. I contacted customer services for some advice and found the lady at the other end very helpful and knowledgable about the products. The duvet was delivered very quickly.”

“I bought a king size fleece mattress topper. I have had a wool mattress topper before which was very good but this one is just fabulous. I have never slept so well. I am gradually changing all my beds to wool duvets, pillows etc. I would highly recommend them. Service was fast & efficient.”

“Really pleased with this mattress topper. Not as thick as I'd expected it to be, so pleasantly surprised at how soft and cosy it has made my rather firm mattress feel. Fits nicely on my king sized bed. Impressed with the speedy delivery from this company.”

“Bought two wool pillows as I'm not keen on the idea of feather ones as no supplier can 100% guarantee that they are cruelty free. Searching around I can across these - ideal as we wanted soft, washable pillows (hollow fibre ones claim to be washable but end up a lumpy mess)- and I like to support British industry too. Best of all you can adjust the amount of wool to get just the right softness. Okay so they are not cheap (although they were on offer at the time) but we intend to use them for a long time, plus hubby gets very warm round the neck in summer so we are hoping this will help. They've only had a quick try out so far as we are having building work done, but I think they are going to be great, and we are hoping to be back for more bedding! Very quick delivery too, in lovely carry cases so we can take them away with us too!”

“I like the products and bought a mattress topper. It isn't as "natural" as I had hoped ( I have a duvet from another UK company, based in Wales) but it is very good quality and sumptiously soft. My sleep has improved with wool bedding and I will probably buy more items from The Wool Room. Ordering was easy and delivery fast and efficient. I am a happy customer, many thanks.”

“I bought a duvet and two pillows at the beginning of the year on recommendation from a work colleague. Being a certain age I have terrible problems sleeping and am always extremely hot, even with windows open and a fan constantly running. At first the items I had bought didn't seem to make much difference to my sleep pattern, but after discussing this again my friend advised me to get a mattress topper, she said I needed to have the wool top and bottom to make a difference. I bought the topper a few weeks ago and it has made such a difference. I now sleep for at least 5-6 hours each night without waking up (this is fantastic for me) and don't need the fan at all!!! Overall this is an excellent product that I would now not be without.”

Thank you for your feedback. We currently have our products made in the EU as our products when finished and quilted have to be manufactured to very exacting standards with the tension on the quilter at the right level and the way that the wool is layered so that this does not cause any potential shrinkage when washed. These exacting standards do not exist in the UK Manufacturing Base at this present time and hence why we use the world's experts for both the treatment of our wool and the finishing. We of course hope that as and when economies of scale dictate to be able to manufacture ourselves in the UK as we are both passionate about supporting UK Farming and Manufacturing where feasible. We thank you for your support and hope to be able to have the products manufacturers in the UK as soon as possible.

“been looking at this product for a while, Deluxe double wool duvet, and finally took the plunge and bought one. Wish I had done this many months ago as this is without doubt the lightest, warmest and most comfortable duvet we have ever had. Cannot recommend this product enough. Buy one, you will not regret the decision.”
