Lovely dress until I tried to return it. Returns policy is illegal in UK. I messaged about this on Facebook, but comment was removed and I'm now no longer allowed to comment on their posts. Avoid

Terrible customer serive. After wearing a dress once and it having a tear after been on aprox 5 mins, emailed several times to be told they thought it was a rip. Must be horrific quality item if its ripped like that. Its a line right down where 2 bits of cordaroy meet so it's definitely a fault. Totally dismissed.

Really disappointed. I had to return an item due to sizing and I’ve been refused a refund due to the top having make up stains on it. I never tried the top on as it was clearly much too large...I know I returned it in perfect condition. Won’t be using again ☹️

When I first received my hoodie I loved it but very quickly it has become bobbly with lots of loose threads. This is after only 1 wash (not tumble dried) so I don’t believe it is worth the £39.99 price tag. Very disappointing ☹️

Spent good money with them. Ordered 2 pairs of 3/4 length trousers. They were fine apart from the second pair had a bit of an unpleasant smell when they arrived. I just washed them and didn’t make any complaints. I actually left them a nice review on another site. In hindsight I think the clothing isn’t that flattering and a bit dated to be honest. I made no negative comment towards them but for some reason found myself blocked from commenting on their Facebook page. I contacted them about this via email, to which they denied blocking me. I don’t believe them since it’s not sorted 12 months on. For this reason I would never 👎 order anything else from them as I did nothing to deserve that.

Placed an order on 23rd June, which was confirmed. I was then contacted on 26th June to advise that the colour was not available and would I like a different colour. Checked the website to see what was in stock and chose a different colour. Contacted again on 27th June to advise that was not in stock too! Totally disgusted and requested a full refund. Do not use this company unless you really want to be messed around!!!!

Ordered two items. Paid. Dispatch confirmed. Then they’re not in stock. I’d PAID for them. Complained and asked for a discount On a future order, as I was still £44 out of pocket and the sale was ending. I’m blocked from their Facebook page. Sweet.

When I came across Elsie's Attic I was so excited as I loved their clothing range, but sadly I ended up very disappointed. Firstly, my order took ages to be dispatched, although when I chased it up it was explained that they had been moving warehouse, so I wasn't too worried, but it would have been nice to have been notified without having to chase first. I ordered several dresses which I was really looking forward to receiving, but the sizing was way out. I am a size 12-14 and I ordered a size 12 in the hope that it wouldn't be too tight as I'm a big 12, but they were all too BIG so had to be returned. On the dresses with long sleeves, even the sleeves were too long, which isn't a problem I've ever had elsewhere. I also ordered a top which kind of fitted okay but the material looked and felt cheap so I sent that back too. The only thing I kept was a jumper which fitted lovely and I really liked, but I washed it on a cool wool wash according to the instructions and it shrunk significantly and is now too short, so I have donated it to a charity shop, which is very disappointing after just one wash (and costly at £29.75 for just one wear). I'm still waiting for my returned items to be refunded. I will allow 7 days before chasing as requested but a refund really shouldn't take that long to process. Returns to other outlets are refunded on the day they are received (I returned one item to another outlet the same day as my return to Elsie's Attic and the money is already back in my account).

Less than clear charges. Produce not to a high standard. Poor quality and customer service overall versus online competitors or the high street...

I ordered 2 scarf’s and paid for them. I then had a message to say that only 1 was available. That was obviously disappointing as one was for a friends birthday. I was promised a refund for the scarf I was not going to receive but so far over 10 days later, the refund had mot materialised.

I recently ordered from Elsie's Attic for the first time. The item unbeknown to me was incorrectly priced online. As a customer you expect the price you see to be the price you pay which I did in good faith. I was advised the item was actually £10 more. I suggested that as a goodwill gesture and given this was my first order that this order could be honoured at the price I paid. This was declined. I will not be shopping with this company again given the poor service I received.

Unfortunately I cant return my item as I do not have access to a printer to print out returns label, and having read the conditions of returning goods in original packaging, my item wasn't in a clear plastic bag, so therefore I now have a pair of trousers I will never wear and I was unhappy with the over all quality of the garment.

Good delivery and service, top seemed nice on first wear. After one wash (on cold as per instructions) the printed star on the front has faded. Unfortunately poor quality item.
