“We have had our mattress topper now for a few months and it has made no difference to the quality of our sleep or made our mattress feel any comfier/softer. The wool room got in contact with me within 24 hours and sent me a replacement straight away. We have had the new topper on the bed for the last few nights and the difference is like night and day and we are now very happy. Top marks to the wool rooms customer service, the best company i have dealt with!”

Thanks for taking the time to leave us this review, Ryan. We're sorry to hear that the mattress topper isn't enhancing your sleep. We sell lots of these toppers throughout the year and very rarely get any negative feedback. As your topper isn't consistently filled all over, it does indeed sound like the product is faulty. The terms and conditions only state that products can't be returned if they are not faulty and have been used. This is purely for hygiene reasons. It sounds like your product is in fact faulty and therefore we're more than happy to replace it for you. “Very good value wool blanket. Lovely design, great for winter as it's very seasonal. There was a problem with their website showing there was no blankets in stock, until I rang them to let them know, so they could continue to sell their other blankets they had in stock, without this been drawn to their attention they would have lost a lot of business! Not sure if delivery company messed up the delivery or the wool room, as I was told it would be the Tuesday morning, took time out to make sure I was there to sign for parcel, only to be informed by the delivery company that they had not received the parcel, as promised from the wool room for Tuesday delivery, so that completely wasted my time.”

HI Shaign, Thank you for taking the time leave us this review. Firstly, we're thrilled to read that you are happy with your wool blanket but concerned that the service wasn't exemplary from then on-wards. I've reached out to our eCommerce team to try and understand what the issue was with stock availability. As for the issues with the courier, I have just spoken to our warehouse to find out some more information. It would appear that the issue came from an unprecedented demand that we hadn't anticipated and when the courier came to collect on the 4th January (first day open post New Year), they simply couldn't fit a number of orders onto the van. This is something we'd never experienced before and hope won't be a problem again in the future. Please do accept our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences that may have been caused. “Great service and delivery. Would recommend the wool duvet and mattress protector it has really helped control my temperature at night. Was worried the duvet would be too thin but it isn't it feels really cosy.”

“Courier sent a text to say that they were unable to deliver parcel, because they had not received it from The Wool Room. Immediately sent an email to The Wool Room and received a reply back explaining situation, and parcel was duly delivered next day. Excellent service.”

“I had been looking for a quilt same as I had in hotel in Austria. I bought the wool quilt because of its natural properties nd when it arrived I realized it was the same as in Austria. It's a lovely subtle warm, so unlike feather you warm up nd it maintains that correct warmth all night, I no longer push quilt off in middle of night then half hour later pull back again. I just stay snug nd asleep all night. Thin nd light, easy to handle. I got one for my grandson who is but asthmatic nd sweats under a quilt, but with this he no longer sweats nd apparently wakes up more refreshed after better sleep. Hope over time will help asthma too.”

We're glad to read that you found us on the back of an experience in a hotel in Austria - that's a fantastic testament to our wool bedding :o) The product should indeed help your grandson's asthma as dust-mites, a leading trigger of bedroom allergens cannot inhibit this bedding. If his Asthma is still causing havoc in the future, we would strongly advise considering the other elements of our bedding set (pillows and mattress protector). “Excellent service delivery wise and thrilled with the products quality and warmth. The lovely zipped canvas style bags each item comes in is great for storing when not in use and so much more civilised than the usual plastic type of bag. “Great advice received since I needed two duvets for children with different internal thermostats (& a dust mite allergy). They look and feel comfy and so far no complaints from the children. Wish I had one for me!”

“After years of suffering with bad sleep caused by back and hip problems, I was very impressed with the reviews I read. I had tried various mattresses including a Tempur one but this just increased my discomfort and made me very hot. I ordered the Deluxe mattress topper and it arrived very quickly. From the first night I put it on it has been amazing. 7 hours sleep first night and no pain. I do not toss and turn and I wake feeling refreshed. Thank you for this amazing product I will certainly be looking at getting a duvet and pillows.”

“I suffer night sweats to the point where the bed was drenched. Since I have bought a wool mattress topper, pillow and duvet I wake up slightly damp. Overall I'd guess about 60 to 70% reduction in dampness. Very impressive. Quality product. No smell. The pillow is firm enough for me and mattress topper is divine. Fast helpful service. Have ordered more.”
