“Item was of very poor quality. Something I’d expect from “wish” China., Seams are quite loose and won’t take much to burst, couldn’t see a larger size lady wearing them. Quite see through, I expected jean like material leggings.”

“Items arrived quickly, and the communication was good letting me know that the order has been received and dispatched. My only criticism is having to pay to return items - it puts me off making more purchases, which is a shame as Elsie’a Attic has such lovely dresses!”

“Ordered 2 jumpsuits which unfortunately didn't look great on so had to return them. Stitching was poor on one also. But by the by my only real gripe is the delivery charges to return items. Maybe you could consider membership plans like asos where you get free delivery and returns for an annual fee? It puts me off ordering again as it was nearly £10 for nothing in the end sadly. Still love checking out your site though.”

“Such an amazing dress ..was worried as one size but it fitted so lovely and fabric is so nice . Customer service was perfect and received my dress very quickly . Will look forward to more orders .”

“Unfortunately as soon as I opened the parcel I knew it was not as nice as it looked in the picture. It did not hang well and I must be about the same size as the girl modelling it. It felt and looked cheap - like something you would pay £10 for out of Primark - I don’t shop in shops like that, so definitely not for me. My partner burst out laughing and said ‘I hope you’re sending that back, it’s awful’ and he never pays attention to anything I wear! Sorry for the scathing review, but I feel a bit annyoyed because I spent £3.99 for delivery and £3.95 to return it and that would be fine if it was just not to my taste (which is what I stated on my return slip) but the real reason is that I found it to be poor quality and not worth £25!”

“I was disappointed in the quality of the dress that i ordered. The bottom was not hemmed, just overlooked. And the elasticated frill cuffs made the dress look cheap. I would also be put off ordering from the site again by the fact that you have to pay for postage to receive and return goods- so it essentially cost me £8 just to try on a dress!!!”

“Everything arrived in good time and in good order. Sizes were as advertised, and I can't complain. The quality is great, which is reassuring when buying online, and each item is different than what is available on the high street, which suits me brilliantly. Reasonably priced items, and it won't be my last purchase of goods from Elsie's Attic.”

“I am really impressed with the customer service. My package got lost in the post and I can’t fault Vicki and Gemma with their polite, fast and informative response. Nothing was too much trouble. There are huge companies and shops who don’t deal with their customers as well as Elsie’s Attic have done. My item has finally arrived and it’s perfect. Excellent service. Xxxx”
