“Now have wool matress protector and wool pillows, duvet next on the list. Extremely happy with both. The quality is excellent and wool helps provide restful sleep, no over heating and very comfy. Purchasing and deliver both fast and smooth. Love the linen bags each product comes in.”

“We bought the Deluxe Wool Duvet - Medium to substitute our synthetic 10.5Tog one. We are very happy with this purchase. The duvet is breathable, naturally warm and light. Looks classy and provides quality to our sleep. I am still not sure if it would be possible to wash it at home as I can see that the king size is probably big to be able to put it in an average size domestic washing machine. We will definitely revert back to The Wool Room if we need to purchase another one or other items.”

If you cannot fit your duvet in your washing machine, it might be worth taking it to a launderette, as they often have large industrial size washing machine drums. That being said, I wouldn't envisage you'll need to wash it often as wool is a natural anti-bacterial meaning it won't smell like other bedding types. Kind regards, Adam Hirst The Wool Room

“I have recommended the quilt to all my friends. I bought a quilt two years ago. I have the light weight tog 250g and use it summer and winter, I no longer get cold feet in bed its a fabulous product. I have just ordered one for the spare bed and hope visitors enjoy going to bed as much as I do. Delivery prompt and staff helpful on the phone.”

“I have a wool duvet which is perfect in a cold winter and now a wool pillow which is beautifully firm and dense. Doesn't collapse into a lumpy pudding and only needs a quick thump to get it back into shape.”

“first we tried the mattress protector, then because my husband has night sweats we bought the 1-2 tog duvet best buy ever. he doesn't get hot and I am sleeping warmer and with less weight than ever before, This is our 30th anniversary, if you can buy this as wedding gift best buy ever.”

“For years I have been throwing the duvet off myself numerous times every night due to the time of my life. I have tried more duvets than I care to remember. I can honestly say since sleeping under the deluxe wool duvet both my partner and I are having the best night’s sleep we can remember. We wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. “We bought a Deluxe single duvet for our toddler's single bed. She has allergies and it's a great option for a natural alternative to hollowfibre. We had a cotbed wool duvet from Mothercare (now discontinued) prior to this one. This kept her temperature well regulated at night and was also washable. This could be a good product for the Woolroom to make as there's not much choice when it comes to bedding for children. The customer service was excellent and the duvet is lovely.”

“I read all the previous reviews and despite their glowing testimonial I admit to being slightly wary. I needn't have been, my deluxe wool mattress topper is wonderfully warm and easy to sleep on. I can't quantify my sleep but my quilt is less "tossed" about and I feel fresher in the morning.”

“Ordered two " curly lamb" wool throws in the sale. one beige & cream the other grey & white & they are gorgeous. They are large, lovely & warm & cozy to wrap up in in this snowy weather. I can recommend them. I am considering buying more & putting them away for christmas gifts ( thinking ahead ! )”

“I have used this company on two occasions; the woollen bed items are of good quality and of course since they are for my grandson the fact they are allergy and fireproof is important. My recent duvet order was delivered to me by the next day; they are packaged well. On the last occasion, the item was delivered to my daughter, there was a query and the matter was resolved very quickly to our satisfaction. I would recommend both the goods and the service.”

“Super service. Delivery in between Christmas and New Year took 1 day. Fabulous product. Does what it says - keeps you warm , not moist. I love it! As an allergy suffer I can really tell the difference from having a bog standard hollow fibre quilt. Only concern is washing it. Definitely worth the extra money - sheer luxury.”

We're thrilled to read that you were happy with the service received, and indeed the capabilities of your new wool duvet for temperature regulation and allergies. As for washing your deluxe duvet, you can do so on a wool cycle using a wool detergent. Once washed, simply line dry and the product will be as good as new :) I would add though, that as wool is a anti-bacterial product, it shouldn't need washing very often.
