Not durable. Power switch failure is common. The battery terminals on the handheld melted g tech won't supply parts offered a new cleaner body only. So much for being able to repair! Despite Union Jack flag on box the cleaner is made in China. I binned it and bought a different make. Importing plastic unrepairable chep stuff like this from China is harming the environment. The local tip has a lot of Gtech stuff in the skips! Avoid!

My 92 year old Mother bought a pro stick 3 years ago. It has never been used before now. The battery is faulty and will not charge. Gtech apologise for the inconvenience and offer a free pack of bags as compensation. Battery although outside the 12 month warranty is obviously not fit for purpose. Before buying from this company be aware of their attitude to customer service. Other vacuums are available.

Had my 3rd and final one . Never buying Gtech again. Look what happens supporting local business . Customer support useless. Poor product.

GTech AirRAM K9 Second AirRAM I unfortunately bought. First had to be rebuilt by us with parts sent thru by GTech, no offer to return even tho broke mechanically within 2 months. The K9 version jammed ‘on’ and the electrical break on the rotor failed meaning it wouldn’t have stopped rotating of a child’s fingers or paws got trapped in it. I contacted GTech and didn’t see any level of concern and had to wait for slow momentum to get unit returned. I asked for a safety report to give to Tradings Standards to log should there be other appliances having this hazardous failure mode. Finally after restating my rights under GTech T&C’s and saying I would use charge back, I got a basic refund. Lots of hassle and really disappointed in GTech generally. Lots of other good hoovers so best to avoid GTech

I ordered a replacement brush for my cleaner nearly 2 weeks ago. I was told it was on its way and I would receive it any day. I just phoned the company and was the part won’t be in until 16th October!! Why! Having been told it is on its way! I have cancelled it. I need a cleaner and I can’t wait that long.

Nick is a criminal. He provided great service to us for a number of years. Then he flaked out. Unlike most providers, he refused to give us admin rights to our Office 365. After chasing him for months, he said he did it, and he still didn't do it. I have to call him multiple times. He doesn't return calls or emails. I call his backup service. They say they have reached him, and he will get right back to me. He doesn't. He is holding all of our files and security hostage. We need to authorize new users, we need to turn off old users, and we cannot.

Had been a big fan of my Gtech Pro2 until I found out that they only guarantee their £75 battery for 6 months. Perhaps I'm naive or maybe it's just telling of the quality people have come to accept in our throw-away culture, but I expect a battery that costs this kind of money to last more than a year. Utterly insulted to be told sorry that your expensive battery didn't even manage to last a year but if you want to give us a load more cash we'll give you 20% of another sub-par piece of kit. If I'm going to spend this kind of money it will be as a contribution to something more reliable and not made by Gtech.

I purchased a gtech cordless hedge trimmer. What a total waste of money. The strap is in the wrong place at the back end of the trimmer so when you put the strap over your head it makes it so front heavy that it's very difficult to hold up. Absolutel rubbish.

I have had a complete hedge trimmer replacement, then 2 new cutter bar heads and it still makes a dreadful grating noise after a few minutes operation. That is not my main complaint which is I that also have had a CLM 021 Cordless mower which being only 11 months out of warranty I am told needs a new battery at a cost of £159 when the mower was over £500 less than 3 years ago. Not good enough and as a retired engineer I will endeavour to spread the news about my experience of GTech inferior design and engineering quality of these products. You are expected to spend a lot of money on products which aren't designed to last. Lets go back to Suffolk Colts that lasted for decades.

Warning no warranty policy!!! Warning poor warranty policy!!! I brought the latest Gtech ram air online from a dealer offering a Gtech promotion thaw same as Argos’s then 7 months later the battery devils a fault and so I call Gtech customer service only to be told the warranty only applies if I brought it directly from them. But would be happy to sell me a new battery for £69 Warning very expensive products and have had a Gtech hover for the past 8years I can no longer see Quality or customer service that justifies the price tag. Don’t wast your your money, wish I hadn’t stayed loyal to Gtech! You have been warned!! See Email extract from Gtech “Gtech has not directly supplied these products for resale. All I can advise is that you speak with the seller and eBay customer services about returning the product. “

I have an air ram, hand held and Gteck hedge cutter, all these products are only suitable as kids toys, all useless, the hedge cutter jams with a 1mm twig, the hand held for the car useless, would not purchase any other products, have friends who mirror my thoughts. back to James Dyson for products that do what they advertise.

DO NOT BUY Gtech!! Product not fit for purpose, Terrible customer service, Complete waste of money... Purchased the HT20 hedge trimmer. After just a couple of uses, it constantly gets jammed with the thinnest of twigs - sometimes just leaves?! It is literally stop, start, stop, start, taking hours to do a simple job?! The branch cutter has NEVER worked properly. I used it twice and got so frustrated that it stops spinning as soon as it touched a branch that I gave up trying to persist both times. When I contacted customer service I was told I needed a new cutting blade? I explained I'd only tried using it twice and it failed to spin? Again, I was told the problem was I needed a new blade - which I had to pay for! Due to an item like this only being required for use every 1-2 years, my 2 year warranty had expired when I contacted Gtech for advice on this item I considered faulty?? I purchased a new blade (as advised) and also purchased the Gtech cleaning kit - thinking that might improve the trimmer's performance? It didn't! After changing the blade, surprise, surprise, it does spin! When I removed the blade, the cogs spin on the head but when the blade is in place, the cog doesn't turn the teeth on the blade!! I thought I was going mad, so got my Dad to check it. He agrees that it's faulty and not fit for purpose... We contacted Gtech again. Best they can offer is 10% off all replacement parts that I purchase again?? Laughable... We requested that we send it back to them so their technical department can take a look? No, was the answer!! I will NEVER purchase another Gtech product (I also have their hand-held vacuum, which also has issues) I'd rather pay slightly more and get a quality product that actually works!! Such a disappointment from a Company which constantly advertises as being one of the best in the market 😡

I purchase my Gtech sweeper just a year ago and have had nothing but problem, first the batteries failed to hold charge then needed help as the sweeper sounded as though it was full of stones. Weldone to the young lady who DID solve the problem. Then the handle started to fall apart so replaced it then carpet strip breaks. all in all I have so many problems I asked who did the inspection of these items because from where I stood there was no inspection just put it together and send it out.

Brought Pro stick cleaner 2019 less than 18 months in battery developed a fault , contacted customer support and they agreed to send a new one less than 18 months again battery packed up ! again contacted GTECH best they could offer was 20% off new battery which i had to accept for the machine to function . NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Conclusion GTECH not fit for purpose as it would appear the battery is of very poor quality and at £80 a time i would suggest anyone avoid GTECH at all cost . I will not be buying any of the GTECH products nor shall i recommend in fact i feel duty bound to do the exact opposite . VERY POOR PRODUCT>

Bought direct from GTECH as I thought this would be best. The SW22 sweeper sent arrived next day, which was great. But it didn't charge up. On contacting GTECH I now have to wait up to 2 weeks for a replacement charger to see if this corrects the issue...way too long to have to wait for a part that may not resolve the problem. Online chat seems to only produce a corporate response so very poor

I bought the air ram multi and it broke after 1 use. Gtech arranged an exchange which arrived damaged. They arranged an uplift but are now refusing a refund as they have lost the return but their courier didn’t provide any proof of uplift. Absolutely disgusted by their service. Now have the stress of raising a dispute with my credit card. Will never use them again.
