Bought a smartphone at john lewis leeds store and a lovely lady called verity went out of her way to find a price match for us after my first offer of a price match didn't work. We saved almost £20. So pleased with the price we went back after one hour and bought another.

A lady called Rachel at Chichester JL on bedding served me yesterday and I was so pleased with her advice and politeness I felt she deserved a very positive review. Her product knowledge was exceptional and as a result i felt happy that my purchases of a duck down bed topper and full set of cotton bed linen were exactly what I was looking for. Sure enough along with a new mattress they give a feeling of luxury worth every penny and we are delighted. Thank you Rachel and J L. Mark Jeffries.

Received the moritz console table today I'm so happy with it looks fantastic in hallway.excelkent quality. The delivery men James & Clint were so helpful unpacked console and took boxe away very pleasant .

Just popped in to buy a concealer and met a fantastic assistant called Carla She was impartial to all brands but advised on nars concealer but she went out if her way to find me samples of priemers from at least 3 different counters it was 6.45 pm Just brilliant!!! Made me feel great Keep up the good work John Lewis York I will be back soon!!

I would like to say 'thank you' to Angela Milliken from Customer Services John Lewis for her excellent response to my complaint regarding gift vouchers. It was dealt with extremely promptly and completely to my satisfaction. I will still support John Lewis on the strength of their brilliant customer service and quality products.

I was first a bit unsure if it was a good idea to order something from John Lewis UK to Norway because there are some bad reviews out there, but I decided to try. Ordered 2 nice mugs I have always wanted, and waited. 3 weeks later they arrived, but unfortunatly one of them was fractured. I took some pictures of it and emailed them, asking for a new mug. 10 hours later, they responded with an appology, and that they had already sent out an order for a replacement mug. 2,5 weeks later it arrived and the mug was all good. No extra charge, and did not need to send the broken one in return. very nice service! happy with my new mugs :)

We have purchased 2 lots of furniture both delivered separatley and the service at the point of sale to the texts to notify us of the delivery time as well as the 30 minute pre delivery call and then the polite professional delivery men .nothing was too much trouble .This is why we buy from john lewis .????

I always find both the shop and online call centre staff at John Lewis helpful. I am a frequent customer to both and although I have at times had faults with purchases I always feel that staff are helpful, courteous, and polite and deal with this in the most efficient and professional manner. All in all an excellent service which means as a customer I will always look for my products here first! Thank you for a good customer experience.

Due to a hicup It was not looking good that I would have my Fridge Freezer delivered in time for a big event to cater for. However yet again John Lewis came up trumps and Geoff and Anton made a special delivery . Great customer service Thanks Jane Kingswood 30. 11. 16

Bought a toshiba laptop from JL nearly 2 years ago, for some reason today November 30 2016 it stopped connecting to the internet. I telephoned technical services to see if I could take it to the branch for them to look at. The girl on the other end of the telephone, called Jody and based in Exeter said she would try to rectify the problem there and then. Five minutes of instructions, and a computer restart, its resolved and works again. Many thanks Jody, if you'd have been in Newcastle you would have received a bottle of wine tomorrow!!!!!

Hi there ordered a hotpoint washing machine saturday was then told 23rd november wednesday delivery between 8 and 11 am was delivered by first class MAN at 9 am the service was FIRST CLASS ordered two televisions last year almost 2K from curry they never turned up to fit them so put them in my car and took them back,TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM CURRYS they have lost the plot, john lewis from now on !! thank you

I normally use Co-op Electrical, a company which I'm very much happy with. However they did not do the particular Tumble Dryer that I wanted. I reluctantly went to John Lewis owing to the bad reviews on here. However, I did my research I checked the response times on their customer care and technical support lines, the calls were answered in a matter of seconds in two occasions and on the other 9 times I phoned (at different times of the day), averaged around a minute, apart from on one occasion when it was a few minutes, I guess around 6 pm is a busy time for them. They were offering a 2 year extended guarantee free of charge (although their extended guarantee's are a little more expensive than Co-op). They told me when they were going to deliver and they delivered on that day, they phoned 20 minutes before as promised, the delivery lads were polite and professional and they also even took the packaging with them

My daughter and I and her future mother-in-law visited the Oxford Street store's children's department on Friday last week looking for bridesmaid dresses. I just wanted to say a very big thank you to the gentleman who was so very helpful to us, unfortunately we did not get his name. We did not have the girls with us (we had arranged to take them shopping the next day near to where they live at Bluewater)so were unsure about sizes and he suggested we purchased the sizes that we thought were right as stocks were running low, just in case Bluewater did not have the sizes. He was spot on as there was not one in their size at Bluewater and the dresses we had bought fitted perfectly. Thank you once again

Jenny (Cheadle store) who was working in the fitting room was extremely helpful when I was looking for a pair of jeans. She went the extra mile in bringing lots of different fittings/brands to try and find me a pair that fit. Thank you Jenny for all your help.

I spend ages today trying to find a hat to go with my outfit for my sons wedding. When putting a hat back on display, a lady called Catherine, Head of Department? In the Edinburgh store, asked if she could help. She spent over half an hour with me trying on different hats and facinators, showing me the correct way to wear them. She then suggested we go and get the outfit I had brought and had got at home, from a concession in the store, so we could match the colours. She then got some feathers from haberdashery and showed me how adding them to the hats could change the look and tie all the colours in. I can't praise her enough. I came away with a fabulous fascinator and feathers to customise it. She went far and beyond the customer service I would expect from John Lewis.

Recently I visited the Haberdashery department in John Lewis Brent Cross. I was very impressed with the way the knitting yarns and equipment were beautifully arranged. cotton reels, buttons and all manner of sewing aids were tastefully displayed. I had a knitting query and needed help, and I got much more, politeness and help with my problem. I felt comfortable and ended up visiting the department again. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff particularly the lady who solved my knitting problem.
