“I have now bought three wool duvets, a medium double for the spare room and a light and a medium king size for us. We really like them - they are warm and comfortable, suit both my husband (who likes a warmer duvet) and me (preferring a cooler one) and it is nice to know that they will remain bug free! My son has also bought one, after using one at our house, and is very pleased with it. He lives in Colorado, and it copes well with the varied temperature. Originally, I was hoping that my night sweats would be helped by the wool duvet, and they have improved a little, but it has not completely solved the problem.”

As for your note about the night-sweats, a large amount of heat can be transferred from your mattress meaning the duvet will only be effective up to a point. Covering it with a mattress protector should help you further :) If this helps, one of our fully adjustable pillows will help further too, especially if you find you're getting hot around the head and neck area. “I bought another wool duvet in the sale. I have one slightly negative point to make about these duvets. As they are very flat they lay flat in the duvet cover and many duvet covers are not quite big enough to do this. I think most duvet covers are made to be filled by a fluffed up duvet such as synthetic or down or feathers. Or maybe its just my inability to fluff up a wool duvet. But I am not allergic to them and a summer weight wool duvet is well warm enough for me unless it is actually below freezing so I am a convert.”

“I love my new mattress so much that I bought another one for the spare room. Everything about this company scores top marks from the customer service who patiently answered all my questions right through to the delivery guys who put the mattress in the bedroom. Chris, one of the owners, spoke to me to help me decide what I should buy. He got it spot on. We are very happy with all our purchases and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a new mattress. I have recommended it to two friends who are equally as happy.”

“Great service - super fast delivery. Duvet itself is really great. Heavier and thinner than I expected (compared to feathers) but offers a great night's sleep. Would recommend to anyone.”

Wool as a fibre, is far more efficient than synthetic, feather or down equivalents hence the difference in thickness. “My partner struggles to find a pillow he's comfortable with and when we saw wool pillows at an event I thought it may just be the answer - natural product, adjustable filling and British ...... He loves it The cover is super quality, the instructions clear and when I buy my pillow I've got some extra wool for it from his - result! Thank you”

“Beautiful cot mattress underlay, my daughters cot feels so cosy and warm and the customer service I received from the Wool Room was just fantastic. I would definitely recommend the cot mattress cover and I will be looking at the other wool products for my own bed soon!”
