Wordery took seven days to dispatch my book. When you try to contact them their is no phone number just a form to fill in which you receive after a day a generic response that does not answer the question you asked.

I am so pleased to have discovered Wordery. A pleasant & wonderful option to “the elephant behemoth in the room”! This is the second year in a row I have bought my Moleskine 12 month monthly planner from Wordery. Shipping & delivery is reliable. Packaging keeps my order secure as it makes its way from the UK to the west coast of the US. And pricing is more than fair. Thank you Wordery and your staff for another pleasant online shopping experience.

Book arrived at the expected time in CH. Covid did not cause a delay. Brexit did not cause a delay.

Easy to find books that are popular or in the chart so I can find something to read quickly. I have read a lot in the lock downs so I was running out of ideas but Wordery makes it easy to find something. My books always arrive quite quickly. Not as fast as others sometimes but expectations are managed and the prices are cheaper. I don't mind waiting a few more days for a better price and delivery that is not damaged. I really like Wordery.

I absolutely loved this book, probably because I'm a huge fan of true crimes but also because they're told in a really unique way and looks at murder throughout history and how certain cases have paved way for changes in the law, and probably not the ones you expect to either. It's written in really concise manner and Kate Morgan's writing style makes this book easy to follow without being bombarded with legal terminology and jargon which might put off a few people. I was really pleased that the author had used some smaller, relatively unknown cases which kept my attention a bit more as some cases get a lot more press and some of us have heard them all before. there are some pretty gruesome descriptions which might not be suitable for all readers, so bear that in mind if you're planning on buying this as a gift. It's not for the faint hearted!

Not a promising start but ... Lottie has uprooted her life to move to Italy to be with her new husband. Not only has she left behind a successful career, but she has not known her husband for very long. Sounds disastrous? Will it end in tears, or worse? Nina's life is somewhat of a mystery. She died in the 1970s, and the absence of mourners at her funeral turns into an obsession for Lottie. What is it about these two women's lives, one from the past and one in the present, that is so intriguing and what is really going on? At first, I found the story very slow and difficult to get into it. If I am honest, Lottie and I did not get off to a great start! I felt she was weak-minded and easily swayed. Giving up her fantastic job as an archivist to marry a man she hardly knew! And then move to a country with a culture and language alien to her! But as I said, that was at the beginning. Both Lottie and Nina were introduced at the right points in the story. It was a bit wordy at times, but that did not interrupt the flow. Elizabeth Buchan did an excellent job of bringing Italy to life for her readers. I have never been there, so I was grateful for the rich evocative description of this beautiful and ancient city. Thank you to Readers First for this copy.

THIS BOOK IS SO SO SO INTRIGUING!I read the first line and could bring my eyes to stop reading more and more until the last line came to an end ,Which made me want to read on and on.The book turns me into a detective as it makes me want to figure out why he planned his own death and what he had planned before he died and why.The book is amazingly eye-catching and causes so many emotions and questions to go through your brain at the same time but it’s amazing somehow it’s like it’s real and you have to know why and what happens leading up to the even of his ‘death’.The book makes you want to know if the three kids actually put their differences aside to decide how to dispose of their deceased father or let it get away of things and end up losing the all but what will happen will it end good or will it end a complete and utter mistake they take to their own grave?....

Wordery is excellent. And always quick and reliable. Just ordered a great volume as a present for somebody, so it matters how it ends up through my letter box. Wordery is great at packaging. Unlike some, they realise that a plastic bag isn't going to do the job, so they use secure card wrappings. That way, the book doesn't get damaged or torn or dented. It's secure, and it makes a real difference. I wish ALL online booksellers would take as much trouble. Nice one!

I really like this company because I can't get out to the shops but I don't want to buy from Amazon. Good range of books and when I had a problem with my order once because I ordered something by mistake they were very helpful and friendly.

I love historical fiction in general but coupled with dark themes such as abuse; it makes the book darker and deeper. I love the motherly sentiment found by Cathy and also understand her desire to not get divorced since I grew up in a culture where divorce was taboo. As someone who's witnessed women in domestic abuse situations, I can imagine her relief when the telegram arrived. It must have felt like a burden off her shoulders. However, I personally am not a big fan of Sergeant Archie McIntosh of the Royal Engineers' Bomb Disposal Squad. I've always loved a bit more of a spark between my characters. The gears should grind together before being able to move in harmony. I personally don't believe that Sergeant Archie McIntosh of the Royal Engineers' Bomb Disposal Squad will get much character development in the story and that is disappointing. However, the author may surprise me.
