“Commercial Road, Portsmouth. 8/11/24. 09.10.
Young male assistant was busy attending another customer, but acknowledged me as the next to be served.
Very polite, efficient, considerate and customer focussed.
You've been lucky to employ this lad.”
“Card factory made me unhappy yesterday. Dundee store.
The signs all over the shop said, buy 3 cards get 1 free. I took this opportunity to buy 6 cards. I had an idea in my head what it should come too so felt I had been overcharged. The girl who served me didn’t say a word about offer just told me what the charge was. I overheard another assistant telling a customer that if she bought 4 she would get the forth one free. When he was finished with his customer I approached him and said, “that’s not what your sign says”. He replied, “ no I know it’s not very clear”. I wonder how many other customers have been fooled by this nasty advertising!!!”
“Today we visited Card Factory shop St Austell Cornwall. PL25 5ER. Costumer service as always in this shop was excellent. VAT no 927214432 STORE 0611 TILL 2 - 017952234979 0PR TRANS. 22/04/2024 TIME 11:01 Unfortunately we don't have the name of the lady who served us. She has worked at the store a long time and couldn't be more helpful. Always pleasant and accommodating, no matter how busy they get. They really do get busy.”
“I’ve been after some 80th birthday gifts for my parents and have tried numerous high street shops but most shops seem to only sell items up to 60 years of age. Card Factory in Hanley stock male and female mugs!”
“Lovely staff member Sarah at Chatham Dockside store of Card Factory, couldnt help more, recommended reduced priced items, especially when went back for Christmas paper, even stated the length 8 metre rolls and price reduced too.
Good choice of every day cards, and good prices some starting at 29p for basic card, others 4 for a £1, and prices go up. Lovely clean store even with amount of left over Christmas stock, managed to get some nice reduced priced Christmas cards and paper.
Thanks to Sarah who recommended that the 8 metre rolls at till were on excellent offer, so purchased that as well. Would definitely recommend that shop and will always visit when back at Dockside - only downside now is they are charging for parking after 1 and half hours, thou reasonably priced still makes you think twice when travel to Dockside about visiting, such a shame they have done this.”
“I was just in your card shop in Royton Precinct today and when paying for a Christmas card in the sale was told it was 32p. I commented on it to Shah who said it had 75% off in the sale. He then said there were some bigger Christmas bags for sale at 40p which I bought for my 2 great grandsons present for next Christmas. So thank you Shah for pointing that out very helpful.”
“I had to buy quite a few things in your Brighton store. Reasonably priced items good selection and Helen who served me was very helpful and attentive. Always shop here.”
“Debbie from Faversham Card Factory was an amazing help yesterday, she broached me when I was trying to decide on balloons for my girl who turned 16yrs today. When my daughter saw this in the morning she loved it and even herself mentioned she really loved the colours we chosen. Great customer service so glad she asked if I needed assistance. Thank you.”
“More than happy with customer service in your Newcastle Northumberland st branch, staff couldn't of been more helpful, went out of there way trying to locate a balloon that they believed to be out of stock”
“Even though we are quite tech-savvy for our age we still prefer to get actual cards for celebrations and went to our local Broadwalk shopping centre in Edgware to get two birthday cards for our twin granddaughters and were pleased enough with the selection and the staff service. Good prices too!”
“I think Card factory is a brilliant store, with reasonably priced cards unlike some of its competitors who charge extortionate amounts for cards. I went in there yesterday afternoon and being a week before Christmas, it was of course really busy with a long queue.
One of their staff used her initiative to reduce the queue and started serving at the back of the shop just using a calculator and a bag of change to give customers. It worked wonderfully! I was so impressed as it is very rare that you see such quick thinking and flexibility in adapting to customer service requirements (she was an older lady so I'm sure that had something to do with it, younger ones wouldn't have a clue!)
Well done Card factory! Other stores should look and learn.”
