I wanted to support a British company. However, your delivery times are slow at best. The last book took almost 3 weeks to arrive longer than the original estimate. Prices are keen but you need to deliver more quickly.

The ordering and delivery process was good. However when opening the package the book was ripped on the back cover and a few of the back pages. This was disappointing as it was a present for my mam. I didn't want the inconvenience of returning the book so stuck it together and kept it. Disappointing as I had high hopes for Wordery.

Book arrived dog eared on two corners I was going to give as a gift but can’t. Will give to my own child instead . Better wrapping might help this problem .

My book came with a creased cover and front 5 pages as it wasn't packaged with care.

Delivery was abysmal. Estimated delivery was 6-10 days (which I thought was a long wait these days). After 12 days... I started to try and contact this company; which was difficult too. No phone number. Parcel arrived on day 13. Waiting two weeks for a child’s toy is far too long. I don’t think I will bother again. Shame.

Ordered One book, 'Clean Meat' but received - and had to Pay for, Two copies. Emailed Wordery but had No response. Would like to return the spare copy and receive a Credit for the amount charged - £16.odd

There was an error in the system which meant that my parcel wasn't even dispatched! And this error wasn't even caught until I queried why my parcel hadn't arrived...I then had to wait another 2 weeks for my book to arrive! This book was a present for somebody, which thanks to the error in your system, was subsequently late! Not happy!!

Wordery relies on other suppliers giving them items which they then send onto the customer. There was a breakdown in communication between the two and it took me two attempts to rectify it. It was quite frustrating, and I received a discount as an apology.

Wordery received Ethical Consumer's worst rating for Environmental Reporting and worst rating for likely use of Tax Avoidance strategies. I did think it might be a more ethical alternative to Amazon but I stand corrected and shall avoid further purchases.
