I ordered a Nexus 5X after looking through reviews about cheaper products on the internet . It seemed apart from the possibility of paying extra tax , the phones may have been for markets outside the UK . This led to all sorts of problems . Although some customers had good deals it still seemed a bit risky , so I ordered with John Lewis . Very pleased with delivery within 48 hours and a 2 year guarantee

Bought a fit bit watch that stopped working after about 7 months. Took it back - couldn't find receipt but had proof on credit card. The store gave me a gift card back for the amount it was sold at, which was £30 cheaper. Found receipt 2 weeks later and £30 was refunded. Excellent service Always my number one store ????

ordered 3 piece suite from bluewater store . delivery was on date and time specified , the two men team was excellent , polite , and very very helpful I do recall their names but one lived Gravesend the other Basildon /wickford area. the men were great and would highly recommend. they deserve the highest praise . Edinburgh Store - Just had a Panasonic Viera 4K installed after some miscommunication with the store and the installers and the Panasonic Rep but I have to say their team have been great but compliments have to go to the Leith Distribution Centre who really pulled this together and a big thank you to Stuart who came today and installed the TV -

So far so good. Ordered on the Saturday, delivered on the Monday. That's astonishingly quick. Store service was with a smile, and I went to John Lewis as a result of poor service in Currys..... Despite spending THOUSANDS of pounds in there recently. John Lewis will be my new Go-To store from now on.

I ordered a baby gym on line and did not select one day delivery at the time of purchase. The next day I realised that I wanted it delivered quickly so phoned to ask if I could pay extra and get it delivered faster. They sorted it out and somehow delivered it the next day without charging me any extra. They also provided a one hour delivery slot and kept to it. Much better than having to wait in all day! I was impressed. Good product, good service!

I bought a Smeg fridge around 12-14 months ago via the JL on-line service which was delivered exactly as per the JL promise. Within a short time condensation was building up and water frequently leaked. I was initially directed to Smeg who sent two engineers who were unable to solve the problem. Smeg were not particularly helpful and I then re-contacted JL Customer/Technical Services. They have resolved my complaint and have been absolutely wonderful. I was offered a new fridge (any model/make) and have ordered another model. JL have also refunded the difference. I cannot fault John Lewis for their customer service and their team at Technical Services for their courtesy and professionalism. I was informed at all stages of the process and when I went into John Lewis at Bluewater I received the same courtesy and professionalism. In my view one of the best if not THE BEST British companies to deal and shop with. You will always have my loyalty.

We bought a tv black in early 2015 and late last year there was a fault with the screen. One phonecall to john lewis and they arranged a company to come out and fix it. The company knew what the fault probably was and rearranged the appointment so they could bring the faulty replacement part and fix it at the same time. Which they did. Cannot fault john lewis they did what they said they would.

I have been purchasing goods for a number of years on the Internet from John Lewis and just want to say they are the best .I have always been very happy with the goods I have purchased and never had any thing to complain about the excellent delivery .I ordered the wrong size and within 3 days I had the exchange Brilliant????

Purchased a Humax recorder & when it arrived I realised it was for an aerial & not a dish,contacted John Lewis customer services & the unit was swapped promptly even over the busy festive season.Truly first class customer service. David.D.

I have purchased a few items in store and online from John Lewis and have always found the products and delivery high quality. Recently I bought Panasonic 3D glasses online, one pair of which was faulty. I contacted them and they responded immediately. Absolutely no quibble, sent me a replacement pair straight away. They could not have been any more helpful or obliging. I cannot recommend John Lewis highly enough

This review is written solely about a telephone conversation with a staff member at Watford store. You helped my dad aged 73 today and I was impressed. My dad wanted to that was out of stock on line. I said see if have one at Watford. Watford store have one and are sending it so he doesn't have to collect it. He explained he lived alone and does he really need the accidental cover. They discouraged him from having it rather than paying for it when he doesn't need it. I am impressed by that. To coming parcel force in few days. Let's see if I am still as positive but John Lewis Watford good work on not ripping my dad off X

Samsung JU 7500 has excellent quality and picture. Delivered on the choosend day.Martin and Alan the dilvery men were brilliant. Martin went through step by step with me when installing the TV.they were both very polite .

