“Unfortunately the packaging used to post a stuffed toy was clearly packaging that should be used for books and was far too narrow. The toy was rammed in and was not even sealed at the end so it was open at the ends and you could see what was inside. The hat on the bear was crushed and has been impossible to put back into shape. Not impressed.”

“The boon that arrived did not have the cover advertised on the site. I bought from Wordery because I wanted that specific edition and the image lead to me to believe u would receive it. Giving 1 star for getting product to me and 1 star for providing intact product”

“My diary arrived damaged in the post. Offered a 25% refund and keep the damaged diary or full refund and return the diary. Couldn’t replace as there is no stock. Either way I’ve got a damaged diary to work with everyday for a year or no diary. A Jiffy envelope is not enough protection.”

“According to Wordery “a glitch in information transfer led to a problem remaining unreported against your order”, which meant my item was delivered (only after I enquired) almost a month after it should have. Can’t say I can therefore recommend this company.”

“I've used Wordery several times and, until recently was very happy with their service. However, I ordered three books at the end of November. A month later I had only had two (delivered after 3 weeks). The final book arrived today - January 11th. My low rating is not the delay...postal strikes clearly didn't help with this - but their offhand response to my email asking where my book was. Basically, I was told I'd get it eventually and to keep checking. They apologised for the delay but no offer to send another copy or a refund.”

“I ordered from my address but wanted delivery to my grandson's address - 170 miles away. The address as despatched by Wordery was a garbled version of these two addresses. The carrier managed against the odds to deliver to me, I asked Wordery to help with getting it to my grandson - no joy. I posted it there myself and at some expense. On the plus side, the communications with Wordery were prompt polite and friendly - but ultimately not helpful.”

“Sadly my parcel has been 'out for delivery' with Evri since 20th December. Today is the 30th of December and I am still waiting for my book to arrive. This is not unusual for the company formally known as Hermes, there are photos on a website of their compound in Norwich with cages of parcels left outside and parcels scattered along the roadside. I have little faith in it ever arriving at my door but who knows? I may be in for a pleasant surprise but I am not holding my breath.”
