“I buy, and sell on Etsy and it's been a wonderful platform. Unique product that often can't be found on Amazon. Our customers are happy and have given us almost all five star reviews, and the product I've bought has been unique/different. If I had a suggestion, they should probably limit or ban overseas vendors. Many of them copy product and steal photos blatantly, and then close a store and set another up when customers complain. I highly recommend only buying from US businesses on Etsy (or Facebook ads) to avoid this.”

“I buy and sell on Etsy, love it -- In the past months I've ordered fabric, elastic etc from about 10 sellers, and everything was as described and got to me so quickly. I also sell handmade items on Etsy -- and as I provide great customer service, so far so good. I would suggest to BUY FROM YOUR OWN COUNTRY when possible -- when I'm searching for items there is a filter to show ONLY RESULTS from US. Also, I only sell to U.S. customers, this way I avoid a lot of shipping issues both buying and selling. Buyers who look for cheapest items from overseas, for example China or India are possibly going to be disappointed with quality or shipping delays. (I do sometimes buy from overseas, but I am knowingly taking a risk.) Every seller has feedback, look at it before buying -- also make sure to read descriptions -- some items are made to order or take longer to process, this info will be in the detailed descriptions.”

“Bought a beautiful pair of 14k diamond stud earrings set from a seller on Etsy. It was a vintage item and from a seller with a very high rating and number of purchases. The seller was a sincere pleasure to deal with from star to finish. The date that I purchased them was on April 28th and I received the earrings on the 1st of May. Don't believe any of the anonymous reviews here at all. Never had a problem with Etsy in all of the purchases that I've gotten over the years.”