I will admit that in the past I have always found john lewis to be more expensive than other shops. Over the past couple of years though I have noticed that john lewis have been the same price as other stores but offered a 2 year gurantree and more on products. I brought a Indesit Dryer from them in 2014. The dryer was fine but at some point in its life, the dryer door would not shut properly and I was unable to dry clothes, this was during winter time and I have two children, so I was desperate for my dryer to work. I contacted john lewis and they said that I would have to contact Indesit. I did contact Indesit, only for them to tell me, that I had broken the door on the dryer. I said Indesit, I havn't broken it, for some reason when I shut the door the white plastic thing that makes it stay shut wasn't working. Anyway Indesit was determined it was my fault before even examining it and said it would cost £50 to fix it. Even though it was still under its guarantee at the time. I phoned John Lewis up and told them about how badly Indesit had treated me and that I was no expert on Dryers, so how was I to know if their was a fault on the dryer. Anyway the lady who I spoke to said she would sort it. The lady from John Lewis phoned me back and said that Indesit was going to replace the part that they thought was faulty and that Indesit would charge me for this. However John lewis was going to give me back the money that Indesit charged me. About an hour later I had a telephone call from Indesit, asking me which machine I had and asking me questions about the part that had broken. Totally Different attitude from Indesit, after John lewis had spoken to them. In the end, Indesit sent me the wrong part, so had to wait for another one. When it was fixed, I still didn't work. So I phoned Indesit myself again and basically had a go at them. They sent someone out to fix it and didn't charge me. I would also like to point out that every time they phoned me they had the cheek to ask me if I wanted to purchase dishwasher cleaning stuff. really. I will say after years of buying hotpoint products, I shall never buy or recommend to anyone ever again. Since then I have brought a printer and a ipad from john lewis. I had problems with my printer recently, even after I had uninstalled software and put the software back on and downloaded just about everything I could find on the Epson website. The printer would work, even printing the page out and making the printing sound noise that it does but no ink would be on the paper. Phoned John Lewis and was asked to take it back to store. Took to John Lewis on the 20th. Expecting them to say, we will send it away and then when it came back for them to say whatever is wrong with it, isn't covered in the gurantee and its £25 to fix it. (That's what currys and pcworld do) I can't remember the ladies name, but she was very nice and just said she was just going to check with the manager the procedure of faulty products. Anyway she said just go and pick another one, Their wasn't any out on the shop floor what I wanted, but there was one on there website, I asked the lady if I could have that one, she said yes I can order it in for you, didn't mind but then said their is one down stairs, you can collect it. I will say that the HP envy 5544 that they currently have on offer in store, is brilliant, it was way more easier to set up the Epson, it updates Itself and its touchscreen. Was very impressed with the product. In all I have been shopping at John Lewis store in Sheffield since 2014, Mainly for electrical items and I have always found staff to be very knowledgeable, very nice and I would rate their customer service as excellent.

We went to JL Cheadle, Cheshire on Thursday to look for a Bluetooth music system to replace our previous one (also bought from JL). We were so lucky to meet Sam, who works for Samsung and JL - very knowledgeable about all the units and not pushy at all. Russell who was the 'main man' within the music area, came into the conversation as well and was just brilliant - helpful and full of information, he is just the sort of person that you want to talk with about a product. We had our best experience yet at JL and we have had a lot of good ones. Would thoroughly recommend the Cheadle store and the two people mentioned.

I am so surprised to read the poor reviews for John Lewis .I had a problem with a bed carnt thank the store enough and the atention the young lady that delt with the problem was so helpful she must have rang me about ten times thank you verry much .
