“This morning I went into the Eltham SE9 Card Factory. I selected the cards I wanted and went to the counter. The 2 staff members were blowing up balloons, one was obviously in charge , the other helping.
They were talking amongst themselves, I was totally ignored. Not a Good Morning, be with you soon- nothing.
After about 5 minutes ‘in charge’ had gone to get a bag for the balloons. She came back and eventually ‘ the helper’ said Next please. A man behind me went to go forward, he thought I was waiting for the balloons- he was ignored too.
She was very short and sharp with me, no charm or smiles. I wouldn’t go back in there all the time she’s behind the counter.
A miserable experience.”

Ordered over a week ago, quite a few, special ones and those for gifts. Received email saying it was ready for collection in shop, Not the shops fault, But have been 3 times, Nothing there, They can’t help as they say their head office said it’s not their fault, Their online system says oh your order is ready - do you want a collection email. What an utter disaster Utter disgrace, Why do this to customers at all, let alone at Xmas, Trust, Would not trust them with a bar of chocolate, my wife is so upset and so angry, As she doesn’t have time to do this all over again and then pray they arrive on time, What a shambles”

My mum ordered personalised calendars online and for some stupid reason they had 2025 ones on sale, why would anyone want a 2025 calendar in November 2025??? They are refusing to do anything to sort this matter out and what a surprise they have now removed them from sale. Really disgusting company with customer service who treat you like rubbish.”
“Placed an order with Card Factory and was supposed to arrive by yesterday.
Contacted customer services to be told got to leave it a few days as it takes 3-5 days as they don’t offer a 48hr delivery…. Told her I have proof in an email from Royal Mail it was sent on a 48hr delivery to basically be told I’m lying because they don’t do that 🤣🤣

“The stickers on the front of the cards absolutely ruin the card. They don't remove properly and when a concerted attempt to remove the sticky left behind it ruins the card leaving grey, sticky streaks and a sticky mess. These cards had to go straight in the bin. Why on earth use labels that don't remove properly? It doesn't take much to use a different system or a label that doesn't leave a sticky mark.”

“I spent hours finding photos and designing personalised cards. Card Factory cancelled my order saying they had lost it, so my time wasted. Customer service said they would resend a calendar but lied. I didn’t have it for my mum’s Christmas present and had to drive around xmas Eve looking for one - which couldn’t find. Very bad indeed on the phone, not caring at all, saying only accept posted complaints. Awful people.”

Ordered stated delivery 12th December
Checked on 12th and order now stated Thursday 19th December checked on 18th and it now states Saturday 21st December
Absolutely disgraceful I am disgusted with this company and I only hope the card reaches her in time

All you offered after failing your service was a miserable discount code towards a re-order 😂😂😂. Your having a laugh. To solve is successfully, you should have proccessed my order and sent is for free to fix the issue, but you didn't. Apparently you don't have the facilities to do this.”
“Cardfactory Epping Essex - I worked here as a Seasonal Sales assistant and lasted 8 weeks- The staff are miserable as The manager has no Management skills and puts them down in front of customers. The Kitchen and Toilets are filfy. No stock control - The Manager smokes outside in front of the shop which in my opinion is not a good look.”

“Ordered some cards and chocolates for my sons birthday. When the chocolates arrived I noticed they only had a couple of days before the use by date expired. I complained to the customer service department. I was told that the short date was advertised on the product description. I didnt see any information so asked for the product information to be sent to me. No information was available to send to me as the chocolates weren't available anymore but was assured that the short date was written on the description. (I have looked at several other product details and none contain any use by dates). So basically your word against mine. Feel a bit fobbed off to be honest. Won't be using again.”
